Small air blades were produced every time I slashed my blade.

I was using the drifting sword to fight.

The monsters were easier for me to kill using flash steps.

So I decided to use them as training dummies to practise my swordsmanship.

Being in the early stage in drifting sword scripture the air current produced by me was only able to give small cuts to the monster.

Vertical slash... horizontal slash.... right slash...

I was humming the types of slashes as songs as I was seriously bored to fight them. If anyone would see me he will surely think of me as a mental patient.

Thinking that I have played enough, I decided to end the fight.

The Head of the monster rolled down.

I checked my experience. I have 11,510 experience points.

These peak level G ranked monsters give me around 2500 experience.

Not wasting any time I opened the status window.

I went to the skills tab in the shop and clicked on the mana breath.

[Mana breath]

Mana allows you to purify the mana you breathe and absorb giving a higher quality of mana. When your Mana is exhausted, your recovery of Mana increase with each breath one take.

I clicked on the mana breathe. My exp points went back to 1510.

"Here goes my hard-earned exp".

A book appeared in my mind about the technique of mana breath. A heavy pain assaulted my mind.

Arghhh

"Just why does this happen every time I buy skill".I leaned on the tree holding my head.

Panting heavily I stood up after the pain left my mind.

There was an hour left for the test to finish.

The time to trap Fredrick was about to come.

I should hurry, I have already killed three monsters.

I shouldn't worry about the results.

No one gonna be expelled or tortured if they were not able to kill.

But if I killed more they sure gonna look for me for more info.

Most of the students would stop after killing 2 monsters.

Fredrick must have already killed 8-10 monsters.

"If there was no tracking device I was gonna feast on the monsters for exp".

" Still I don't have to be greedy for exp after all I was set to go real dungeon after joining skies".

Shaking my head I looked a the sky and thought

"They must have met already".

Fredrick and Parth were walking in the forest like they were taking strolls in the garden.

Every time they encountered a beast, it was sent to hell just in minutes.

With Parth agility and Fredrick being the strongest in the dungeon nothing pose any difficulties to them.

"Halt, I feel someone coming towards us".

" Who" Parth was surprised by Fredrick perceptions cause he still can't sense anything wrong.

He deserves to be strongest in the first year.

Parth thought inwardly holding the daggers in his hand.

Boom suddenly a man with a mask covering his face appeared before them jumping from the tree.

Fredrick feeling the threat has already taken a defensive stance but the man raised his hand to surrender.

"I am the second year I need help".

" What"Fredrick was surprised. A situation where a second-year needed his help sounds fishy.

"I found a 4 Star beast nearby. It was too much for me to take on alone so I am asking for support from you".

Fredrick thought may it's a trap but still, I should hear out first.

" Why don't you ask another second year".

"I can't, we were ordered to guard the 1st year. I don't even know where are they. If it was anyone other than you I wouldn't have asked. But you have enough strength to back me up".

Fredrick was in deep thought. Fighting a 4-star monster was difficult for him but if it was left alone he don't know how many will be sacrificed.

"Ok I will help you. Let's go".

" Wait I am also going "Parth was ready to help.

" No you can't you are just 2 Star, You are gonna drag us down ".

" Yes, you can search for the second year and ask them for help".

Parth agreed to nod his head.

Fredrick and the boy sped up.

Parth was somehow feeling uneasy seeing their back which gradually disappeared from the eyesight.

"Where is the cave"

Up ahead.

The second-year led Fredrick to take the cave.

The cave mouth was narrow.

The second-year entered the cave first with the torch.

"I am going first follow me closely".

Fredrick followed the second year closely.

Reaching deep inside, the cave was dark almost inhabitable.

When they reached inside the second year switched off the torch and hit Fredrick forehead.

Boom

Fredrick flew and smashed to the wall at the side.

The rock fell on him.

" Hehee".

"I have done my duty, It's time for reward".

The second-year stood at the entrance and with a huge blast, the entire cave was closed with rocks.

The second-year was quite happy doing his job.

He turned around to leave.

Boom

A huge fireball out of nowhere struck him.

He covered his body with mana to defend but still, the hot flame gave him serious burns with his mask and half of the clothes covering his upper body was burnt.

Hiding his face he decided to flee from the cave too far away.

Lucas after casting the fireball, activating the flash step escaped from the place without glancing back.

'He must have been hiding nearby looking for the attacker. '

The moment he will notice me, I don't know what he or the people behind him will do with me. The fireball I have cast was the strongest I could cast.

It was enough to kill a 1Star and injured a 2 Star beast but I have to use seven-tenths of my mana.

Lucas plan was simple he attacked just to get a look at the face of the culprit cause in the story neither his name nor anything was written.

After doing his job Charles faction took care of the matter and he was killed on his way back to the house before anyone could notice.

I could have prevented it but as Fredrick life was not in danger I decided not to interfere with too much.

Even if Parth wouldn't find it. The academy will surely send someone to look out for missing people.

My goal was simply to give information to Fredrick about him.

The next step of my plan is to help Parth.

Parth will be the right hand of Fredrick in the future. Aside from the outstanding combat ability and situation awareness that he always shows, He is the heir of the secret society of shadows.

A clan that has many trained assassins. Their job is to protect them from the shadows and to collect secret information for the king.

They occupy an important position in the king forces.

Parth after wandering around and waiting for Fredrick will feel something is wrong so he is searching for allies to help.

While searching for the allies, he will come across Rose with much difficulty he will finally be able to make Rose believe in his words.

Both he and Rose will rescue Fredrick from the cave.

I will just speed up the process to help Parth reach Rose before the time.

Fredrick is trapped in the northern part.

Rose must be fighting in the North-Eastern part and Parth must be on his way to the north-east part of the forest

In the cave filled with darkness.

Fredrick regained his consciousness slowly opening his eyes.

The darkness was too much to notice anything. There were just small rays of light coming from the entrance that was closed.

"Shit that bastard closed my way out".

Fredrick assessed his body for damages. Blood was

coming from his head where he got hit.

His body was good except for damage to his head.

In the test, you are not allowed to bring a potion or medical health kit as the test will be training in which you have to only depend on yourself for the time that was given.

Fredrick was boiling with anger about getting hit.

The world is cruel. He even didn't know the second year still he was attacked badly by him.

"Just who is the one behind it".

Fredrick has not let his guard down cause he thought the one who will stab him will be Parth due to his weird behaviour also one of the reasons he didn't bring him here with them.

He never thought in his wildest dream that a second year has been set to harm him.

"But in this vast forest how did he find me".Fredrick thought.

Tracker, there must be a tracker somewhere but where.

"Ahh, it must be on the devices used to count kill".

Clenching his fist Fredrick pledged. He gonna skin that bastard alive if he found him again.

No, he will find him even if hidden in hell.

But first, he has to escape from the cave.

He was not much worried about being rescued. The academy will surely search the whole forest if he is not found.

He was just worried about the unknown dangers lurking in the darkness in this cave.

He summoned his artefact evil piercer.
