Unaware of surprised expressions on others faces.

Lucas focused on the puppets before him, his goal was to take down the seven puppets before him without using the fireball.

If he used fireball, he could deal with 2-3 puppets quickly, without shedding a sweat but that would put him in a difficult situation as even a low ranked skill can cost up to a million, so he can't expose his skills for now.

Ducking the punches, Lucas moved across the room so that the puppet would not gang upon him.

Lucas tilted his head to avoid a lot and kicked the puppet and it flew away hitting the other puppets.

Clang.Bang...Bang.

Slash.

Beep...Beep.

Lucas put down his sword after defeating the puppets and walked towards the door.

As Lucas exited his hair fluttered in the wind, which added a certain charm to his face, in the eyes of the onlooker especially after his fantastic performance.

You have cleared the test in 3:05 minutes.

"Hmm.. Quite good".

As I walked out of the trial room. I could feel someone staring at me. Turning around I found it was Fredrick and Parth giving thumbs up. I looked at him giving a brief nod and walked on my way towards Roan.

Lucas was not interested in Fredrick trial as he already knew the results but there is a sinister plot going to happen after the test. So he has to take some precautions.

'How can there be no disaster going around with the protagonists around, it has been quiet for some time .'

So he has to get ready for it. He has already taken precautions informing Scotch lying about his abilities and asking him to hack and track one of the people.

" I had a vision. There is going to be an attack on Horizon" Lucas spoke taking a sip of coffee.

Scotch frowned on hearing Lucas and spoke without thinking.

"What is going to happen now."

"Disaster or a war is going break out on us, or demons will attack." Scotch was already freaking out.

After the recent incidents, Scotch has realized that the person before he is a trouble detector. The last time he went around just to take look, feeling suspicious, we got our hands in demon business.

Aaron is already having a headache fearing a demon may target them for spoiling their business.

On other hand, Lucas glared at Scotch.

"Aren't you overreacting too much? The situation is not as bad as it seems."

" So what is the trouble and what role do you want me to play."

"Listen to me, the Villain Society gonna make a move".

" When".Scotch frowned.

If Villain Society is moving there is going to be big trouble.

"After our combat assessment. Five days from now. Someone gonna infiltrate inside and will hack causing the puppets to go on rampage".

" Hmm. I get it but what should be their aim for doing this. Though their methods are vicious, they generally aim for the people associated with politics and power"Realising something Scotch jaw dropped.

His expression changed and he shivered"Don't tell me they are aiming for the successor of the nobles."

Technically yes, with both Fredrick and Charles being sons of the dukes present along with other nobles here. They couldn't give away this golden opportunity to take down the future pillars of the kingdom which may result in the internal war.

Killing them would surely create disharmony among the king and the nobles. What will happen next is easy to guess.

"Two birds with one stone".Lucas sneered.

" Your work is to track the name I am going to give . If you can, then try to hack into his smartphones. Then contact Miss Ami, my homeroom teacher".

"I will talk with her saying I have got the warning from the skies".

" Aaron is going to get a headache again".

I don't know any of the member's name or their faces who will infiltrate. After all, they are just stepping stones for the protagonist. Many of them will die even without their description mentioned.

The author even hadn't written the number of people going to infiltrate.

"I have already warned Miss Ami about the possible rampage that is going to happen. Now I have to take on that hacker or just provide a helping hand."

Although Fredrick was able to resolve the situation, still few casualties happened with many injuries.

" First, let's look for Roan."Nobody name was mentioned among the ones that suffered casualties, that is why don't know if Roan is among them, that's why I have to make sure he is safe otherwise I will feel responsible if anything happened to him.

I went around his class looking for him but I didn't find him there.

"Where did he go ?" I looked nervously.

As I looked around and couldn't find him, I started feeling uneasy.

"Did they take him down even before it started?"

" Hey. Do you know where Roan is?"I asked one of the classmates who were beside Roan in the test.

"Oooh, Roan he is in the infirmary" My mind went blank.

"Shit" I ran towards the infirmary without any second thought praying for his well being.

"Aaaah" As I got near I hear a scream that seems to be a Roan voice.

"Roan" I called him opening the door but what awaited before me was hard to describe.

Both the Roan and nurse glanced at me angrily as if I ruined their special moment.

Roan was coughing with tears in his eyes. Spraying the potions he was drinking.

"What the hell is happening here".

" Are you his friend, it's good that you are here".

"He is behaving like a spoiled child unable to take potions due to bitter taste. I am not here to babysit him. If he doesn't take potions it will take him days to heal the fractures".The nurse placing the potions on the table beside Roan turned back and left."

She looked quite annoyed. Maybe Roan had pissed her a bit.

I asked Roan how he ended up in this state.

So the sum was, he was barely able to pass but he has a fracture in his legs and a broken rib.

" Just how did it come to this".

"As you know I have recently started training to become a mage so I had not learnt defensive spells except for a few offensive spells".

" So as the puppet came closer I was panicked, I tried my best to attack keeping my distance but as it was a closed space, you understand..."Roan smiled bitterly.

Sigh.

I got the gist of it, after all the mages are weak in the close combat or melee unless, you are quite good with both offence and defence, so Roan fight in closed spaced was disadvantageous for him still I was happy he passed in one piece.

Roan can be said to my only friend. At least he is alright and has not been targeted by the villain society.

"Okay take rest here and drink the potion. I know the potions are too much bitter but you will get used to it. So don't behave like a child and don't go out of infirmary today".

" I have some work to do see you".saying this Lucas left.

Sitting on the bed I opened the system looking to find anything useful that can help me in the upcoming battle.

On pressing the Pearl on the earring a white light will flash on the opponent eyes blinding the opponent for a minute.

Boots of unknown origin can increase your speed by a minor realm. There will be no effect if the user is on or above the 5-Star realm.

" Whoa. Whoa." I cried tears of joy seeing the items.

Though there were only two items, they are something that will be helpful and can be used for a few months. With this, I can have the extra assurance of security with me.

I looked at the experience I have. I have not visited the shop because I was quite busy and thought in the combat assessment I may get some experience defeating the puppets

"Damn". With the experience points I have, I can only buy one thing from here.

I didn't get any experience points from defeating the puppets ,which means it only works on living things and if I knew about it, I would have saved my exp instead of selling the potions.

I am seriously regretting being blinded by my greed and selling the potion though I have got a good sum of money.

A security guard walked with his head down passing through others without looking.

Going inside the boy's bathroom. He went into one of the toilets. Taking out his laptop and connecting a flash drive he called someone.

" Hello, code 789 here. Respond".

"Code 234, how is the situation".

" I have already taken the position and am ready to do it anytime".

"Wait for now. The students are soon going to be exhausted, we are going to strike at that moment."

" Can't we do it know now?"

"No, the leader ordered us to do it in when the test is nearing towards the end. Most of the students would have been exhausted and with the remaining test going on they would be busy and we will strike them when they have least expected it".

" Okay, I am starting the programming sequence and hacking into the puppets control room".

"Once hacked I will control the puppets to create chaos. Next, it will be depended on others. You have to guard me as you know I am powerless"

"Don't worry I have taken my position".
