I haven't taken anything from them after all, there may not be anything valuable in these scum pockets.

The old man searched all over him. He found a small badge, that must belong to his organisation involved in selling slaves except these the man only had his smartphone along with some cigarettes. The man even didn't have a storage ring with him.

The old man took a bucket of ice water and splashed it on the man.

" Aahhhhh" The man groaned in pain as the cold water hit his face.

Opening his eyes he looked around to see teenage kids in front of him, backed by an old man with the slave boy sitting at the corner staring at him. His hand and legs were tied with the chair. Even if he managed to break free, he didn't dare to confront these kids before him who was giving out the aura of 2-Star.

He was scared out of his wits seeing their vicious expression.

"Even if you ask me anything, I will not speak".

Still, he mustered his courage to offer some resistance, even if it was futile. The truth is, he was hoping in his heart, that they may give him some offers to let him live or take him under them if he gave them the information but his judgement was soon proved wrong.

"Let's break his hands.No let's cut one of his fingers as an example before asking him anything," Parth said without any expression rubbing his chin.

The man trembled in fright listening to him.

We turned to look at Parth apathetic expression.

"He is already showing his talent's".I muttered inwardly

While everyone was stunned at Parth suggestion the old man at the corner praised him secretly.

' That's good the leader's grandson should be like this.'

Without glancing at anyone, he pulled out the dagger walking towards the man.

"I think I should leave this place. You can call me after your work is over" Roan wanted to leave this place as quickly as possible.

"Shut up and just stay here. You need to learn these things, they may be helpful in future".Parth shouted at Roan.

Roan shrink back and glanced at me with a pleading look asking for permission to leave.

I looked at him for a second and said" Ok you can leave. Take Jay with you and give him some food."

Roan disappeared taking Jay with him as fast as possible.

"His heart is still soft" I laughed bitterly.

Parth took his hands and placed his dagger on his pinky finger.

"Now dog. Say everything you know. Otherwise, the consequences gonna be dire".

The man nodded" I will speak everything. Please have mercy. I will speak everything you want to know."

"How many are involved in this, what is their strength and who is backing your organisation after all, without anyone backing how can you all trade slaves right the eyes of security bureau".

" I don't know who is backing us. Our leader used to wear masks. We have 27 1 Star and 3 2-Star. Our leader strength is unknown even to us."The man gave all the details.

Fredrick frowned hearing the details and asked"Is this all the manpower you have? Do you trade at other places too?"

" No this is just a side branch. I don't know much of it . I just handle the goods and inspect them that brought ".

Parth slapped him on hearing him referring to humans as goods. Lucas stared at him with cold eyes.

Lucas was starting to lose himself in anger. Seeing the illegal things happening before him that he was not used to, was making it difficult for him to keep calm.

Of all the ones present here, only Fredrick seemed to maintain his sanity, as he was already aware of things like this still, he always wanted to prevent these things when he encounter them.

" What else do you know,"Parth asked putting the dagger on his neck.

"I know only this much. Please believe me".

" If you want to save them, you have to hurry, as at midnight they will transport the slaves to a new place for selling. If you waste time here on me then you may lose the chance to save those pitiful childrens."

"Please don't kill me. I swear, I will keep myself away from doing illegal things and will even leave the capital, no I will leave the kingdoms. Just don't kill me. I have a family" The man seemed to suffer a mental breakdown as he carried on spouting nonsense.

"Knock him down and tie him at the corner so that he can't escape" Fredrick ordered.

"Now what should we do," Fredrick asked.

"Simply we should crush them. Old man, you have to assist us otherwise if anything happens to us. You are going to be in trouble".Parth looked at the old man.

The old man already had a headache from the moment Lucas brought an unknown man. He predicted that things were gonna be like this.

"Okay I will lend you a hand but I will not make my move unless you are in danger. You young ones have to fight for yourselves."The old man spoke.

"Yes, you are a right old man. If you make a move, this is gonna be too easy for us. I can't enjoy killing that bastard".Parth laughed.

"I think Parth should infiltrate that place using his ability. We have to make sure that those children may not caught up in our fights. After all, our main priority is those children's safety" Lucas explained his plan.

Everyone nodded.

"Fredrick just for precaution, we should inform the public bureau about this matter. We shouldn't take the law in our hands carelessly" Lucas said.

"But who will go. I don't think Roan will be able to convince them". Fredrick fell in deep thought.

Just as everyone was thinking about how to convince them, they heard the voice of the man confessing about the slave trade.

Everyone looked at the source of sound in disbelief.

The sound came from Lucas smartphone.

" Haha hahaha".Everybody laughed seeing Lucas thinking.

"Lucas you are a hell of a man", Parth admired Lucas for a moment. He surely leaves no leaves unturned.

" With this recording Roan can convince them easily and for safety, I think Fredrick you should give him a badge of Frost's Dukedom".Lucas spoke and explained the plan.

Every noble house have their symbols and the workers associated with the house wear those emblems as identification

Roan showing it to them will put extra pressure on them to act.

Though it will be easy to solve the aftermath, if I asked skies for help, I don't want to trouble them now and saved them for later situations after all I have already given them a fair share of troubles.

"It's 8 PM now. We will move in an hour. All of you relax for an hour so that we sober up. We have to be in our peak stage while we attack"Fredrick advised.

Leaving the man behind, the old man leads us to the upper floor. Where we each took a room.

Fredrick and Lucas started to meditate where Parth and the old man went to do some miscellaneous work while Roan accompanied Jay.

I opened the shop to look for skills. I gained 50000 experience points from killing the 3-Star warrior from the villain society.

I wanted to save the experience points for the latter but I think I have to use it now although there will be just one 3-Star which will be taken by Fredrick I don't want to take a risk.

After spending a few months in this world there is one thing I have learnt, that is not to trust the script of the novel.

The event may occur as mentioned but the people involved in it may change or there may change in the way the event will occur. So I have to prepare for the worst.

I pretended to close my eyes while in my mind I opened the system shoo to look for skills.

'The skill shadow step is a skill to must buy, but I was not sure of ice spikes.'Lucas pondered.

'In the future, the skills gonna be better but there is one thing I noticed that the skills and the items in the shop are less than the ones available when I was in 1-Star. Second, seeing the skills that are shown here I can feel the skills gonna be helpful in the upcoming battle.'

'I don't know the system origin not its purpose but it always gives the skill as if it can predict the future situation I will be facing.'
