The Extra's Survival Chapter 132

The people on top of Lucas screamed in horror and tried to get up on their feet.

Lucas tried to stand up and help the people who were piling on top of him and looked at the centre of the explosion after getting up.

The people who were nearer to the explosion were blasted off and some of the unlucky ones that were nearer to the noble stand were caught up by the flames of the explosion and instantly died while many people were burned by the flames of the explosion.

Those near Lucas had some minor bruises and scratches and the weaker ones had some internal injury but at least they were alive.

Lucas's eyes widened and his heart turned bitter and clenching his fist, he punched the ground in anger.

Unknowingly, a pent up frustration swelled inside him as if he was the one who had suffered.

"Whyyy!!" Lucas muttered as he remembered, he had asked the Princess to handle the crowd and form a wide space in between the perimeter, separating the normal people and nobles stand so that they won't caught up in the aftermath.

The magic circle the knights used along with the formation to form a barrier to shield and protect the noble but the normal people still died in the process.

In a way, normal people were still the victims.

Lucas knew, no one could be blamed and the space was sufficiently maintained but controlling the huge crowd was nearly impossible and even finding out each member of Villain society was nearly impossible still seeing hundreds not thousands of people dying made his heartache and there is still more to come.

And more are going to die too, cause the Villain Society had already sent 9-Star to handle the stronger ones present out there while the goons and underlying will just cause the explosions and run away tugging ther tails.

The black-robed people who were just hovering in the air cursed, seeing their first attempt being unsuccessful as no nobles were harmed now.

"Tsk. You Imperial dogs surely know how to protect your master." One of the men spoke clicking his tongue.

"But what will you do when the explosion took place inside the barrier which you had performed."

"It's going to be fun to watch that."

"Hahaha hahaha."

With this, all of them laughed and mocked the knights calling them dogs and following their voices.

BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!

Another set of explosions took place inside the barrier which the imperial knight had performed.

The people screamed and these bellows echoed throughout the Plaza of Honour as they saw a crazy explosion take place which shook the entire Plaza of Honour.

The huge smoke covered inside the smoke which made everything inside invisible.

They looked at the scene with horrified expressions as if all their hopes of living were crushed, leaving behind the agony of death that was going to haunt them forever.

They don't know the reason for the emergence of black-robed people or their goals but they were sure about one thing.

If the nobles and knights died, these people gonna kill them horribly and the ones remaining alive will be sold as slaves.

The entire crowd seemed to be frozen.No one able to move and everyone felt strength leaving thier legs.

The knights and guards who were outside screamed at the top of their lungs and shouted"All of your escape. Don't worry about the nobles."

The Knights' voice snapped them out of their stupor and their despair, as they regained their senses, they saw the knights covering them up and making a path from them to retreat.

"Get out of this place, this instant!"One of the Knight roared as he dashed towards the black-robed men who were among the crowd and threw the bomb.

The situation suddenly became chaotic as the people started to run frantically.

Lucas heard the voices of the knights nearby and looked towards the man who appeared on the top of the watchtower.

" This is going to be fun."The man spoke.

A chilling voice echoed throughout the plaza as the man shot a streak of blue light across the different spots in the plaza which were followed by the vibration in the ground and the deafening roar of the bomb blasting through the plaza.

Lucas looked at the black-robed people who were among the crowd and have fully exposed themselves.

Lucas unsheated his swords and began making his way when he heard their sinister voice.

"Hey, don't kill the beauties. We can feast on them."

"Yeah, they will be our spoils."

"The tender and delicate soft skin of the noble beauties..." One of them spoke licking his lips.

"We can even get the Princess. The number one beauty of this Kingdom. Also, don't forget Josephine and the other girls. Along with other nobles, we will make them slaves after we take one of the kingdoms."

The members chatted among themselves as they ran towards the barrier.

"Don't waste your time. You will get time for that. And yeah, see if you can find the Princess in one piece we can use her well later on." The 9-Star man spoke with a sinister expression

As they chatted as if their victories were guaranteed, the 9-Star warrior felt a faint killing intent coming from the crowd and he tilted his head in the direction to search for the person.

Unable to find any traces, he muttered"Hmm did I just have an illusion."

Lucas used shadow steps to hide as he panted heavily.

"I was just an inch away from death," Lucas muttered.

Lucas looked again at the members of the villain society and changed his mind about engaging now.

"If you are thinking that you got the Kings and nobles in the blast, you are mistaken," Lucas spoke in an angered tone, staring at the members of Villain Society.

The 9-Star warrior who was laughing and enjoying their success suddenly felt a premonition of danger and moved his body to dodge but he was a second late.

A huge hand of ice appeared out of thin air and gripped his entire body.

The other two 9-Stars jumped in fright and jumped in the opposite direction to avoid the blow.

The man who has been trapped in the huge shackles of the hand tried to free himself, but he felt that the ice hand was as hard as a diamond and an enormous amount of mana is used to lock him down.

As his face became pale, as if he's lost its colour, a heavy voice rang like thunder in his years.

"You scums of Villain Society surely have grown wings and dare to run amok in front of this king."A heavy voice resounded in the plaza.

"Since you have come, why don't you experience my Kingdom's courtesy and stay here for a bit."The King spoke with a heavy tone that sent a chill down the spine.

The smoke and fog that was inside the barrier disappeared, leaving behind the King who was standing at the three 9-Star hovering in the air, with hollow lifeless eyes which look as if he will devour the whole world.

The members of the Villain Society looked at the nobles standing with their eyes widened with horror unable to believe what happened and how it happened.

Not a single hair of nobles was in disarray, they were in their full glory with not a single taint or stain of explosion.

Their clothes and dresses were as clean as when they entered the stand.

There was not even a single sign of an explosion inside the stand nor was there any destruction, flames or formation of a crater.

The members of the Villain Society seeing the scenes with their eyes, felt as if their eyes will be pooped out from their sockets.

"How...How is that possible. We have meticulously planned for months, we have planted many bombs on the ground and the Plaza, so how are you all fine and did your plan leak...How...How?" The 9-Star warrior who has been caught by the ice hand roared madly and his frightened cry made everyone scared.

"Hahahahah." The King laughed as his red eyes glowed wildly.

"You haven't expected this. Our Kingdom intelligence had already known about it from before and they have already dismantled the bomb and replaced it with fake bombs that only give sound and smoke at the explosion." The King grinned and further added"Creating an illusion that the bomb exploded we have already captured many of the spies which the Villain Society planted. This is all because of the heroic spirits and bravery of my Knights."

Lucas's lips twitched uncontrollably on hearing the King's speech.

''Heroic spirits and bravery of Knights.My ass. It was I, who had informed you of the forthcoming dangers and you are glorifying your knights. If not for my kind intentions not only thousands of citizens would be lost, but many lower house nobles would have also died." Lucas muttered in a dissatisfied tone.

As he spoke, suddenly a memory flashed in his eyes in which the plaza of Honour was burning with flames all around and corpses of people scattered all-round that were burned in flames and the whole plaza was soaked in blood

Amongst the pile of corpses, Lucas's body lay in blood flowing out of his body that dyed the ground.

He was lying with half of his body burning and barely able to maintain his consciousness.

As he thought, he was about to die, he suddenly felt flakes of snow falling on him as a sudden figure appeared beside her.

"Ahhhh," Lucas screamed as he held his head due to the incoming headache that assaulted him with the sudden influx of information.

"So is this what happened with my previous self," Lucas spoke gritting his teeth.

"I think, I should move out of here" Lucas spoke as he turned back to leave the Plaza.

Each step, Lucas steps the surrounding people felt, a sense of eerie feeling from him and pressure that emitted from him, made him feel as if a demon had woken up from his deep slumber.
