"Xioa Wang Xi, let's go back." Jiang Chen said meekly. He turn around to take another route.

With swift hands, Shen Rou took hold of the fleeting Jiang Chen again. A child as thin as Jiang Chen could not even stuggle as she tug him again. With little force, she lifted Jiang Chen by the collars.

The child cough a few times; his collars being fiercely tug and his lapels choking him.

"Aren't your highness going to apologize?" asked Shen Rou. After putting him down, she then pinch the child. "That's not very cute Prince Chen. It was no wonder your father abandoned you here in the palace."

Jiang Chen felt the woman's nail piercing his skin. The prickling pain it gave cannot compare to the aching words that's being spoken to him. Even so, Jiang Chen refuse to cry.

"Imprudent! You're blatantly disrespecting the prince! Aren't you afraid to be punished?!" Eunuch Wang shouted in his frustration.

"Xiao Wang," Jiang Chen stopped him.

"This servant wonder who is Eunuch Wang going to call?" Shen Rou laughed at this pair of kids. "Please stop threatening this servant." she then said like she's being wrong.

"You're shameless!"

Combing the crowd; he saw how others refuse to help them. Some didn't dare to meet his eyes while others swiftly passed and dare not get involved.

Finally, at the far back, he saw a small eunuch he recognized as someone serving at the Xiang Feng Palace.

"You! Call the head eunuch! Please call him over!" he shouted.

"Xiao Wang Xi!" Jiang Chen angrily stopped his eunuch.

Xiao Wang Xi is just asking to be reprimanded by that dog!

Shen Rou turn around to look at who's Xiao Wang Xi is shouting at. She was about to go over when a fierce voice interrupted them.

"What is this commotion about?"

Imperial Consort Feng then appeared with her entourage of maidservants. She's dress with a white wide sleeves robe embroidered with bright red chrysanthemum. The contrast in color made the stubborn flower vivid and alive.

"Greetings to Imperial Consort Feng." The servants bowed as they give way.

"Greetings Your ladyship. This servant apologized for startling mistress." Walking up to her mistress side with gentle strides, Shen Rou greeted the consort with a tranquil voice.

Seeing her head maid, Feng Lei nodded her head in acknowledgment. She survey the situation; raising her brow at the sight of Jiang Chen and her eyes turning dangerous when she saw her first class maid.

"Shen Ying, what's with this appearance?" with an authoritative voice, Feng Lei demand answers.

With her maid's dirty and disheveled appearance, imperial consort heart burn with anger. As a person who wears her heart on her sleeves, her fierce personality surface for everyone to see.

When she heard her name being called out, Shen Ying tired to hide only to meet Shen Rou's glares. With no other choice, she could only kneel as she helplessly said, "Apologies mistress. I---this servant haven't notice that the little prince is alone and bumped to him while turning at the corner. It was this servants fault."

With all her effort, Shen Ying tried to appeal more as the victim. She push the situation as a matter of neglect on the prince's servant.

"You people obviously did it on purpose! Others saw you!" Eunuch Wang depended himself. He then looked again at the other eunuch only to see he was no longer within the area. Whether he called for the head eunuch or not, Xiao Wang Xi have no idea.

With a face as if trying to mediatethe situation, Shen Rou face Feng Lei. "Imperial nephew got careless while playing and knock down the lotus soup we prepared for you. Mistress, please wait a little bit more as this servant prepare another one."

The more her head maid talked, the more Feng Lei fell injustice for the patient, Shen Rou and her timid maidservant, Shen Ying.

"Xiao Wang Xi! You! How dare you hit him!" Jiang Chen tried to run over to his servant only to be pulled back once again. This time Shen Rou throw him towards the ground, his hands landing in a bad angle.

"Prince Chen, just how are you being raise? Actually calling the imperial consort with 'you'?" Shen Rou mocked him.

When Feng Lei reach for her whip, Jiang Chen desperately jump her. A larger commotion broke out when the Imperial Consort tried to fling the prince.

You must know that despite Imperial Consort Shen being Feng Lei direct rival, she wouldn't dare face head on Feng Lei's eruptive temper.

It was then that Xiao Yuan Xi run over after being called out.
