The Extra's Survival Chapter 101

The two finished their meals. They only ate a little bit from each type of food from the stalls to taste as much as they could but small portions soon piled up and their stomachs became full.

"Do you want to eat more?" Frederick asked as he was surprised by Rose's eating habits. Going by her figure, she doesn't look like the one who eats so much.

"I am fine," Rose spoke. Her voice sounded more relaxed than before after having such a satisfying lunch.

"Good, erm let's move to a different location, "Fredrick spoke.

"Where are we going," Rose asked curiously.

"We are going to buy some clothes," Fredrick answered casually.

"Clothes but why?" Rose asked with a hint of excitement. She didn't know why he wanted to buy clothes now.

"We will be staying here for a few days. We have not brought many clothes for things like this. So, we should buy some clothes." Fredrick answered rubbing his chin.

Rose's eyes already started to glow from the moment when she heard the term clothes. Like any other lady, she had quite a soft spot for shopping. But going with Fredrick was a different kind of thing.

Still, she didn't want to miss the chance of going on a shopping spree.

'It's been doing since have gone shopping.'Rose muttered inwardly.

Fredrick led her to a commercial district where all clothes shops were. They were many clothing shops here and Fredrick took Rose to one of them.

Fredrick departed after enjoying his small date with Rose. He chose his next location.

Even though the moon was up in the sky, there were still many shops with their lights on. The shops were bustling with people. It was open to people who couldn't get enough of the city's unrestricted atmosphere and wanted to stay outside enjoying to their heart's content till late at night.

Fredrick glanced around to find the pub Parth had picked for them to enjoy after the stressful days.

When he went inside the pub, though it was full of people but as he looked at the empty seats, he realized that the atmosphere in the pub was quite strange, everyone gathered around at a specific spot looking at some kind of fight that was about to break out.

'It's a fight .'Fredrick's eyes shone brightly. as be muttered 'Who is fighting here?'

He was curious about the fight.

Somebody had said that the best entertainment in the world was fighting and fighting at a place like a pub makes an epic combination. The drinkers enjoy themselves cheering for the fighters with a drink in their hand for them it was a heavenly experience.

Fredrick made his way through the crowd and as he looked at the people who were engaged in verbal abuse, he frowned.

"Why don't you try me, young boy. You have not even gotten out of puberty and you were already spreading your wings at a place like this."

"Tsk. What will happen to the future generation?" The man spoke clicking his tongue.

"Bastard, do you know, who I am? You're gonna wet your pant if know my identity." The one who spokes was Charles and he was fighting with a group of men.

"Pfttttt." Parth who was behind Charles closed his mouth trying to contain his laughter.

"He can't leave his habit of trying to show off his status. Even if you are the son of a duke, it's not as if every person in the kingdom know you personally. Moreover, does he think that there are posters of him, in every city in the kingdom as if he is some celebrity?" Parth spoke as he burst into laughter.

Lucas shook his head.

'Some things never change.'He thought.

Fredrick came to the spot where Lucas and Parth were standing and made a fake cough and muttered slowly enough for them to hear"Did he begin again with his usual way of picking on others?"

"As if." Parth mocked Charles and then spoke"It was not his fault this time. It was that drunkard's fault. He tried to pick a fight with us, especially Charles."

"Why?" Fredrick asked curiously.

"Who knows? Maybe he's not able to tolerate seeing young guys are enjoying while they are working their ass off and struggling to raise money." Parth spoke coolly.

"Don't listen to him. We were just drinking and talking about the expedition when one of them poured a jug of wine on us out of nowhere. We backed down for a bit but Charles lashed out." Lucas explained.

"But why is Charles listening to them without beating them. If going by his usual personality, he would have already thrashed them." Frederick spoke as he observed Charles.

"Even I am thinking about that. Maybe he is observing them first. You know he doesn't dirty his hand and borrows other hands to do the dirty works." Lucas spoke.

"Ohhh!" Both Fredrick and Parth exclaimed at the same time.

"I think we should intervene," Fredrick suggested.

Both Part and Lucas nodded and walked towards Charles.

Parth asked, "Man, why are you all wasting time here instead of enjoying yourselves?"

On hearing Parth's words, one of the men who looked like the leader asked Parth"Who the hell are you twitchy pants?"

"You.."Parth's lips twitched uncontrollably.

" We are his friends," Fredrick answered in an annoyed tone.

The man widened his eyes. But rather than being surprised for real, he exaggeratedly moved his eyes and mocked the four of us"Ohh!!! So you all those greenhorns who trying to talk big trying to show off previously."

"When did we show off?" Lucas asked raising his brows.

"Acting as an innocent now. Weren't you were the one talking about monsters and dungeons stuff."

"Ohh!! man. You pussies, have you ever seen a monster in real life. You might have just seen it on a smartphone. If you see it for real you will wet your pants and cry calling your mama."

The man laughed loudly. The three other men next to him also laughed. The way they looked down on them just because they were kids and were mocking them was quite annoying.

They were trying to get on our nerves. Thinking that we are children, they may have thought it was easy to take on us.

Following their suit, the entire crowd burst into laughter.

"I know those guys."

"They like to harass weakling and bully the new ones."

"Don't you think that they are going too far by bullying the kids?"

"It's exactly because they are kids, they are bullying them. Do you think they have the guts to harass stronger ones?"

"Still, they are quite dangerous, I heard last month they had beaten the shit out of some people."

The crowds muttered among themselves enjoying the show-off between Lucas's gang and those mercenaries looking like bandits.

"Hey, son a bitch stop staring at me like that," The leader spoke as he saw Lucas's gaze.

Lucas didn't speak anymore and his lips widened with a warm bright smile.

Parth and Fredrick who knew what the smile signified, flinched and quickly took a step back leaving Charles who wasn't able to comprehend what caused them to suddenly step back.

It was common for Charles not to know about this. Staying with Lucas, both of them knew that Lucas had developed quite a sadistic personality, when he smiled like this, he is extremely pissed off and his smile indicated one thing, his enemy is going to be doomed. That's why they called it a devil smile.

"Hahaha, look at the brat's smile, he had lost his mind out of fear." One of the men spoke and laughed loudly again.

Lucas was holding some peanuts. Coating it in some mana using telekinesis aimed at his throat and fired it.

Like a bullet, the peanut flew swiftly and hit the throat of the person laughing.

"Hahaha...Cough...Cough."

"Ahhhh."

"Haaa."

The man who was laughing madly was choked suddenly as something hit his throat and was unable to breathe and thrashed around falling onto the floor holding his neck.

He took a deep breath but was unable to draw in air and his throat started to burn in pain.

Veins bulged around his neck as he tried to inhale forcefully but felt that his adam apple had been crushed.

The entire crowd in the pub were stunned and were unable to utter any word as they didn't know what happened in just a short period.

The man who was laughing a moment ago was now on the ground finding it hard to breathe.

"Did he laugh so badly that he choked himself?"

"May he ate something while laughing and it struck in the throat."

The people discussed among themselves at the turn of events

Others may not have noticed it but Charles, Fredeick and Parth clearly showed Lucas shooting a peanut.

'Taking down enemy just with a peanut.'As they realized it they shuddered in fear.

Charles now understood why both Fredrick and Parth's stepped back and he too followed their notion and also took a step back.

"You what did you do," The leader asked Lucas shouting at him.

"You asshole, son of a."Another man beside him spoke but before he could finish his sentence

BANG! BOOM!

The silhouette of the man disappeared from the spot and a big hole appeared on the wall with a loud explosion.

Lucas's figure blurred and he appeared beside the leader and rubbed his chin and spoke" Yeah, what were you saying. Sorry, my hearing is quite bad. So I came near you so that I can hear you properly. Can you speak again?"

The smile on Lucas's face was erased leaving behind a cold and sharp look that sent the chills down the spine

The man looked at the hole that appeared out of nowhere and find his man lying unconscious on the other side of the wall and looked at Lucas again and cursed his luck for messing with these kids.

He felt an overwhelming pressure from the teenage kid before him which froze him in fear.

"Please forgive us. We were just too drunk and spouted some random bullshit."The leader spoke with a trembling voice.

Lucas nodded his head in satisfaction and looked at his group and spoke with a gentle smile"Everything is over, let's leave."

The group shivered to see Lucas's devil smile once again.

As Lucas walked towards the door, the crowd made a path for him and stood at the side not wanting to offend him.

Except for the group of 1-Stars messing with them, there was no awakened one in the bar, so it was usual for them to be unable to discern Lucas's strength.
