Lucas shuddered as he remembered all the things that had happened between him and her previously during the fight.

'She will not kill me at the least. I hope.'

Lucas looked at the door to find the Princess standing there.

She wore a white plain T-Shirt with a blue skirt of half knee-length and her long slender legs were covered by beautiful stockings, giving her an ethereal look.

'Why did, she come here dressed like this?'Lucas thought.

Though he had just woken up, he found it quite peculiar seeing Princess dressing quite casual.

She always used to be in a battle suit or her official attire of the President till night.

"Hello, Your Highness."Lucas greeted.

"How may this humble servant help you?" Lucas spoke giving a gentle smile masking his inner turbulent heart.

"Ohhh!Humble servant. As far as I remember this humble servant was quite daring on the battlefield," Julian spoke looking at Lucas coldly with a sharp piercing gaze.

Lucas averted her gaze and looked around the room and spoke"This room is quite good."

"Lucas cut the crap." Julian spoke raising her hand and further added"You have seriously scared the shit out of me. Do you know how worried I..everyone was? Fredrick and others had taken the whole infirmary above their head."

Lucas blinked a couple of times and thought he heard something wrong.

'Was he was about to say that she was worried about me or I misheard.'

"Sorry." Lucas smiled bitterly while thinking inwardly 'Wasn't I just unconscious for a few days.'

"Princess, I am totally fine. I was just out for a day due to exhaustion. There is nothing to be worried about."Lucas spoke.

Julian frowned and her expression became solemn as she looked at Lucas with a gaze full of worry and concern.

"Lucas do you remember the date on which you all went for the expedition," Julian asked raising her brows.

"Hmm.Yeah."

"It was on October 2nd," Lucas spoke scratching his head.

"Do you know today is October 29," Julian spoke in a heavy tone.

Lucas's eyeball widened and his eyes almost popped out of his sockets on hearing the date.

"What!!."Lucas shrieked

"I.....I was almost out for a month." Lucas panicked and held his head.

He was about to jump out of bed and almost pulled his hair in despair.

One month is neither too much nor too less. While he has been lying here and wasting time, others may have trained hard and improved by leaps and bounds.

But that was not what he was most worried about.

The thing which he was anxious about was that within a week from now, there would be a grand parade along with a huge ceremony which will be held in Plaza of Glory.

This is a trademark of Cyrus Kingdom and the parade that will follow will mark the beginning of the Inter-Academy battle which is of utmost importance for Lucas.

It was also one of the most important parts of the novel as it will be a huge face-off for a selection.

Being in a coma for a month, wouldn't only bring down his performance but will also affect his preparation time.

"Goddammit. It felt like it was just yesterday, I was fighting and now I am here..." Lucas muttered as his eyes turned lifeless.

Julian looked at Lucas's outburst of emotions but she just let him vent it.

Lucas finally calmed after taking a deep breath and looked at Julian and asked"What had happened to me and where am I."

Julian stared at Lucas and spoke"After you killed the dragon by forcibly increasing your strength, your body was on the verge of collapsing as it wasn't able to handle the huge amount of mana and your body started to crack. You looked like you will crack at any moment from now."

"It was fortunate that Luna was with us. She used her divine blessing and healing to cure you but even after the blessing, we found that you have suffered small damage to your soul. That's why you have been unconscious for days. The priest from the temple said it will take around 25-30 days for your soul to heal naturally. So, I brought you to the exclusive infirmary room attached to the President's villa."

"Moreover, the classes had been suspended for all years as they are now given time to prepare and now they are training hard for the Inter-Academy Battle."

Lucas nodded as he carefully thought about the things the princess said.

He assumed that it was due to his other self-manifestation that his soul was damaged as he was unable to endure his frightening strength.

'Just what realm was he?'

From the way he was talking, Lucas was sure his previous self had reached a realm far beyond 9-Star.

'10-Star or was it beyond 10-Star. Just how strong was he that he was able to send a system and a remnant soul of his, back in time.'

'Haa. It's getting complicated.'Lucas muttered inwardly.

'So that's why she is in casual clothes.'Lucas sighed as he thought about it. While Others had been training hard, he was wasting time lying there.

"Your Highness, thank you for taking care of me when I was out," Lucas spoke with a sincere expression.

"It's okay." Julian waved her hand.

"Now that we have exchanged enough pleasantries. Let's have the real talk." Julian spoke as she walked towards Lucas's bed and pulling a chair sat on it folding her legs.

Lucas's breathing became heavy as she saw Princess sitting quite close to him.

Julian looked at him with her cold red ruby-like eyes that reek of chillness and asked"What happened out there. How did you suddenly get so strong? Did you use any forbidden technique or something and what was that killing intent? It felt as if you have slaughtered thousand of...no millions of lives."

Julian spoke as the memory of that day flashed before her eyes. She shuddered a little as she remembered the murderous aura. Lucas entire bloody reeked of blood and with each took he step, she felt as if a river of corpses were formed behind him.

"Princess, you are wrong that wasn't my doing," Lucas shook his head trying to deny her claims.

"Than, you want to say someone else occupied your body and killed the dragon," Julian spoke sternly.

"Yes...I mean no. Hein!!" Lucas's swallowed his saliva as she heard the princess's words.

'How did she know someone else occupied me. Wait, don't tell me she is also a regressor. It's possible. I remembered the look she was giving me when my other self possess me.'

Lucas looked at her as sweat dripped from his forehead.

"So if it's not even that, how did you get stronger?" Julian asked.

"Before, I can answer. Can you please tell me where are my things?" Lucas asked.

"Your things. I have it with me but why?"

"Princess please give me, my ring. The answer to your questions lies there." Lucas answered.

Julian nodded and took out a storage ring and hand it over to Lucas.

Lucas peeked inside the ring and found that each of his things was there along with his sword and the dragon-slaying blade.

Lucas put the storage ring aside and pull out a red coloured blade dagger which was longer than the commonly used daggers under her curious gaze.

Julian looked at the red coloured dagger and thought back to the scene where it was glowing brightly with a crimson glow and it was the weapon Lucas used to kill the dragon.

As she recalled the scene, she also remembered the huge majestic figure formed behind Lucas's back as he held the dagger.

"Princess, I think the unusual event that had occurred had something to do with this dagger," Lucas spoke as he handed it to Julian to touch it.

Julian's brows furrowed as she held the dagger which was blunt without a hint of sharpness.

"How did the dagger allow you to do that?" Julian asked with a doubtful gaze.

"I am not sure about that, as I have only faint memories about it. When the dragon roared and used dragon fear and as I was about to lose my consciousness, I felt as if the dagger was talking to me and it said if I just accept it, it will help me kill it."Lucas spoke.

The entire room turned silent and Julian's jaw was wide open as he heard Lucas's explanation.

Lucas looked at her and further added" As far as I remember the blade is made of dragon's bone and it is used to be a dragon-slaying sword but after countless years this is what is left of it. The reason why Miss Ami and you weren't able to defeat it, was that your attacks weren't strong enough to destroy the dragon's scale but with the dagger, it was just an easy job."

Julian gulped and her hand trembled as she looked at the dagger. Anything that comes from the dragon is priceless and previously the dragon remains just dissipated as Lucas killed it but now she held a genuine piece of the dragon.

"Lucas, can you use it again?" Julian asked.

"I don't know. I think it has an ego of its own and we were fortunate enough that it reacted, as it sensed the dragon's presence."

Although Lucas lied and made up some things, he wasn't lying about this one as he can recall the scene where the dagger was reacting and glowed red.

"By the way, Princess how many people saw these scenes," Lucas asked in a trembling voice.

"Don't worry. Not many have seen it. Most of them had already passed out. Except for me, Luna and Ami only Hugo of Warren knight nobody else saw the scene but all have vowed and bound by mana contract not to speak about it without our permission."Julian spoke.

Lucas sighed in relief as his worry was unfound still these three witnessing him were enough to give him a headache.

Seeing Lucas sighing, Julian spoke," It's not over."

"Hein," Lucas asked.

"I still want to know about that." Julian blushed a little as she recalled the scene.

"About what," Lucas asked in confusion.

"About what you did, to get rid of my chill attacks.Dumbo." Julian spoke in a soft cute voice and pouted as it was too embarrassing for her to speak aloud as she thought of the scene of Lucas's holding her waist and the shoulder.

"Ohhhh!!That." Lucas smiled bitterly and just gave a simple explanation that he had learnt the same trick and researched about her chill attack.

He got the idea after witnessing the method where people used to feel others' mana channels and inspect them. He just added a little fire element to the mana flow while making a mana circulation.

Lucas didn't elaborate anything for now and promised her that he will tell her everything in future as his ideas were still in the rudimentary phase and it was lucky that the method worked out.
