The pressure from the punch thundered across the whole area as small ripple-like shock waves were created by the impact.

The ground on which Lucas stood cracked and his foot sunk a little.

Wilson's strength was was at the early of 3-Star but the strength he was displaying was that of mid-3-Star.

Still, Lucas didn't lose, Lucas after adding stat points to his strengths, his strength surpasses that of an early 3-Star.

Lightening started to accumulate in his fist and contacting the muscles of his arm a little, he increased the strength of the punch.

With the help of a lightning blast, Wilson was pushed back and Lucas within an instant twisted his arm and gripped the wrist Wilson threw an upper jab towards Wilson who was unable to react to Lucas's speed and flew across the air and slammed on the ground but he quickly stood up and dashed at Lucas again.

Lucas heard Briana's words about Wilson acting weird. Lucas thought about it and covered the nether aura around him for a moment and felt the same aura coming from Wilson.

"He is being controlled," Lucas muttered.

But he didn't see any ghosts around him or anywhere near the temple so how was he controlled, Lucas fell into deep thought.

Lucas looked around but he didn't have time to ponder about it as Wilson raised his sword and charged like a mad man Lucas.

Lucas parried the attack and read Wilson's movements.

He observed him for any possible anomaly.

Wilson's sword lacked control and he just swung his huge sword with brute force but Lucas with its speed was able to parry it with minimum strength.

As Wilson was unable to get an advantage over his opponents, he started to hear faints whisper again in his ear which commanded him to fight harder.

Lucas's eyes glowed as he saw, a faint wisp wrapping around Wilson and reaching near his ears.

"What was that!" Luca muttered while engaging in deflecting the strikes from Wilson.

Lucas parried his attack and swung his body using the momentum of the clash and kicked Wilson.

"Shit." Lucas cursed.

Though he didn't put much strength into it, he didn't think that this crazy bastard would take the attack head-on and bit his legs.

As blood trickled down his nose, Wilson raised his leg and kicked Lucas.

Lucas flew and slid off the ground covering a few meters.

Lucas's eyeball widened and he spun his body and quickly jumped backwards using his hands.

The ground cracked a little like Wilson swung his sword at the spot Lucas was before but it missed.

Lucas and Wilson covered the room as they engaged in a sword fight.

Shockwaves after shockwaves were created and the area started to shake as the battle became more intensified.

Briana watched the scene with mixed feelings of worry, shock, and happiness.

At first, he was worried about Lucas being defeated easily but seeing him going head to head with Wilson without losing his grounds, she was astonished and seeing Lucas countering Wilson's every move, she thought, they may have a chance.

Still, she doesn't want to watch like a spectator.

"Lucas let us help you," Briana shouted.

"No," Lucas shouted.

Briana flinched on hearing Lucas's cold shout.

"Don't waste time here, search for the crystals in the meantime, let me handle him," Lucas spoke.

Briana and Lora looked at each other for a moment after hearing Lucas's words and nodded.

As both of them left to search for crystal, Lucas looked at Wilson.

Lucas attacked fiercely and thrust his sword which shot like a beam of light.

Wilson's eyeball shrank and he raised his sword to defend.

Wilson's sword was struck hard and was sent flying again towards the wall while Wilson staggered and took a few steps back, taking the opportunity Lucas's figure blurred and appeared directly behind him and raising his fist, he punched.

Lucas's clenched his fist and his punch shot like a whip and struck Wilson's face.

BANG!

Wilson's face was struck hard and he flew back with blood gushing from his nose and spurting blood from his mouth.

Wilson's body slammed against the ground, sliding onto the floor for a few meters, it collided with the wall on the other side and he was knocked unconscious.

Lucas dashed ahead and raised his sword, covered in undead mana from the Ring of Karkarass, he cut the-wisp.

Lucas's brows furrowed as he looked at Wilson's body and thought why wasn't being eliminated.

Wilson blinked his eyes and opened them to find himself in a wide spacious area with blood dripping down his nose.

He saw a blurred image of a boy standing beside him holding a sword, staring at him with his sharp gaze.

"Shit!", Wilson cursed aloud and rolled back and stood up and searched his weapons but staggered in his steps as he felt a sudden pain assaulting his head.

He held his head and shook his head.

" Hey! Are you alright?"Lucas asked in a worried tone. He wanted to ask Wilson about something so he first tried to get this over with talk.

"Yeah, Except for some minor headache, I am fine," Wilson replied but stopped in mid of his tracks and looked at Lucas with a questioning gaze and asked, "Who are you?"

"Lucas, the guy whom you tried to attack?" Lucas replied nonchalantly.

"What! Are you sure it's not the opposite after all I am the one who is hurt..." Wilson stopped in mid of his speech as he remembered what happened.

Lucas looked at Wilson who was giving a shocked expression and asked"Do you remember now? You are attacking like a madman? Have you got anything to say?"

Wilson rubbed his forehead and contemplated for a moment and spoke"I know, you may not believe me but what I am telling you is the truth. Though I am a fighting maniac, I am not the one to lose myself like this. Moreover, this all started, when I heard a faint voice telling me to destroy and kill everyone."

Lucas frowned on hearing his eyebrows.

"Hush" Lucas sighed, taking a deep breath.

He is sure that now they are in trouble.

Lucas furrowed his brows as he looked at Briana and Lora but found that they hadn't returned.

"Hey, Wilson cooperate with me for now. I think we are trouble." Lucas spoke.

Wilson heard Lucas's words and nodded his head in agreement.

He wanted to find that bastard who manipulated him and crush him.

Lucas and Wilson both ran across the hallway of the huge temple and searched for Briana and Lora.

As they moved forward, they heard the faint noise of an explosion. At first, Lucas thought, he might be hallucinating but the sound becomes louder and louder as they moved forward.

Lucas and Wilson halted before a huge door which led to an unknown room.

Hesitating for a second both looked at each other for confirmation.

Before coming, here the projection will show you a glimpse of the path in a haphazard manner where the crystal is placed.

"Is this it?" Wilson asked.

"Hmm, As far as I remember, this should be it," Lucas confirmed and both of them stepped into the room.

The room looked like a boss room.

The huge door opened as they walked towards it and closed. Lucas's eyeball shrank at the scene, he saw.

Wilson raised his sword assuming a fighting stance cause they were in trouble.

Inside a room, there is a huge throne on which a skeleton body was placed whose face was burning with purple flames.

Beside him was the altar where many bodies of students were laid and the whole room was filled with an army of skeletons with Briana and Lora, engaging with them.

Briana and Lora look at the person who entered and sighed in relief as they saw, Lucas and Wilson entering it.

Both of them ran towards the duo. Reaching close, Briana gazed at Wilson with wary eyes and asked"Is he airtight?"

"Yes, he has been controlled before but now he is freed," Lucas spoke and asked Briana about the situation.

Briana explained that the room was quiet when they entered and saw a skeleton wearing the mage clothes sitting on the throne.

He seems to be locked with chains and many chains were wrapped around his body that perhaps prevented him from escaping the place.

The crystal was on the altars beside him.

So, they walked past it without any danger but as they were about to touch, it the skeleton seemed to be awake and his skull started to burn with purple flames and his eyes glowed.

He muttered some chants and soon many skeletons or undead started to crawl from the ground and started to attack them.

No matter, how many we take out, their number never seems to decrease.

As Lucas heard Briana's words, his expression turned solemn whereas Wilson shouted in panic as he glanced at the skeleton and said"Dont tell me it's a lich."

Hearing Wilson's words, Briana and Lora's hair stood up in fear.

Lucas around the huge army of undead coming towards their way, walking slowly and steadily as if they have all the time they have to catch the prey.

"Since they are undead, the only way to kill them is to destroy the lich," Lucas spoke with a grim expression.

Briana nodded in confirmation and spoke"The lich seemed to bind by the powerful chains. Although I am not sure about the ranks, I feel that he can't use strong magic attacks since he hadn't made a move except summoning the undead."
