The Divine Anime System 61 Gaia

Berserker swung his sword towards Gilgamesh as he combined it with a knee to the body. Quickly summoning some noble phantasms, Gilgamesh blocked the knee with a shield that still forced his back.

Golden portals appeared around Berserker shooting noble phantasms at speed which became a blur. Explosions rang out as another one of Berserker's lives ran out meaning he only had 7 lives remaining.

Regenerating quickly, Berserker dashed towards Gilgamesh once again causing the ground to shatter. Throwing high colossal sword at Gilgamesh, Berserker fainted into a kick at the side of Gilgamesh.

Summoning a more powerful noble phantasms, Gilgamesh blocked it before looking at Berserker.

"Hn, don't get too cocky mongrel, I'll allow you the pleasure of making me slightly more serious." Gilgamesh said before he pushed Berserker back with more weapons being fired at him.

Jumping backwards, Berserker grabbed one of the weapons before twisting his body and throwing the weapon back with shockwaves signalling the projectile speed. The gale caused by the throw, threw the other phantasms off as they missed Berserker causing the area around him to be littered with weapons.

"Hou~ to be able to grab one and throw it back. Interesting...." Rei said looking at Berserker.

The weapons faded into golden particles returning to the Gate of Babylon.

Berserker started to walk towards Gilgamesh as he began increasing his speed. Soon he became a red blur shooting towards Gilgamesh. More and more projectiles attacked Berserker as he tried to dodge. Some of them pierced his body but Berserker ignored it. Soon Berserker was in front of Gilgamesh and punched towards him.

Taking a few steps back, Gilgamesh summoned phantasms where he had stood and pierced Berserker's body causing him to fly backwards.

"6 lives remain mongrel." Gilgamesh said with his hands in him pockets.

Berserker was about to run towards Gilgamesh when he saw mages start to appear. Some dropping down from the air while some could be seen coming out the remaining part of the forest.

"Hou~More ants decided to show up." Rei said as he stood up.

The mages gathered magic to attack the barrier Rei made for Illya. Berserker shouted in rage about to attack the mages but Gilgamesh shot more weapons at him causing him to dodge backwards.

"Don't worry big guy, I got this." Rei said walking forwards.

Suddenly, multiple seals appeared beneath him as magic started to absorb his power.

Due to the sudden drain, Rei became light-headed for a slight moment and almost kneeled down. Taking this chance, the mages sent spells hoping to kill him.

Summoning ice around him to protect him from the attacks, Rei frowned feeling the suppression seal.

"Tsk, Gaia you actually showed them seals..." Rei said annoyed. Looking up he could see them launching fire attacks to try melt the ice. Unknown to them Rei smiled as this fire was just what he needed to replenish some of his power right now.

Undoing his ice, Rei stood up and started to eat all of the fire. The fire disappeared as Rei could be seen standing in a ring of purple fire. He had fire flickering around his body as the mages could tell the fire elements dance around his in his complete control.

"Kuhahahaha, you guys made a few mistakes that would cost you your life. But i'll tell you two of them...." Rei said as the fire started to grow.

"First mistake, using fire against me is the worst element that you could have chosen." Rei said as he condensed two flaming purple chains in his hands and smacked down on the ground causing it to crack.

"And second, the mere though of wanting to kill me. An immortal....." Rei said ominously causing the mages to step back unconsciously.

Suddenly, Rei flashed towards them causing a trial of fire behind him. Swinging the chains, every one that it touched had the certain body part turn to ash.

The two chains dances around in purple streaks of light reaping the lives of the mages. Illya watched in slight awe as she could tell that none of the mages stood a chance to begin with.

Seeing that there were still many of the mages left, Rei crouched his body before catapulting towards the biggest group.

Jumping up just before he hit, Rei twisted his body sending the chains towards the group easily killing them. Kicking down his heels on the ground, Rei caused the earth to crack with purple flames surrounding all of the mages.

Snapping his fingers, Rei manipulated the fire causing the flames to shoot upwards and grab the remaining mages turning them to ash. Rei looked around at the purple hell that he had just caused and nodded at its effect.

Rei snapped his fingers once more putting out the fire before he went back to Illya and sat down.

"Rei nii chan, what was that fire?" Illya asked unable to retain her curiosity.

"Oh this?" Rei said summoning a small speck of purple fire on his finger tip. Illya nodded.

"This is the flames of Lucifer, Flames of the origin demon or Satan I suppose. This was one of my first powers that I had and one of the most destructive." Rei said playing around with the flame.

'Aww, how nice of you.' Lucifer suddenly said in his conscience.

'Eh? you're healed up?' Rei asked in his mind as he put out the fire.

'Nope! No yet. See ya.' Lucifer said cutting off the communication.

'Random motherfucker.' Rei though as he looked back at Illya who had focused of his fire until he put it out.

"Eh? How do you have the flames of Satan?" Illya asked.

"We have people from legends, Why would you be surprised at this?" Rei asked.

"Because could you be actually Satan?" Illya said tilting her head.

"What made you think that I would be Satan?" Rei said looking slightly confused.

"Well Actually Satan. Actually is important, and you we're summoned by Rin, summon blades from no where, rained hell on the forest, and you have Satan's fire. Why wouldn't you be actually Satan?" Illya asked.

'I can't help but feel like I heard that somewhere...' Rei though hearing her.

"Well I'm not Actually Satan. I'm me, Rei and I just have his fire under my control." Rei said clearing it up with Illya.

Before he could even respond, she heard Berserker shout in rage as chains suddenly restrained him when he was inches away from hitting Gilgamesh with his sword.

"BERSERKER!!!" Illya suddenly shouted in a worried tone as she saw him bound. Quickly trying to take him back using command seals, Illya didn't understand why it didn't work.

"Eh? Why isn't Berserker coming back?" Illya said looking at the still bound Berserker.

"Enkidu, Chains of heaven. These chains are ment for restraining gods. The more divinity they have they tighter they bind." Gilgamesh said looking at Berserker with a cocky look.

Hearing this, Illya sent Rei a pleading look as Berserker was down to his last two lives.

Rei though for a moment and decided to not disappoint her. He smiled at her, before he walked over to the battlefield and also summoned Enkidu to restrain Gilgamesh.

"Oi! Gilgamesh, like this?" Rei said as he pointed to the chains locking him up.

Gilgamesh widened his eyes in shock and rage before shouting out.

"MONGREL!! HOW DO YOU HAVE ENKIDU!! ONLY I SHOULD HAVE IT!!"

"Let's just say I made another one. And I can make more as well." Rei said making multiple Enkidu's float mid-air.

Gilgamesh looked in horror as he saw one of his most beloved weapons being copied by some unknown individual and worst of all, they were all real versions too.

"MONGRELLLLL!!!!!!" Gilgamesh shouted in rage as he summoned out EA.

Red energy twisted together as EA appeared breaking off Enkidu.

"For this, you shall DIE!!!" Gilgamesh shouted as the energy gathered on EA.

Rei frowned as he felt threatened by the aura EA let off.

The resulting energy had also destroyed the chains on Berserker as he quickly stood in front on Illya hoping to use his body as a layer of additional defence.

Not wanting to see Berserker die, Illya used one of her seals to take Berserker back while he himself tried to protest to no avail.

Rei's eyes widened slightly as he knew his barrier wont hold against EA's attack.

"ENUMA ELISH!!!" Gilgamesh shouted firing the energy towards him and Illya.

"Tsk!" Rei clicked his tongue and he summoned Tengoku and started to quickly chant.

"Kneel in awe, weakness revealed. 

Power taken, mortal shell unveiled. 

Shojun(Ascend) : Tengoku No Fuin(Seal of Heaven)!!"

Golden light covered the area as the illusionary temple of heaven could be seen above Rei.

"7 LAYERED PROTECTION ARRAY : ROTATION!!!!

RHO AIAS!!

SEAL OF DEFENCE X50!!"

Rei shouted in quick succession as the countless measures of defence stacked on top of each other. A large array of blue seals could be seen stretched across the area. Layers of a golden dome could be seen rotating around where Rei and Illya as it protected them.

Illya looked at the back of Rei who was trying to protect her even against an attack like this.

*BBBOOOOOMMMMM!!!!

A huge collision of energy erupted as the streaks of red attack the dome. The energy almost acted like multiple dragons coiling around and striking the dome.

The ground was torn asunder as deep trenches could be seen. As the attack was focused on where Rei and Illya had been, the near by city was left relatively safe. Though the energy did destroy some of the outer areas as collateral.

The collision eventually died down as the dust left behind started to clear up.

Gilgamesh returned EA away as he smirked at the destruction with arrogance. However, it soon faded as he could see Rei still there protecting Illya.

"Kuh!!" Rei coughed up blood as he could be see in front of Illya using his body to shield her during the last moments of the attack. Rei fell forward as the majority of his left side had been evaporated.

"Kuhuhuhu, god damn....Havn't had an attack like this in a while...." Rei said as his blood flowed out in large quantities.

"Are those your last words mongrel." Gilgamesh said with disdain.

"No but what about your last words?" Rei mocked back.

"Those aren't the best words to leave out on." Gilgamesh said as he started to walk towards him holding a sword he summoned with the Gates of Babylon.

"Right back at you." Rei said as his blood started to move around shocking Gilgamesh.

Rei regenerated his entire body as he flashed behind Gilgamesh taking the chance of Gilgamesh being frozen. Coating his arm in haki, Rei pierced Gilgamesh's body ripping out his heart as Gilgamesh looked down on the hand through his body.

"You--" Gilgamesh was cut off as Rei ripped his head of the body whilst crushing the heart.

Throwing the body away, Rei looked up before saying.

"Gaia, you've been watching for a while. Not a very good hobby I would say."

"Kuhahahahaha, mort no I should say ascendant. You were naïve to think that you can go against me. Gaia." A female voice rang out as light descended revealing a woman in a green dress and long blond hair with the pointed ears like an elf. Decent bust, thin waist and a pair of green eyes. The woman in front of him is definitely a beauty but Rei wasn't distracted as he became serious and fell into a combat stance with blades ready. Cold sweat flowed down his back as he could feel her power and the gap between them.
