Rose Vs Stephen

Rose looked at her opponent with a calm expression. There was no trace of panic or fear

The opponent that Rose was fighting now can be said to be her nemesis.

Stephen was able to hear a faint buzzing sound and immediately retracted his shield as he noticed that Rose had fired an arrow after moving to the left.

But his reaction was quite late and before he can adjust his position and defend himself with the shield.

The arrow brushed past his thigh and a deep cut appeared on his thigh and blood trickled down from his wound.

Stephen's expression crumbled as he looked at Ros with a hateful gaze.

He took out his sword from the storage and was about to dash towards Rose but Rose jumped back and fired many slingshots.

Stephen thought that he just needed to close the distance and then the game was over so gripping his shield tightly he moved forward even after being hit by blows after blows.

Stephen felt a strong vibration in his arm and like an avalanche crashing down on him, he was struck with huge force and was blasted away along with the shield but Stephen gritted his teeth to endure the blow and his body slid down on the arena till the end forming a huge fissure.

He spat some blood on the ground and looked at Rose who even hadn't a hair out of place.

He knew Rose went easy on him and didn't launch with full force but in truth, Rose just is calculated and thought that this much strength was enough to knock him down the stage.

Seeing Rose's gaze, Stephen got up and screamed"It's not over."

Rose frowned as Stephen got up and ran towards him like a madman.

Rose loaded another arrow and she was about to launch it, Stephen stomping on the ground jumped and threw his shield with a burst of power.

The shield shone with an orange huge and rotated at a high velocity coming crashing down on Rose.

Rose didn't shrink back as she felt a powerful burst of pressure coming from the attack and didn't neglect to use her full power.

The air around her started to concentrate on the tip of her arrow and a long narrow vortex appeared from her tip.

As Rose fired the arrow, it shot with a speed that broke the barrier of sound and shot toward the shield.

The ground cracked and long crevices appeared following the arrow, as the arrow rushed toward the spinning shield like a flash.

As the arrow and shield collided.

A huge explosion occurred and like a tsunami shock waves after shockwaves came crashing down with a huge burst of circular pressure radiating out in all directions which pushed Rose towards the side.

Debris and pieces of projectiles flew across the arena which Rose skilfully evaded after stepping across.

As the huge pressure was about to subside and smoke and dust were about to settle down.

Tearing the dust, a figure appeared and slashed his sword at Rose.

All the crowd who were watching the match thought that it was going to be over for Rose as she was an archer and just like any other archer, she must be useless in hand to hand fighting or in close combat range.

But those who thought this were surprised at the next instant as they looked at the stage with awe and admiration.

Sparks flew as two metals collided each emitting a subtle clanging sound.

Stephen's eyes narrowed as Rose defended his surprise attack with the middle part of the bow.

But this was just starting as within the next instant, Rose pulled the end of the bow and it split apart and the middle of the bow broke and two huge dagger-shaped blades with a sharp edge that looked like a machete with the strings attached at the end which seemed to be quite flexible.

BANG!

Rose took the opportunity of the opening that was created after Stephen was shocked and kicked him.

Unfortunately, Stephen was able to react in time and raised his hand to block it still, but he was pushed back.

As soon as he landed on his feet, Rose dashed towards him and slashed.

Stephen raised his sword and swing it to defend it.

Rose threw the other end of the blade by pulling the string and as Stephen deflected it and rushed towards Rose to strike, Rose pulled the blade towards her by pulling the extended string.

The blade that was blasted away by Stephen was pulled back and flew towards Stephen.

His eyes narrowed and he bent his head to avoid the incoming attack and arrived before Ros to deliver a horizontal slash at her.

CLANG!

Rose raised her two blades and defended the strike and Stephen was about to pull his sword towards him and retreat.

Rose pulled the string of the blades while pulling it to extend the string and threw it at Stephen by making a big loop and wrapping Stephen's hand around it to make a hook strap.

"What!" Stephen blurted out in panic as he felt the strength of the string binding him and tried to free himself by pulling his hand but Rose's grip became tighter.

Stephen raised his left hand and thought about giving a punch.

There was no hesitation in his eyes nor did he care about punching a girl's face who was considered a goddess among her peers and clenching his fist, throwing a punch at Rose.

But Rose just tilted her hand and ran around him, jumped on his back and pulled the strings longer and wrapped it around his neck.

Rose locked her legs around his other arm and pulled Stephen down onto the floor and pinned him on the ground and pulled both the blade toward her.

After locking Stephen's movements he asked him to give up but Stephen struggled and refused to yield.

His muscle bulged and contracted as he tried to squeeze all his strength from the muscle and tried to overpower Rose thinking that he was superior to her in terms of strength.

Rose's gaze became sharper seeing Stephen's stubbornness and taking a deep breath, he pulled the string with all her strength which tightened around Stephen and blood started to trickle down from his arms but seeing this wasn't enough, Rose just picked the blades and slashed at Stephen's eyes.

Stephen panicked and closed his eyes in fear but the blade stopped near his throat and he hear a cold chilling voice which made his body shiver.

"Surrender."

Stephen opened his eyes to see the blade above his and nodded his head and shouted "Surrender...I surrender."

"Your wife is too fierce. Will you be able to handle her after the marriage?" Parth spoke with an awed expression.

"Yeah, I am also thinking about that," Fredrick replied out of instinct but as soon as he realised what he said, he shouted, "Bastard, what do you mean?"

"When did I say, I am going to marry her?" Fredrick shouted and a thick vein bulged on his head.

" Lucas say something. He is going to stay a bachelor like you if he doesn't confess sooner."Parth spoke turning his head.

Thud.

With a small thud, a spoon spell fell on the ground as Lucas's jaw dropped wide opened

He glared at Parth and spoke"Asshole, how did I come on that topic?"
