The Jiang Chen that she knew is an enduring child. He find him funny as the child totally failed on hiding his real emotion. Even when distressed he would call her many times but won't actually cry out for help. Wei Yi Yi never asked nor get involved. Jiang Chen is not her child to raise. She hated responsibility to add to that.

The sun have yet to raise but the servants are wild awake and alert. They dare not make even the smallest sound while serving the empress.

"Head Eunuch Yuan, you're here." Wei Yi Yi said with death tone the moment Xiao Yuan Xi entered her field of vision.

The way that the empress acknowledged his presence are polar opposite to the way she would always called out for him.

Everyone hold their breath. Even Jiang Chen flinch. Feeling that she's scaring the child, Wei Yi Yi hands him to a maidservant closest to them. The young lady carefully recieved Jiang Chen, afraid to hurt him.

"Empress! Empress please calm your anger! Thi--this servant was only thinking of your well being your majesty! Yesterday event must have frightened your majesty. Compare to that, what happened inside the palace is----" Xiao Yuan Xi was once again cut off.

Wei Yi Yi took care many of Ye Ming and the others girlfriend. And she got rid just as many too.

Those guys would never hit any woman. And while she was raise to be gentle and understanding towards them, she could knock out one or two of those that act like bitches. And she would never let those type of woman touch her boys!

"This servant is begging you! Empress you're not usually like this, please don't do anything that might sully your reputation!" Xiao Yuan Xi said in one breath.

The head eunuch could only silently kowtow as his new found fear towards the empress intensified.

Wei Yi Yi might always gave way towards others. But that just simply because their actions, their desires, and their goals are different from what she deem worthy.

Their paths did not impact her life, she could live greeting them from time to time and proceed to continue her life. Just like acquaintance, or strangers even. Only a fool would insert energy on debating with a person you won't see daily.
