'Well, I guess I did well.' I muttered

Theoretically, I scored much better compared to others which even I, found hard to believe. I think except for the children associated with nobles who are forced to study from a young age, not all focus on their studies.

Still, even in the three months, I was able to score quite well except for computer informatics in which I got 43. Leaving that, I got decent marks in others.

'I don't know how Roan performed.'Lucas thought.

My rank was neither good nor bad. If I had gone all out using all my skills, I was sure I can be within the top 1000 but I relied purely on my physical aspect to get over it instead of relying on my skills.

Rubbing my forehead, I breathed the air of relief. I guess I have got a promotion and my dorms will be changed soon.

While everyone was immersed in thoughts. Miss Ami raised her voice to draw the attention.

Clearing her throat she continued.

" Now moving on to the next topic. I have some news for you all. After you have entered the academy. Except for classes you do, you train yourselves after we give you some guidance."

"But from tomorrow onwards, it will be changed."

" Every one of you has to participate in the special training program from now on."

" Four days a week from Monday to Thursday, before your theory class you will follow the instructor for workouts session."

Many of them were stunned by the sudden change of schedule. After adjusting to their daily routine, the academy had suddenly thrown a bomb on them.

'Although from Miss Ami voice, it may look like simple training, what awaits them tomorrow will be hell that gonna be etched in their hearts until they graduate. Cause the instructor will be very strict and you can't leave unless you finished the training or pass out unable to endure.'I thought.

That doesn't mean you can fake illness. They will personally examine you in that regard.

After the class, I noticed a huge gathering near the notice board. All the ranks of the students were displayed there.

I ignored it, as I know most of the top ranks will be occupied by the nobles and their lackeys with Fredrick and Rose at the top followed by Charles and others.

On my way, I met Roan. He has got 494 out of 500 and is ranked within the top 10 in theory. I was honestly surprised at his ranks. His physical assessment was very poor but with the written, he was able to secure a rank of 1800 promotion over his 2100 before.

At 6 AM, a line of students stood before a portal gate that would lead to an artificial dungeon where no monsters were present.

It will be used specifically to train us. Four classes will be included to ones and there are seven places used for us to train.

"Now that everyone arrived. Let us proceed".A bald burly man spoke out, standing at the front.

" I am instructor Roy. These four are my assistants. I am your head instructor who will oversee this workout session."He added pointing at four people behind him.

"Before we go, I want to clarify with you. You may cry, you may be broken down but you have to follow us and finish the workout session. There will be no mercy for you all."

"Is that clear".Roy shouted.

" Yes Sir".

"Raise your voice. Have you all not taken your food?"

" Yes Sir".The students shouted.

Nodding his head he walked into the portal.

After the instructors went in, we proceeded to follow them and entered the portal.

As we entered the first image we saw was that of the forest followed by a mountain.

As we were starting at the scenery before us, Roy pointed to the man behind him. The man came forward and raised his voice to speak.

"As you can see there is forest before you. You have to pass through this forest. After passing the forest you will see a ridge and you will have to climb up the ridge followed by a slope where boulders are placed at the foot of the slope. You have to carry the boulders to the top of the mountain".

" After you reach the mountain top. You will see a cliff where several ropes are tied to the top of another mountain peak."

"From that mountain, you will see a route down the other side You have to finish the entire set before you can leave this place."

After giving a long speech describing the training course, he went back.

Gulp

Many swallowed their saliva on listening to the instructor.

I was thinking about the height of the mountain. It will surely be difficult to climb it and the worse thing has yet to come.

Still, some were thinking that it looked easy.

"I can finish it within an hour."

" It looked easy. It will be like a stroll in the park."

"I thought it will be something hard but this doesn't look too hard."

Students started to murmur among themselves. Some were even bragging about how easy it looked.

Seeing the students chatting casually, The bald man didn't say much but smiled scanning the students.

"You all seemed to be in high spirits. Good for you all," Roy said with a smirk as he gestures to his subordinates.

The two men took out brown boxes from their storage ring and opened them.

The students were surprised to see the boxes.

" All of you form a line and come take the bracelets one by one".

All of us formed lines in rows.

The first student went towards them and took the bracelet and as soon as he wore it. He felt a sudden change in his body.

The moment he wore it, he lost the ability to use mana.

The students who were behind him in the line was surprised as the 2 Star aura he was giving suddenly vanished and he looked like a normal person now. Their eye widened in horror seeing the person before him losing mana

After everybody wore the bracelet they felt that they have gone to their previous state, the time before they awakened mana.

In their current state, they were no different from ordinary people.

After putting on the bracelet I looked at the students who were bragging earlier started to panic.

I was no better than them. I am not conceited enough to say I can clear the course. I have to give my all not to lag behind others. As this is training to improve me I can't use my boots and my skills to increase my agility.

"You all must have already figured it out. We have sealed your mana. You all have to go through this routine from now on. We want you to improve your physique and strength without relying on mana." Roy spoke with a stern voice.

The students present here started to show their discontent for sealing their mana.

More complaints could be heard but Roy turned blind eye to this and spoke"As you have felt, how helpless you are when your mana is sealed. They're certain away when by which your opponent may seal your mana in the battle. If you are not used to it. You know the consequences can be deadly."

Most of us felt powerless without our powers and wondered how we are supposed to get over this incredible hard training course. Many of them started to despair seeing the huge forest and high mountain they have to climb with their physical strength to only.

With mana, we can clear it but without it, we are no better than an ordinary person in the crowd.

Roy asked his assistant to start the countdown.

3...2...1

As soon as the countdown finished like an arrow was released from the bow. Lucas and others broke from the crowds and started running towards the forest in front of them while others were still lost in thoughts.

Fredrick wasted no time and took the lead. Although our mana is sealed we still have our physical strength. Those who reached 3 Star have a slight advantage over the others.

Those who were lost in thoughts figured out that their pleading will not reverse the situation and they are just wasting time.

In just a matter of seconds, the entire place has been cleared up and all the students started running towards the forest ahead of them.

As the students moved they left behind a trail of dust and sand which spread across the area as marched forward.

Roy stood at the side and taped on the tablets which activated the drones and cameras in the area and a projection appeared which displayed the footage of the students in the forest.

"Sir, I wonder how many of them gonna survive this hellish training. How many of them can endure this and reach here on the first day." One of the Roy assistants spoke.

" It's not only training of their body but also of their mindset. Those who have given up even before they have started will never be able to clear it. Even if you are under great pain and burden if you have the will to overcome your suffering, only then you can rise to great heights."Roy spoke.

" Anyway let's see what these minions are capable of when their powers are sealed. I like seeing these struggling kids each year."Roy smiled as he stared

at the footage.

All the assistants frowned on listening to him thinking of him as a person who enjoyed seeing other sufferings.
