The servant cowered in fear. She stilled her breath hoping to shrink into the background.

"Pft," a laugh escape Jiang Yu's lips. When she beckoned with her hand, Jiang Yu complied by pulling the reins. The horse was tamed and it allowed Wei Yi Yi to touch and rub it's head. She was so delighted that Jiang Yu was tempted to give in to her request.
Too bad they don't have the luxury to relax right now. Wei Yi Yi would need to endure a little bit.
Since his empress seems to develop a liking to his horse, it would be a good idea to ride together and tour around the mountains early in the morning tomorrow.
While Wei Yi Yi plans to ride alone, Jiang Yu was planning to give her a lift in his own horse instead. It would be a hard game of hide and seek later.
As the two busily plan how they're going to spend their time outside the palace, they didn't notice Jiang Liu's strategic retreat.
He didn't fully left them. It was just enough for the two to have space and not notice the audience. After all, if he really did run away, his royal brother might bury him to the ground.

"Let's go," Jiang Yu's horse walked next to Jiang Liu's.
"Emperor, are you not going to ride next to the empress' carriage?"

"Second brother might want to ride next to his Wangfei."

Turning his gaze, the Emperor silently glance back at the Empress.
"Chenqie bids his majesty farewell," Wei Yi Yi saluted on cue.
Jiang Liu almost lost his strength and fell down his horse.
Big Sister you used to stalk brother! Why are you so cooperative with him right now? This is unbefitting of your infamous fame!
"En," Jiang Yu tug his lips a little upward.
Jiang Liu was utterly disappointed.
If the mood was good, wouldn't you want to stay a bit longer? This is beyond logical.
"Emperor, this brother's heart hurts," Jiang Liu pulled his horse closer so they are riding right next to each other. He then leaned towards his brother's shoulder in total defeat.
