"Hmmm i'll go look for some food. We also need to leave this island since it's quite close to marineford." Rei though.

{Eto Rei?} Eve suddenly asked.

"Hm? Yeah what's up Eve?"

{The Gura Gura no mi, Yami Yami no mi and the Magu Magu no mi have all be respawned into the world. Doflamingo has the Magu Magu no mi while the Gura Gura no mi is on this island and the Yami Yami no mi is in marineford. Rei what do you plan to do with them?} Eve asked curious.

"Hmm Magu Magu no mi Doflamingo can keep for dressrosa. I think I'll take both the Gura Gura no mi and Yami Yami no mi. Hmmm who can I give Yami Yami no mi too...." Rei thought while he stood up to look for the Gura Gura no mi on the island.

Looking everywhere, Rei couldn't find it at all. Even the map function couldn't find the fruit and soon the sun began to set.

*Sigh~

"Oh well i'll find it sooner or later." Rei said making his way towards Ace since he could feel that he's woken up. Arriving on scene Rei could see Ace about to eat a pear shaped devil fruit. Eyes wide Rei charged towards Ace.

"DON'T EAT THAT YOU FUCKING IDIOT!!!" Rei shouted punching Ace and grabbing the fruit.

"Oi why the hell did you punch me? Isn't that just a normal fruit?" Ace said rubbing his head.

"Oi dumbass look carefully, does this look like a normal fruit?" Rei asked showing Ace the Gura Gura no mi.

"EEEHHHH!" Ace shouted seeing him almost eat another devil fruit.

"God after all my efforts to save you, you were about to kill yourself without knowing." Rei said as he sat down.

"Er yeah why am I alive? What about oyaji(dad, father, old man)? Is he ok?" Ace asked quickly.

"Listen dumbass, i just told you it took all my efforts to save you and as for Whitebeard...He died. He words were that he had a good life, and that as long as I kept you save he would be happy." Rei said as he looked at Ace.

"Oyaji....." Ace muttered as he slowly cried over the loss of his father like figure.

"AH!! WHAT ABOUT LUFFY?!" Ace asked remembering he "died" Luffy's arms.

"He's in shock and denial over your death." Rei said shaking his head.

"WHAT!!! I MUST TELL HIM I'M ALIVE!!!" Ace said in a hurry about to leave before Rei grabbed him and pinned him to the ground.

"Dumbass be patient, let your brother overcome this and use this as motivation for his training in the next two years or he will die in the new world." Rei said as Ace struggled.

"But..." Ace tried to counter before Rei cut him off.

"No buts, believe in your brother. How about this, I think if i'm correct Luffy, Raleigh and Jinbe will pull something flashy so you can see him one more time until the next two years." Rei said remembering about the 3D2Y incident that happened after the war.

"....Fine." Ace said after some hesitation.

"Good now let's kill something for dinner." Rei said as he stood back up.

"Say Eve, are you able to remove the side effects of the Gura Gura no mi? I don't really want to give it to someone else so i'll eat it myself." Rei asked.

{If you go get the Yami Yami no mi or any other fruit, I should be able to remove the weakness of the fruit by reconstructing the two fruits so who ever eats the Yami Yami no mi or the other fruit will be twice as weak against sea water and sea stone.} Eve said after some though.

"Hmm alright i'll look for the fruit in the future, wait would the Gura Gura no mi return back to the world without the side effects?" Rei asked thinking about the consequences.

{Don't worry, if you ate the fruit it won't spawn back into this world even if you leave. And even if it did, it would still be with the side effects.} Eve replied.

"That's good then." Rei said as he killed a bear with an ice spear. Walking back to Ace he said.

"So Ace, we need you to lay low for a while so Luffy can train. What do you say about me training you for two years so you can get stronger when you meet Luffy." Rei suggested.

"What can you even teach me?" Ace asked eating the bear.

"I can teach you about haki and how to be better with your fire fruit." Rei said taking a bite from the meat.

"I don't need hak-

"Yes you do." Rei cut him off.

"You rely too much on your fruit, in the new world. If you pulled a stunt like letting them hit you while you turn to flame your head will be off your shoulders." Rei explained.

"...."

"Well think it over it's your choice. We'll go see Luffy in in a few days." Rei said as he leaned against the tree to have some sleep.

Rei and Ace hung around the island to recuperate for a while before they set off to Marineford.

"Oi Ace, you ready?" Rei asked as he looked over to Ace.

"Anytime." Ace said waiting to meet Luffy one more time before they do their two year training. Ace had agreed to train with Rei because he knew he relied a bit too much on his fruit.

"Nanatsu no Tengoku." Rei said as he unfurled his wings.

"Grab on." Rei said as he took Ace flying above the clouds. Suppressing both his and Ace's presence they landed on the roof of marineford.

"Eh why are we back here?" Ace said looking at the remains of the marine headquarters.

"You'll see but for now be quite." Rei said waiting for Luffy to show up.

It didn't take long before Luffy arrived in the warship.

"Look carefully Ace, this is the last time you'll see Luffy for a while." Rei said as Luffy began the funeral in the sea. Circling the island once, Luffy landed in the plaza with Jinbe and Raleigh. Running to the ox bell, Luffy rang it 16 times. While the world though it was either a sign of war or changing of an era they didn't notice the true meaning. From gathering of the straw hat pirates in 3days and changing it to gathering 2 years time. 3D2Y

Rei looked towards Raleigh who then looked back when he felt someone look at him from far away. Raleigh's eyes widened seeing Ace alive and well besides Rei looking at Luffy. Bringing he finger to his mouth, Rei made the sign for quite/keep a secret.

Knowing that Rei ment for him to keep quite and let Luffy train for 2 years Raleigh nodded with a smile.

"Now then Ace, we should get going now. We have two years to get stronger." Rei said standing up.

"Un." Ace nodded as he grabbed onto Rei who then flew off silently without anyone knowing. The world din't know that the blood of Gol.D Roger still lives, but will get the biggest shock in two years when both Luffy and Ace reappears into the world.
