Lucas knew that his undead was on the losing end so he was firing fireball and ice spikes toward the Death Knight, trying to decrease the death knight's momentum but the death knight's speed was quite superior and was about to each of Lucas's attacks.

As the Death Knight and the Demonic beast came closer to the wall, the Death Knight stomped on the ground and leapt into the air and raised his swords as if aiming directly for Lucas.

The demonic undead opened its mouth and the air rippled around it and was sucked into its mouth as it glowed.

Raising its head, it fired a beam of light toward the undead.

Lucas took the chance and shot many pieces of ice spikes toward him.

The undead sword glowed with a green aura and he slashed his sword at the incoming beam of light.

A green sword arc shot towards the beam and clashed with it, creating a terrifying explosion.

The demonic hand raised his hand, protecting him from the shock waves of the terrifying explosion while the death knight who was closer to the explosion was blown away by the shockwaves and slammed against the wall though it didn't look like it accumulate much damage.

Lucas looked at the crack in the wall that occurred due to the dead knight slamming against the wall and thought of a plan.

"Go" Lucas shouted and the demonic undead as if knowing what Lucas was thinking charged at the Death Knight like a bull.

The Death Knight shook and raised his shield seeing the creature charging at him.

BANG!

Powerful collisions occurred as the body of the demonic undead slammed against the Death Knight and the wall collapsed.

The wall shattered and it was crushed as if a heavy armour vehicle passed through it and smashed it into pieces.

The mad charge of demonic undead didn't stop there and it carried the death knight along with it with a loud bellowing.

After crushing the room, they were now in another dark, empty room which was devoid of any light.

Lucas didn't know where they were. Except for the dim rays of light from trying broken walls, only the flames burning in the eyeball socket of the undead provided him with some vision.

Lucas ordered his undead to hold the Death Knight as he thought of restraining the Death Knight's movements.

Since it was caught in their grasps, he didn't want to let it off easily and let it create more havoc.

Following his command, the demonic undead wrapped his big thick log-like arms around the Death Knight.

The Death tried to fee himself and the demonic undead arms started to crack.

The Death Knight wriggled and thrashed as if trying to get out of the demonic undead hold but no matter how hard it tried it wasn't able to free himself from the tight grasp of the demo ich undead.

If this kept on going, Lucas felt that the demonic hands were going to be ripped.

Lucas started to sweat profusely and racked his brain to finish things. He thought of using skills and throwing ice spikes and fireballs but was unsure whether they could hurt it even from this close.

Lucas looked at the demonic undead in pity and took out a ball and threw it up into the air. He decided to blow away everything with an explosion that even a 5-Star would be turned into ashes with no chance of being alive.

Lucas set the timer for fifteen seconds and dropped it.

The demonic undead opened his mouth and bite it.

Lucas jumped off the demonic undead and using flash steps ran away toward the crushed wall.

He ran away with all his might. Though he was exhausted and all his body ached, he flee as if life was on the line.

Many cracking sounds were emitted from Lucas's bones which seems to have suffered a fracture when the death knight smashed them towards the wall.

After a few seconds, a huge explosion took place and flames started to engulf the whole area coming out of the hole in the wall.

Lucas narrowly escaped the explosion, he still didn't know whether the sacrifice of his summons was worth it or not and whether the death knight was dead or still kicking.

As Lucas came to the main throne room, he saw Wilson had already woken up and was defending against the weak undead minions while Lora was carrying Briana.

All of them look quite feeble.

"It is time to end this."

"Wilson attack the Lich from the front," Lucas shouted, he didn't have any time to explain how he dealt with the undead nor did Wilson and others ask.

Wilson turned back and asked, "What if, the lich had another trick up its sleeve."

"Don't worry, I got it this time. Just attack with everything you have got just like before, I will take care of the rest." Lucas spoke in a confident voice.

Lucas and Wilson first cleared the undead surrounding Lora and Briana and dashed towards the Lich.

The Lich fired magic bullets which Lucas narrowly avoided.

Lucas activated the flash step and used the boots and increased his speed to the early 4-Star which allowed him to dodge many and deflect the ones which he couldn't dodge still many magic bullets passed through his defences and his body started to take damage and his face was full of cuts.

Lucas stood ahead of Wilson and took all the blows while Wilson ran begin while covering his greatsword with the mana.

'I had to make this strike worthwhile, I can't afford to lose this time.'

"Now," Lucas yelled.

Hearing Lucas's words, a silhouette flashed past Lucas and jumped over his head toward the Lich and looked at the Lich with bloodshot eyes.

The surrounding air condensed around Wilson's body and a huge storm set in and a tornado enveloped Wilson's greatsword

The wind whirled around him and carried him towards the Lich and he swung his sword toward the Lich.

The Lich raised his head and muttered something.

Clack...Clack...Clack.

As the huge great descended on the lich, a huge crystal shield appeared before the Lich but this wasn't the end, Wilson felt as if his body had stiffened and the sword descended toward the top of the lich and halted.

Wilson didn't know what happened but he felt his body had been bound by the chain or it may have some kind of stun spell cast by the Lich as he raised his head to look at him

Even though the sword was stopped in the mid of the attack, the momentum carried by the sword didn't stop and a mighty pressure fell on the diamond-like shield.

BANG!

With a loud sound, that shook the earth, several meters around the platform rumbled and fine cracks that stretched for nearly ten meters in length appeared, as a huge storm of wind bore down the diamond-shaped shield which started to break a little.

BOOM!

At the same time, the throne and platform both dug deeper into the ground and many cracks appeared in the throne and looked as if it was about to break and crumble into pieces.

Wilson felt a hit in the gut and was sent flying back crashing against the ground.

Wilson gritted his teeth in anger as he was unable to do his part and he failed twice and was blasted off in the same manner.

His hand's arms trembled as he tried to get up and he was exhausted. His body had been worn down, he was feeling both hungry and thirsty. He felt that he didn't even strength to talk.

The undead didn't want to give leeway and rushed toward Wilson. Wilson tried to lift his sword but didn't have an ounce of strength left to move the sword and carry it.

Briana and Lora felt that everything was over and felt as if their world was crumbling apart as they saw Wilson unable to break through Lich's defence.

They looked at the students whose bodies were lifeless and were lying near the altar and felt that they were going to suffer the same faith but just they were despairing,

The army of undead whose movement had slowed down previously due to Lucas and Wilson charging at Lucas started to attack again.

In truth, the Lich dispersed the half army of undead to focus on its defence and defend himself that's why the army didn't attack when Wilson was about to strike.

As the army got closer to Briana and Lora and was about to attack, they a saw huge crimson colour beam flash behind the throne.

The beam of the slash tore the air and collided with the walls and the arc extended up to the ceiling of the room cutting everything it touched.

Following the crimson slash, everything became silent, no one was able to react and figure out what happened in an instant.

The army of undead that was slowly making their way disappeared leaving behind dark purple fumes followed by the throne which split and the upper part of the throne slanted off and sliding down, fell to the ground.

The Lich's body was cut diagonally and the burning skull along with some ribs fall on the platform with a thud and the burning flames extinguished.

The throne that was cut started to burn with crimson flames along with the lower body of the lich that still sat on the throne while the upper body was sliced.

As the throne and Lich's body fell, they saw Lucas panting heavily standing holding the sword which was still glowing and emitting a crimson aura, he looked at Wilson and his eyes glowed as he spoke.

"I told you, I got this."

"We won."
