Rei sighed softly as he walked.

"So then Eve, I believe that leaves us with only Archer, Saber, Berserker, Assassin, Caster and Gilgamesh." Rei said as he walked around aimlessly.

"Yes, this war should be ending soon. Gilgamesh should be making his move soon as we killed Shinji who would have been his next master." Eve said watching Rei walk around aimlessly.

They walked for an uncertain amount of time. Rei felt lost. He felt lost mentally. He though that his broken self was not too bad, but seeing the result of this made him lost. He started to think back to all the things he done. He destroyed the world government. Kill thousands of marines even though some were admittedly good. He turned the world of boku no hero onto its head.

He then started to think back to his past life. The dreams he once had. They felt fickle to him now. Being a hero was a matter of perspective, he could be a hero to the people he saved but also a villain to families he's broken. Until he had a sudden realisation.

'Didn't I not care about what people thought of me before? So why am I bothering about them now?' Rei thought suddenly which caused him to open his eye's wide. Eve smiled widely as she saw Rei slowly regain his path by himself.

"I wanted to live a life of no regrets. Why push myself for other people's expectations? Isn't that what sensei did as he was then eventually sick of his life of regrets and never gained happiness. While I'm not a good guy I can't be called entirely evil. But no matter how cruel I will be to my enemies, I should try to not involve unnecessary casualties. Otherwise, that would be betraying my own standards." Rei muttered as he didn't know that his will and soul were being strengthened by this thought.

"Hn, I can't believe I fell into such a state. Hahahahahahaha, as a person wanting to become god I almost lost myself to such depressing thoughts. LAUGHABLE!!!" Rei shouted as his new and improved conquerors haki crashed down into the abandoned area causing an earthquake and the ground to split from the pure pressure.

"Hahahahaha, now then Eve. Since I have gotten out of this slight dilemma, shall we finish this grail war?" Rei said looking at Eve.

"Un, I'll follow you what ever you do." Eve said returning the smile.

They soon heard the roar of Berserker in this abandoned area. Looking around, Rei could see that they were near the Einzbern's castle.

"Wait is Gilgamesh acting already?!" Rei said slightly shocked as he knew Gilgamesh would make his move soon but this was aloft sooner than he thought. Rei and Eve exchanged glances and understood each other.

Snapping his fingers, Rei teleported him and Eve to the castle of Einzbern.

Reaching the place, Rei could see Berserker about to face off against Gilgamesh. The people in front of him paused and looked towards the two new additions.

"Yo, Berserker." Rei said with a slight wave.

Gilgamesh frowned at the disregard that Rei had just shown him. While the shadowed person near Gilgamesh said something into a earpiece before looking at Rei.

"Mongrel do not ignore this king." Gilgamesh said looking at Rei.

"Shut it." Rei said causing Gilgamesh to frown deeply.

"hn?!" Rei suddenly paused as he looked towards the sky and felt large clusters of people gathering at the location.

Rei frowned feeling this.

"So Gaia has already dispatched counter guardians....." Rei said as he felt odd auras mixed with the clusters.

"Eve, go warn the others about this." Rei said face serious. He could feel that Gaia even dispatched some people at the level of Sovereign which was worrying as he didn't know if there were anyone at the level of ascendant. Eve nodded as she flashed towards Rin's mansion.

"Illya, Berserker. I'd suggest that you guys should leave as well. The war about to be here is beyond your level." Rei decided to warn them.

Gilgamesh suddenly fired a noble phantasm at Illya. Using his body to block the attack, Berserker negated the lower class noble phantasm.

"You can leave but the doll stays." Gilgamesh said pointing at Illya.

Rei frowned and was about to attack Gilgamesh before Berserker shot towards him first.

"You handle Gilgamesh, i'll handle the army." Rei said walking away from Berserker understanding his intent.

"Here, this should keep you safe while your buddy there fights Gilgamesh." Rei said forming a Barrier around Illya using his seal so that he doesn't have to always supply it with energy.

"I don't need it, I believe in Berserker." Illya said looking at Rei.

"Let him focus on the fight. You can believe him from in here." Rei said to Illya as he walked towards a more open area as he knows that the magic association with the counter guardians will arrive in a moment.

"So then, why are the magic association here." Rei asked once he was quite far away from the mansion.

"I suppose you should know of your situation first shouldn't we. You see we are quite interested on how you were summoned but didn't need to live off mana of the caster or the grail. Some experiments on your body would help clear it up. Naturally that includes the young miss. She'll be found soon so you'll join her."The person said walking out of the shade of a tree.

"Hou~ You dare? seem's like you don't know my power." Rei said as he became slightly annoyed.

"oh no, we know of your power. After all, Gaia had sent us some counter guardians to face off against your power." The person spoke.

"Oh really, what did you base my power on." Rei said.

"Naturally the fight against Berserker, admittedly we are also quite interested on how she can turn back time." The figure spoke as he stretched out its hands.

"If you know then what is to stop me from killing you?" Rei asked smiling.

"Of course I have preparations. It should block twice the amount of power you showed during the fight with the help of the counter guardians." It said overly confident with the power.

"Hou~ Two times huh?" Rei asked to make sure.

"Indeed, now that you know you and the lady should just surrender. Don't worry she'll be kept alive while we dissect her body to see how she functions." The figure mocked liking the feeling of superiority.

*Chuckle.

Rei chuckled darkly confusing the figure.

"So it can take twice the power. Big deal. The main question is can it take anything above that?" Rei asked causing the figure to widen his eyes.

"True Eight Inner Gates : 3rd Gate Open!!" Rei said as the green aura burst out from him. The figure panicked as he knew he shouldn't have taunted him now.

"WAI--"

Without even being able to finish the sentence, his upper body was taken clean off by Rei who shattered the barrier easily.

"Che arrogant fucker. Did they really think I would show everything?" Rei said in disdain as he could see the masses of helicopter's coming towards the area. Rei waited for them to approach.

"HAAA!!' Rei shouted as a giant streak of purple fire shot towards one of teh helicopters exploding it. Dragging the make shift laser horizontally causing 5% of the total amount of helecopters arriving to explode into purple flames.

"Rho Aias." Rei said as the seven petaled flower protected him from the 4 assailant's attack.l which suddenly appeared.

"So Gaia's dogs have decided to make a move against poor old me." Rei said smiling seeing the attackers being blocked.
