I swung the sword in the air to feel the sword. It was slightly on the heavier side different from the one I am used to.

Heavier swords are used to increase the power of your attacks while the lighter ones can be used for swinging swifter.

'I have to get used to it. But that man didn't drop the sheath of the sword.'

According to Lucas, the sheath of the sword is equally important as the sword itself.

'I got the sword at the right time as my previous sword blade had been damaged by fighting with those hard metal puppets and that man.'

I looked at the sword gifted by my parents.

Seeing the swords I remembered the moment I killed the person. It was my first to kill.

Somehow I feel like I will never be the same naive person as I have been in my previous life.

What was making me anxious was not killing people, rather the fact I was not feeling any guilt or an ounce of compassion even after killing the person. Instead of being guilty, I am feeling excited or urge to slay those evil people who commit the atrocities.

I don't know if the will owner body is influencing my way of thinking or I have been this type of person from inside.

It makes me question whether I am becoming more cold-hearted and may turn into a demon who takes pleasure in killing.

Shaking my head, I tried to divert my mind holding my sword which has been chipped from both sides.

'Though you have been ruined I will treasure you all my life since it's the first gift I got from my parents after coming to this world.' I spoke to the sword as if it is a person.

Hugging the sword I placed it on the wall as a display piece to make me remember all the things, I have gone through with this blade till now if I ever forget.

It will be a symbol of my struggle.

Due to the mess left by those rascals, the first year were given a break for ten days.

While the second year where classes were suspended for two weeks due to the mess caused by the fight of certain someone in the second year's class corridor.

That certain someone was none other than Lucas.

Going by the original plot there was going to be many casualties so the classes would be suspended for all years for a month but due to my interference, this has changed.

I received the call from Parth.

"Hey where are you, we are already at the gate waiting for you."

" I am in my room".Lucas spoke calmly

"What, you haven't left your room till now. All of us are already waiting for you."Parth got annoyed listening to Lucas hasn't left the room.

" I am on my way. Wait for me a few minutes".Lucas cut the call after saying that.

"Where is he now," Roan asked as Parth cut the call. He was feeling uncomfortable staying with Fredrick and Parth duo.

"He hasn't left his dorm. He said he is coming soon" Parth smiled bitterly.

After the tragedy, Parth suggested for all of us to visit a small bar and spend some quality time with each other.

I was reluctant at first but after looking at my dairy I remembered there is someone I can poach to my side.

If I can bring him to my side he will be a great right-hand man in the future. I can also use him as a butler and manage my things.

Styling my hair, I looked at the mirror once again before leaving.

If not for the beauty standards in this world. My face can easily match that of a celebrity of my previous worlds.

Sigh.

But it doesn't matter in this world even an ugly become an average as his realm increases. I also have bloodline upgrade potions. Increasing my bloodline will greatly boost my strength along with my handsomeness.

Hurrying outside the Academy I found the trio chatting at the corner of a shop.

"By the way, can you lend me a dagger? "Lucas asked indifferently.

Parth was stunned for a moment.

" Why. Why are you trying to take away precious babies? They can't bear to stay away from me even for a second"Parth shed a few false tears to make his acting look real.

Fredrick kicked Parth's butt.

"How can someone be filled with this much nonsense" Roan had been surprised by Parth ability to speak bullshit.

Roan has recently got to know Parth and Fredrick, as they belong to other classes.

Everything that comes out from his foul mouth is utter bullshit.

In this world, if words alone can kill an opponent Parth would have surely been born with this ability.

Parth after getting over the pain of separation handed a dagger to Lucas...

Lucas looked at the dagger and put it in his storage ring.

The bar Parth led him to was a small shabby bar made of a wooden house. It has got a rustic touch to it.

"Parth do you know this place well?" Fredrick asked curiously.

"Yes, I know about it from my childhood, my grandfather and the owner of this bar can be said to be an acquaintance.

"A few years ago this place was very popular. As you know, with the technological advancement people now generally goes to a nightclub or arcade with modern facilities, so rarely anyone visits here".

Opening the door Parth greeted the old man behind the counter and asked him to treat them with the best.

Tapping on the table for few times Parth started to speak" Now as you I am the initiator of this small party. I think I should say a few words".

Standing elegantly on his seat Parth raised his chin to speak, while the people presented in the bar looked at us a fool.

We all averted our gaze indicating we don't know this fellow.

"Spoiled brat, your body has already matured but that previously tiny brain of your is still the same, small as before".The old man of the bar spoke as he put the dishes.

" You...old man. You are the one whose brain has become small"Parth snorted and both of them carried many bickering.

The old man and Parth looked very close. The old man looked weak and his appearance may fool you, but trust me you should never offend this man.

He was part of the shadow clan who carried on the tortures and after a few years, he retired opening this small inn.

The old man placed the few dishes we ordered and left after scolding Parth.

Cough...Cough

Coughing a few times Parth started giving his speech.

"So where was I".

"I would like to express my sincere gratitude for accepting my invitation and following me to this small shabby inn. You can also see this as treat for Roan for entering our small friend circle".

" Though we haven't been friends for a long time, the experience we have shared will be etched deep in our hearts. Our brotherhood shall be mentioned in the history for a generation to come..generation to come"

Our faces were already in shame listening to this fool hypocrisy.

Parth carried on but we were oblivious to his bullshit, focused on eating and drinking.

Still, his speech was quite good. The fact that he was able to say, those cringe lines with a straight face was worthy of respect. I also made sure to remember some parts of the speech.

After all who knows it may be useful in the future.

" You idiots...I gave such an outstanding speech yet you started eating without giving me a small round of applause".

"I sincerely offer my condolences" Lucas smirked.

Fredrick gave a small clap "If your nonsense is finished if I believe. So come and eat before the food becomes cold"

" Okay...Now everybody can drink to your heart content" Parth raised his beer glass asking for cheers

"Cheers," all said in unison.

"To our successful future".

Everyone laughed and drank forgetting the worries we were facing in the academy.

I was feeling warm and happy at the moment seeing them like this, after all, I have been enjoying thier company whom I can call friends after such a long time.

'Now enough enjoyment. It's time to work.' Lucas's eyes become cold thinking about the thing he had to do.

Though he didn't want to spoil the fun still he has to go.

"I drank too much. I need to get some fresh air as I am not used to drinking" Lucas spoke.

"Okay take your time," Fredrick said

Lucas rose from his seat after bidding them and went outside.

A small boy of age 13 ran through the alleyway without glancing back with his life on the line.

His body was covered with bruises and scratches. He would look handsome if not for his sickly appearance.

Currently, he was running away from the two-man who were chasing him.

'I can't get caught no matter what. I will survive get stronger and take revenge for my family and friends. I will surely save you all. Please wait for me.'The boy repeated the words as he struggled to escape.

He was running barefoot. His foot was already covered in blisters and blood running barefoot.

The man chasing him finally closed the gap and grabbed the collar of the boy.
