The Extra's Survival Chapter 47

In the middle of the night, four silhouettes disappeared amid the darkness.

The night was cold at the current time, accompanied by strong chilly winds as if signalling the forthcoming of a storm.

Four silhouettes moved with an incredible speed which was invisible to the naked eyes of ordinary people.

They were quite agile and the speed at which they advanced was so fast that when they passed the people, they couldn't notice them except feeling a gust of wind passing their bodies.

Even a 1-Star warrior would find it difficult to keep track of them.

In a very short time, they appeared at the designated location which was in the northern direction of the bar.

Four people stood on top of a tree and scanned the sight before them.

The place was well illuminated in contrast to the surrounding area which was covered in darkness.

The mansion before them was quite extravagant, along with the luxurious garden which was tightly monitored by the people who seemed to be guarding the place.

There seemed to be five two-man squads and each of them seemed to be 1-Star.

"How did they manage to hide their illegal trade in this place. The place certainly attracts attention. Compared to the surrounding shabby houses this magnificent rich building would surely look suspicious if one looked carefully".Parth commented calmly as he stood on the tree branch.

We remained silent without saying anything. It was easy to guess how they manage to get this far. Someone in a higher position has supported them and got some benefits.

On the other hand, Parth glanced at us and asked "What should we do".

Lucas thought about it for a moment. Originally Fredrick and Parth should have gone inside but now with his presence, the way things will go will surely be different.

After pondering for some time Lucas spoke" Parth with your skill, you can sneak inside without getting caught. So your first move inside and find the place where the kids are trapped. I am going to take out the one in the garden while Fredrick first knocked down the ones that are guarding the gates then you can sneak in."

" Also don't kill them just break some bones or knock them unconscious. Do this as swiftly as possible so that we can take out as many as we can before alerting them".Lucas added.

Fredrick and Parth nodded.

"If they somehow noticed our invasion," Parth asked.

"Nothing, we have to just go all out if that happens" Fredrick added.

"I will be on standby and if any trouble arises, I will make my move" The old man doesn't want to interfere in this kid business, after all, there are some battles which these kids have to fight themselves.

"Yes. Please make sure to protect the kids if the situation arises" Fredrick added.

Both Parth and Lucas jumped down the tree and ran towards the wall. Both of them moved swiftly silently. They jumped over the wall, landing silently inside.

Parth looked at Lucas giving a brief nod and hiding behind the bushes laying low he moved towards the mansion while Lucas moved towards the men patrolling outside.

A man was walking leisurely without any weapons, patrolling the outer perimeter of the garden suddenly stopped his track as he could hear subtle noises of someone passing through the grass. He turned his head to look in the direction of the noise, only to find nothing.

Lucas found his first prey and started moving towards it swiftly. As he was nearing the man, the man turned to look in his direction. Lucas didn't fear or hide, instead he activated the shadow step and emerged from behind the man's shadow.

Before the man look around, his vision blurred and the world around him suddenly turned dark and he fell on the ground with a small thud.

Lucas dragged his body to the side and hide it behind the bushes and surveyed the surrounding.

After using the shadow step first, Lucas realised that he can use shadow steps 10-15 times and unlike Parth bloodline ability which can completely melt into the shadow, Lucas can only jump from one shadow to a shadow within a certain distance.

This means this skill becomes useless if he is in open areas where there is no shadow.

'Let's think about it later. I should first take them out,' thinking about it, Lucas dashed forward.

Because of more men patrolling here, he couldn't move around freely so he knocked the ones who were easier to knock and used the shadow steps for the ones who were in the place where it was hard to get by without alerting them.

As Lucas emerged on one of the back of the man and punched him on his back. He found the man was wearing armour inside and the punch made a small noise.

Unable to think what to do he just snapped the neck of the man killing him but the sound didn't go unnoticed.

Someone noticed the anomaly of missing guards and ran towards to inform others and was stunned to see a man, snapping one of his comrade's neck's

He wanted to shout to inform them and was about to ring the warning but before he could do he got hid by metal staff and his vision suddenly became blurry.

Lucas turned back to see Fredrick standing over the unconscious man.

Fredrick got closer to Lucas and both of them hide behind the bush, before making their next move.

" I think we have taken on all the outer ones. Now we have to just take the ones inside" Fredrick spoke seeing the outer perimeter devoid of anyone.

Both the duo did a wonderful job in taking out the patrolling guards without alerting the one inside.

"Hmm. Let's move inside ".Lucas said.

" The inside must be secured quite heavily and they should have weapons to protect themselves, unlike these local thugs," Lucas spoke as both of them started moving.

With ten or more 1-Star guarding the place no sane ordinary man would enter here. That's why this place has never been in the limelight. With no one of higher authority visiting the slum surrounding here this place had remained unnoticed.

However, the group must have never imagined in their life that they have been invaded by these kids who are still in the academy much less they are first year's.

After knocking more of the man in the inside, near the mansion. Lucas together Fredrick moved into the sparse shadow of the trees and we're currently contemplating, entering the place by the door or window.

After all, even if they were more powerful than the ones inside they can't knock them down as easily as they had done and had to kill them and they can't hide, unlike Parth.

So once they made their move, the ones inside will be alerted.

The front door of the mansion opened and two men walked out, they were shocked to see two people in front of them hiding in the shadow of the tree.

"I think our game of hidden and seek has come to an end," Lucas said and Fredrick laughed bitterly looking at him.

Swish~

Both they dashed forward towards the man.

Bang...Bang.

The man flew inside blasting the door as they were kicked by the duo.

"After all, since we have been already spotted, let's enter in style," Fredrick spoke as he entered from the front while Lucas decided to take the ones on the upper floor and climbed over the wall and broke the window with and punch and entered the room.

Before breaking the door, he subconsciously prayed so that inside the door, there may not be a trap like that one where he was trapped in the artificial dungeon by entering through the window of the ghost house.

As soon as his feet landed inside the room he saw two men were drinking playing cards.

Lucas's lips twitched uncontrollably, seeing them leisurely passing time while Parth had already invaded their mansion.

Without wasting any time Lucas threw a fireball at one of them and appeared in front of others.

Holding the man head with his hand, Lucas gave a kick to the jaw using his knee.

Clack.

The sound of breaking bones reverberated across the room while the other man screamed on top of his lungs as he was being burnt down.

The room caught fire with the furniture started burning along with the carpets due to Lucas fireball as the man rolled in pain on the floor.

'Shit. I shouldn't have used it,' Lucas cursed at his naivety but his expression went to normal thinking that it was thier plan from the beginning to burn down the place.

He is on the top floor. While kids were prisoners in the underground. With Fredrick and Parth the kids can be evacuated quickly.

But just to make sure the situation is under control, I informed them about my doing and asked them to hurry the evacuation while I was busy clearing out the people here.

Parth has already found the kids trapped at the prison in the underground where Fredrick was on his way towards Parth.

I opened the door and walked along the corridor.

Two people were hurrying towards me seeing smelling the burnt smell that was coming from behind.

One of the men took out the sword from his waist and charge at me.

I parried his move and rotated my body hitting him with my elbow. The man flew back slamming against the wall.

Disappearing from my spot, I appeared beside the other and punched him on his head knocking him down and throwing him into the room where the fire was burning.
