Hearing the voice from outside, Wei Yi Yi curiously sticks out her head thru the open window.

The servant, who has been standing beside Wen Yang since the beginning, stepped forward. Her movement alarmed Wei Yi Yi, and like a thief, Da Xian Empress swiftly dunk her head low to hide.

Following her madame's command, Xia Min approached the servant holding Mao'er. And without any hesitation grabbed the cat by the back of its neck.

"Meooww!!" Mao'er complained. The cat obviously didn't like how she was being treated.

But Xia Min seems to take after her mistress. With a poker face mirroring that of her family's Wangfei, the servant carried the cat like some sort of dirty laundry. Mao'er who was being carried by her skin could only curl up while struggling to wiggle her body in protest.

"Impudent!" Jiang Liu shouted in exasperation.

Even Wei Yi Yi gaped outside the window. Despite trying to fling away Mao'er a few times in the middle of their rumble, suddenly, Wei Yi Yi felt like she was a nicer person.

It was indeed true, that all girls are dolls. Of course, either Barbie or Annabelle. And this one right here is definitely Annabelle.

"Stop right there!" Jiang Liu pointed angrily at Xia Min, which was ignored by the maid. This effectively boiled his blood and the hand he raised trembles. "Good! A lowly servant have enough guts to ignore this prince!"

Running in front of their Wangye, a more outspoken servant raised her voice, "How dare you servants block our Wangye's path! Carrying this uncultured behavior and flaunting them around will only reflect badly on your masters! Restrain your unruliness else your mistress might suffer unjustly accusations!"

Liu Wang Fu's servant was actually smart. Not only they have ways with their words like their Fu's Wangye, they also can scold someone while pretending to be just concern. With but a few words, the servant not only scolded these two servants, she also shamed them on their behavior while indirectly accusing their mistress of improper raising her servants.

To clash against another servant is pulling their Wangye's reputation to mud! How could they allow that?!

Sadly, no matter how fierce Jiang Liu's servant is, or no matter how effective her words are, Xia Li and Xia Jing, these two servants of Cheng Wangfei, remained unmoving.

Their posture was in respect to their standing as servants in front of a prince. Even their eyes remained on the ground and wouldn't rudely linger around. They didn't speak a word in defend but they also wouldn't acknowledge Jiang Liu's command.

Everyone ends up in a standstill. And the longer it pass, the more it seems like Liu Wang's side were only overreacting.

Wen Yang who leisurely drinking her tea as if everything happening around her is below of her concern, finally spoke up.
"It is just a cat, Jiang Liu," she said, making light of everything. "Which also happens to be a pet that belongs to my family's Fu."

Xia Min returned to her mistress' side. "Your Highness," she said and bowed down to present Mao'er to her.

"Do not pass that thing to me," Wen Yang said with furrowed brows. "Who knows what dirty things it touched."

'My face!' Wei Yi Yi reacted. She bathed after waking up alright!

This sister-in-law of hers is too proud and lofty. Jiang Liu was already like a raging volcano in anger but Wen Yang is still calm as stagnant waters. It's not like she was ignoring them, it probably more like she feels that she's too high above to be affected by those below her.

"Understood," Xia Min stepped back then tossed Mao'er to a lesser servant. After which, she took a handkerchief from her sleeve and wipe her hand.

Holy! Even her servants are so lofty!

Jiang Liu inhales sharply trying to repress his anger. "Since Mao'er is part of your household, then it is only a given that you must treat her properly!" A mocking smile form on Jiang Liu's lips. "Second Imperial Sister-in-law, you are already this old but must this younger brother still needs to educate you---"

At this moment, suddenly, Jiang Liu and Wei Yi Yi eyes locked. A second then another. And then finally, Jiang Liu's face lit up.

Wei Yi Yi panicked and wave her hand flusteredly. She kept signing and pointing to Wen Yang in hopes that Jiang Liu wouldn't bust her.
