'I killed another one, cutting the head.'

Just as spoke, I spurted blood on the man's body.

As the man fell, I was about to take a breath of relief when I heard a faint buzzing sound.

My sixth sense was telling me to get away as far as possible.

I got closer and checked his headless body and I heard the sound of beep..beep.

'What is this.'I thought.

Searching through his body I found a mini swap bomb emitting a buzzing sound, which still had 5 seconds to explode.

" Damn".I kicked the headless body unable to contain my anger.

'It's good that he died otherwise, I would have tortured and screwed him thousand times.'

I turned back and tried to escape activating the flash steps. I don't even have time to remove the swords in my chest. The mini bomb had already scared the shit out of me.

My body was drenched in blood and there is also a hole in my chest where blood was gushing out.

I repeatedly coughed blood as I felt my chest burning up, as I ran leaning against the wall to support myself.

As tried to speed up I stumbled falling on the ground as I noticed my legs feeling weak.

I crawled to get up but I had already lost too much blood. I tried to take potion but it fell from my hands and spill on the floor as my hands were shivering.

The pain of the wound which I suffered in the fight which had been stopped by adrenaline came at the worst time to bite.

Boom.

I turned around to see as the boom blasted with a blinding light, along with hot air with flames gushing towards me.

I don't know whether I will die or not. I was not feeling any fear rather my mind was calm. I don't know if I have trust in the necklace or my trust in someone who will save me or I have already overcome the fear of death.

As the flames were about to reach me it froze turning into ice along with surroundings, emitting mist and fog with vapour.

And many ice walls formed before me acting as barriers to stop the explosion.

A lady with long white hair fluttering in the air, appeared out of thin air before me and with a gesture of her hands the remaining flames were extinguished along with the explosion and the entire corridor was frozen.

My vision blurred as the lady turned back to look at me.

She must have thought of me quite pitiful seeing me in this state.

Lucas was running from someone in an unknown place drenched in blood from head to toe.

Following Lucas was a sea of flames wanting to devour him.No matter how fast he ran, he was unable to escape as the flames reached him.

"Aaaaahhnn".

" Aaaaahhhhh".

"Where am I. Am I dead? Is this heaven?" I woke up screaming on top of my lungs, when I heard another scream, that scared me.

"Whooo".

" Haaa..Haaaa. It's me, Roan".

"Lucas for god's sake don't scare me like that."Roan heaved a sigh of relief seeing Lucas alright.

" Hush. I am alive".

I looked around to find myself in one of the cabins in the infirmary with Roan sitting beside me, looking at me with a face full of worry.

Seeing his face, I thought I had made him worry unnecessarily. I wanted to say I am alright but as soon I opened my mouth

"Ahh".A small groan left my mouth as I tried to move my body. My entire body was wrapped in bandages and I looked like a mummy.

I felt a burning sensation in my chest through, the hole has closed which has been pierced by the sword.

Then the pungent smell of the ointments assaulted my nose along with a bitter taste I felt in my mouth due to taking potions.

My mood became worse. I rubbed my forehead due to feeling a headache.

My memories were faint at the moment as I could barely remember anything after I killed that bastard and then the bomb went off.

Everything seems to blur and hazy after that. I don't even remember if I was able to walk away or someone saved me.

If someone indeed had saved me, it was important for me to find out the person, after all, I don't know what intention will he or she bore towards me after seeing finding me there with a bomb about to explode.

I can see a huge pain in the ass coming for me.

Sigh.

Roan patted my shoulder seeing me in deep thought" I don't know what you did but still thank you".

"Why?"I asked.

" I know you had a hand in solving the crisis we have suffered and your advice also saved my life".

"God knows what would have happened if I had gone outside, "Roan spoke with gratitude.

" You are welcome" I gave him a faint smile.

Snore.Snore.

I turned to look who was sleeping, making weird noises to find Parth was sleeping on the sofa near the door with a drool of saliva flowing from his mouth.

"Awckkk," Both Lucas and Roan said at the same time looking at Parth in disdain.

"Parth why is he here".Lucas asked finding it hard to believe Parth was here.

" Oh, Fredrick and Parth had visited you, while you were still unconscious. Fredrick left after seeing you as he still had some work to finish".

"Ohhh."

I wanted to know how things happened at his end.

Maybe he knows who had saved me or maybe Fredrick saved me.

"Lucas".

" Hmmm".

"Tell me if you are going to do something dangerous in the future," Roan said me with a fierce look.

I looked around to avert his gaze but I couldn't.In the end, I gave up and spoke" Everyone was in a dangerous situation. I wasn't the only one."

"Hmm. You have point".Roan answered after pondering for a while.

" Then you can simply ask for my help".

I glared at Roan scanning him from head to toe and thought 'Just where those, this nerd get the confidence to offer me help.'

After all, it hadn't been 15 days since I first met Roan who can't even raise his voice when he was beaten.

'Someone must have tainted my pure and innocent Roan.'

"Stop staring at me like that."

Only God knows that Lucas was the one who has influenced Roan so much. Observing Lucas every day Roan concluded that there isn't much difference between him and Lucas in terms of background and personality, except the fact that Lucas's courage is noteworthy.

Instead of giving up on his life to fate, he had decided to fight his fate and create his path not wanting to bow down to others.

As we were dazed in thought Fredrick came waking Parth from his good sleep.

"Is it already morning. I don't want to go to class please let me sleep" Parth rubbed his eyes and was going to sleep again when Fredrick hit his head.

"Ouch".

Fredrick's beating woke him up completely and he started at Lucas.

" Oh Miss Mummy, How are your wounds?"Parth spoke yawningly.

Fredrick and Roan looked at each other and then burst into laughter.

A thick vein bulged on my head.

'This bastard. He doesn't have an ounce of sympathy even for a patient.'

"If you claim to be second in spouting bullshit, no one would have guts to take first place".Lucas spoke as he glared at Parth.

" Haaaa".

Fredrick laughed holding his belly.

"Okay enough of this nonsense, Lucas how are you now."

" I am alright".

"That aside did you manage to catch that hacker".

Fredrick's eyes turned cold hearing the hacker name, After all, they have caused a huge mess endangering the lives of many which no one can tolerate.

" I was able to catch him alive. I broke his legs and hands to make sure he stays put".

"I have handed him to the instructors".said Fredrick.

In a secluded room where only instructors were permitted.

Harris smoked releasing small puffs of air.

"It has been a while since I saw you smoke".Ami spoke.

"This occasion is special".Harris said without any expression.

"Only the blood fiend can celebrate killing others as a festival." She spoke.

" Aside from that how is your injury. I don't think you needed to fight. If your bloodlust started controlling you, you would have caused more mess than those from the Villain Society who had infiltrated".Ami spoke with concern.

"Hmmm. Even I don't want to make a move personally but the situation was like. If I moved just a second late, I don't know how many casualties would have happened today".

Sigh.

"Though we have managed to prevent casualties still there are many who are injured even though they were not the target and we have suffered huge loss".Miss Ami said rubbing her chin.

" Fortunately the hero association acted swiftly and suppressed the news of horizon being breached".

"If people got to know that horizon is not safe there will be a huge chaos still, those greedy bastards from the nobles faction will not miss the chance to target the king for compensation," Harris said with a cold expression that differs from his usual gentleman appearance.

"Hmm, they are just wolves who want to fight for the position of the tiger".Ami spoke.

" How many of them infiltrated ".Harris asked rating his brows.

" Around 20 or something."

Harris frowned as the number was quite high.

"We could have prevented this happening from the beginning but with Vice-Principal being away those bastards didn't take it seriously as the information was not from any official sources" Ami exhibited a bitter smile.

Harris sighed.
