In a women's riding attire, the empress cut a striking image that's full of vigor. Her light red fitted robes hug her figure and show all of her curves. The dark leathered belt coiled up around her slim and small waist was secured by a high-quality jade in the shape of a peony flower.

Wei Yi Yi's long, raven black, and glossy hair was all swept up in a high pony by a blood-red long hair ribbon. They dance around in every bounce and easily teased by the wind.

Overall, she looked simple and clean but still breathtaking.

"Big Sister!" Jiang Liu was delighted regardless of whatever ulterior motives Wei Yi Yi have.

"I was just going to go look for you!"

After the servant from the eastern courtyard went to pass the Empress' words, the emperor went to see the imperial noble consort.

It might be a mixture of both. Or maybe an impulse to indulge both of his women.

"Chenqie is quite embarrassed to have disturbed his Majesty for a mild headache," Ye Ai Ning expressed as she curtsy. She appears to be flustered as she greeted the emperor. Happiness could be seen in her smile.

"It was not a bother. My consort, have you eaten yet?" The emperor momentarily reached out a hand to support her until she was standing properly again.

The warmth in her skin as he touched her was fleeting but she was contented with this small happiness.

Although short, Ye Ai Ning spent a moment last night being with Jiang Yu and laugh a few. And now, the first one she was with first thing in the morning is also Jiang Yu.

Their interaction was always short and fast but they were plenty. There was a time when they would deliberately pass by each other multiple times a day. "Eat properly Ning'er so that you will feel better," the emperor instruct before they started the meal.

"En," Ye Ai Ning replied obediently.

Within the silence, they ate their meal with much attentiveness to their conduct.
