'Haaaaa.' Lucas massaged his forehead as he walked back towards his room.

He didn't know why was that bastard Brock was finding trouble with him now and then. If defeating him in a fair fight was seen as a grave crime then there would huge mess created as every day thousands of fight takes place.

Even he has been defeated many times in the friendly spar in the combat class till he was able to win against his opponents and overpower them.

Before winning, one needs to lose. After all, if you don't know the feeling of losing where will get the drive to win, as the day comes after night and night comes after a day. Winning and losing is the opposite side of the same coin.

Still, some people are unable to endure defeat and tried to get back on others using dirty means to make for their failure. This sick mindset is what screw thier life and they will be unable to move forward in their entire life.

Lucas was honestly having a headache about this. If this goes on, in the future hundreds of people would look for trouble with him just because they got defeated.

'I think agreeing to Princess's condition was the right choice. Even if, I am still unwilling to serve under her still I can at least get some time to prepare myself by staying under her shade for the time being.'Lucas concluded still he will at least try to get back on them.

''Hehehehehehe. James thank you for your gadgets. I didn't know, I would need it this soon.''Lucas muttered.

Entering his room, Lucas turned on his phone and gave a call to Scotch"Hello Scotch, It's me, Lucas."

"Lucas, Oh!! Don't worry, I am already on it. When will be the attack take place and whom do we have to face now? Demons, Villain Society or any other hidden secret criminal organization." Scotch spoke hurriedly.

'Isn't this man overreacting too much. Why does he think, every time I call him there will be an attack?'Lucas muttered inwardly.

"Do you think me as a harbinger of troubles?"Lucas asked Scotch with a stern voice.

"...." Scotch kept mum as he was thinking about whether to answer yes or no.

A thick vein bulged on Lucas.

'Bastard. If not because of my current situation, why would I want your help to begin with.'Lucas wanted to shout as Scotch but kept his voice inside after all its not Scotch fault for thinking of him like this

Clearing his throat Lucas spoke, "Let's leave it aside, I have another job for you."

"What do you need? Do I have to hack someone's security surveillance or get over the firewall and take out the data?" Scotch asked feeling confused with what Lucas wanted his help with.

From the beginning of the deal, every time Lucas asked for his help there would be a disaster followed after. Though he grumbled from outside still he was sincerely happy that because of Lucas many unnecessary sacrifices were prevented. The only problem was that he was the scapegoat for Lucas. He had to deal with everyone who wanted to look for details and handle the aftermath thereafter.

"No, I dont need to hack anyone's biodata. I am sending you a voice record. Add a firewall program on top of it so that it can access only by paying a certain sum of money at the given account and also put a self destruct program in it so that the information in it, can be accessed only once."Lucas explained the things that he had thought.

" Can you do it?"Lucas asked with great anticipation. He isn't sure himself whether Scotch would be able to do it or not. Although what he asked for, isn't too difficult to do and in his previous world it was quite easy to do still he doesn't know whether the current technology in the field of computer science in this world would be able to do it after all he is a layman on this aspect.

"Yeah, If you're talking about this, I can do it quite easily. But the problem is the bank account. Do you want to give your account.?But there will be a problem if you give your account as someone may trace the link." Scotch spoke, explaining the flaw.

"Can't you create a blank bank account without any origin," Lucas asked curiously.

"That's possible but it will take some time still the transfers gonna be troublesome unless we secretly move around the money. There is another way, if I locked onto the information, the tracer wanted before he can access the firewall then there is no need to create another account but in that way, I have to stay online for 24 hours looking for the attack." Scotch said.

"No need, just create another account and do as you fit and just get this done," Lucas spoke rubbing his forehead.

"Okay, I am hanging the call" Lucas was about to cut off the call when he heard a Scotch voice.

"Wait, Lucas, there is something else I need to tell you," Scotch spoke hurriedly.

"As you know, I block your information from spreading in the previous two involvement but recently someone from higher authority had tried to access the information. I could have blocked it if I wanted but the consequences would be dire and an army would be showing up in our place. Do you understand what I am saying?" Scotch wanted to tell this Lucas sooner but he didn't want to disturb him and he knows the authority who looked for this information dont have any bad intentions for him.

"You dont need to worry. I know who was looking for my detail still thank you for your hard work." Lucas thanked Scotch sincerely.

"No problem after all it was all part of the deal." chatting about a few other matters, both of them hung up the call.

Cutting up the call, Lucas thought about the higher authority that wanted to access his information

He already guessed that this must be the work of the Princess.

'Hope I may get a reward for saving the lives of the citizens till now and the more to come in future, after all, there are many incidents about to come like this where the lives of many innocents will be in peril. Maybe I would be granted a piece of land and one day, I may be able to upgrade my status.'Lucas muttered.

There are two types of nobles. Ones who inherit thier family titles and are mainly known as ancient nobles and another one where their title is granted by the King himself due to their merits and achievement that they had done for their nation.

The King will acknowledge their achievements and grant them the status of noble. There have been many cases like this from before.

The reason for doing this was the decline in the number of noble houses. Noble houses can be said to be the pillar of the nation. Dwindle in their number will put great pressure on the nation's safety. Due to dying in wars or being not able to produce hier to carry their generation forward, all the belonging of the noble's houses would come under the kingdom.

There were many instances where an entire family of nobles were wiped out due to war and other such reasons.

After experiencing this world and contemplating many things. Lucas had two goals in sight.

He wanted to become a noble. If he couldn't become a noble then he would try to get in the imperial knight squad and get a knighthood.

No matter where he hide, his life would be in peril. Instead of hiding and praying to stay alive, it's better to kill your way through and fight to live on.

After getting over his recent trouble, it was time for Lucas to visit Julian.

He was already late by half an hour by the appointed time due to the classes.

He seriously didn't know if the Princess would be angry or would kick him out on the first day of his work for being late.

Lucas ran through the corridor towards the student council president, he looked like a man who is late for a very important meeting in his office.

After reaching her office, a lady escorted me to the training room where Princess was training.

He didn't think he would be called to the training room on the very first day.

Following the lady, he reached a wide area that was a huge training ground. It would be large enough for half of the students combined in the first-year dorm.

What Lucas was seeing was the perks of being the President of the Student council of the academy, on top of that she is the only Princess of the kingdom. So it ought to be at least this big.

The training ground had been split into various sections. There is a shooting range for practising archery, an arena, an gravity training room, many small and huge arenas, a room filled with many dummies, a huge stand where all types of weapons were placed.

Lucas shuddered to see the weapons which ranged from swords to spears, from double-handed axe to greatswords, gauntlets and even bows. All types of weapons from short-ranged to long-ranged were placed neatly aligned

'Filthy rich.'Lucas muttered inwardly as he glanced around the training facility and the weapons.

Although he had read that the princess is proficient in all types of weapons, he can't imagine someone getting used to wielding all types of weapons.

After practising swords for quite a time, he already has a hard time raising his proficiency to an intermediate level while the princess practises all types of weapons and was quite proficient in it.

'She deserved to be a lady worthy of respect. Truly one shouldn't look down on the women.' He thought.

As Lucas reached near the training room where Princess was practising, he was able to hear the loud sound of metal being hit.
