If there are words that could set out Wei Yi Yi's mood, after 'responsibility', it would be manipulative words such as 'I did it for you' and 'it's for your own good'. 

Those were the favorite words of her mother and the only thing that she remembered from her. At first, she utters such words as if to keep reminding Wei Yi Yi. Later, when Wei Yi Yi stopped her 'daughter' act, those were said while crying. 

You decided on your own and done it alone, in reality, isn't that being selfish. To sugar coating it like that, it's an attempt on making me feel guilty for condemning you, right?

Actually, except for her parents not being there as she grew up, Wei Yi Yi had a family that others could only be envious of. In fact, she had no reason to dislike her parents. Lan Zhuang tried to salvage his sister's broken view. "A parent might not necessary be right but they surely didn't mean to hurt their child. Although it failed, they did what they did with their best judgment."

Wei Yi Yi, with an obedient smile, nodded and agreed. Lan Zhuang turned mute. What more to say, ah?

She vividly remember walking in their living room with shredded paper, written in few pieces stick together were that older brother career plan.

And on the day of the college results, he jumped off their apartment window. He Lian stood on that pool of blood, his shoes turning red, and an irony smell knocking their souls out. 

Gone in a blink of an eye. Gone too soon. Gone because he wasn't as smart as He Lian, because he hid chocolates and gave them to his younger brother, because he made them milk when they were supposed to be asleep, because he couldn't be a model older brother, always lacking and a bad influence to He Lian. Because he was so gentle, born to a family with late stage face paralysis.
