The Divine Anime System 183 Completing the Trials

Reading through the list once more, Rei gained the records of everything he could remake.

During this, Rei found an interesting skill possessed by a character.

This skill came from a cultivator named Yi Yun. And from what Rei could tell of his description, Rei understood that Yi Yun had either reached peak Divine Rank 10 or entered God Ranks.

As one of the more powerful character's he read about, Rei decided to see what else he had to offer.

Once he had compiled everything down, Rei couldn't help but smile at the two new skills he gained by taking inspiration from the character. One was a movement type skill and the other was an evolution in his Destruction Element and Creation Element.

Using the divine essence, Rei could see that his right hand became tattooed with black runes whilst his right was tattooed with white runes.

"The right hand destroys whilst the left hand creates huh?" Rei muttered feeling the irony.

"To think I would have a higher version of what Tatsuya was known for. The demon right that destroys and the divine left that heals." Rei chuckled as he stood up.

His current progress was 61% till Divine Rank 10 so he had to make the most of this time and get as many skills as he could.

Opening the portal, Rei started his solo journey to fill up the Akashic Records as quick as he could in the time it takes to reach Divine Rank 10.

Standing in the space, Rei wondered what other skills he needed to obtain.

"Spiral power was one of them." Rei said as he opened another portal.

His vision was suddenly blinded as he tilted his head back.

"Holy fuck...." Rei muttered seeing the huge figure spanning the size of the multiverse.

"Hey Bai Wu, what cultivation are you on now?" Eve asked as they walked around the God Ascension Realm.

"Me? I've just reach Divine Rank 5. What about you?" She replied.

"Divine Rank 7." Eve said as she nodded.

"How are you so fast? Last time we were at the same rank and then you shot above me so quickly." Bai Wu pouted slightly.

"Hehehe, I can't be called fast. Did you know Rei's already got a few God Titles and almost reached Divine Rank 10?" Eve giggled as Bai Wu turned to her shocked.

"You're kidding?! Last time he was just at Divine Rank 6! And I wanted to surprise him as well." Bai Wu frowned as she kicked the pebbleless ground.

"I know. I was surprised as well. I think it had something to do with [Blessing of ???] But it seems like dad couldn't see it." Eve said looking back on her system again. The Blessing of ??? was a mystery as she only knows the title but not the effect.

"Speaking of your dad, why is he stopping us from seeing Rei until he reached Divine Rank 10? We would have been able to find him a lot sooner if he didn't stop us." Bai Wu said as Eve nodded.

"It probably had something to do with the war. Dad and the other gods want Rei to reach God hood as soon as possible since they've got high expectations for him."

"Heh~ It's kinda hard with such an outstanding husband. We're strong in our own rights but we seem kinda useless since he's so talented." Bai Wu said fiddling with her fan.

"When you see a beautifully constructed house, do you wonder who built it? Or who planned it? If so then do you know their name? If Rei is the house, we're the helpers in the dark. As long as we're happy, it doesn't matter." Eve smiled giving Bai Wu some advice.

"You're right. I'm content as long as I'm helping Rei in some way shape or form." Bai Wu smiled feeling happy again.

"There we go." Eve said giving Bai Wu's face a pinch.

"Hey stop it." Bai Wu complained but didn't stop her.

"Hehe~ Who told you to have such lovable cheeks?" Eve grinned.

"As your senior, I demand you allow me to abuse these cheeks." Eve said pinching both cheeks.

"Fairies (A way to address female cultivators)." A cultivator said trying to talk to the two beautiful females in front of him.

"Yes, what do you need." Both Eve and Bai Wu stopped immediately and stared at the person coldly.

Eve have her wire gloves ready whilst Bai Wu had her fan opened with the blade edge ready.

"!!!" The poor cultivator was shocked as these two beauties where in fact similar to Venus Fly Traps. Alluring but deadly.

"N-nothing!" The cultivator said as he quickly retreated.

"Haa... this was the 35th one already." Bai Wu sighed folding up her fan again.

"Well we're deadly beauties after all." Eve said with some pride.

"If hubby was here then he would have been able to scare them off easily." Bai Wu said as Eve glance at her.

"Didn't you just say you didn't want to look useless?"

"Yes, but I still want a prince charming to protect me." Bai Wu said as Eve made a are you serious face.

"You know that's kinda hypocritical right? You don't want to seem useless but you also want to seem helpless so Rei protects you." Eve raised an eyebrow.

"Ha? You got a problem? Don't tell me you don't also want to be protected by Rei." Bai Wu asked as Eve choked on her words.

"Ahem. We're on about you here." Eve avoided Bai Wu's stare as she said this.

"Eve."

"Bai Wu."

Two voiced called out as the two turned to the source.

"Sensei." They both said as Ophelia and the beast god was in front of them.

They both nodded with a smile as Eve and Bai Wu were their most talented disciples. Other's took several years to break through to the next level but these two were shooting through the ranks.

"Time is a little short so we'll be helping you reach god hood. We'll be needing as many gods as we can." The beast got said as the two put on serious faces and nodded.

It took a few weeks but Rei managed to get the skills he needed. Mind you, a few weeks to a being like Rei should have been more than enough as he could just teleport in, copy, teleport out in an instant. Yet it still took a week showing just how many worlds he had to go through.

The key was to get the conceptual related skills with no definition as it would allow for him to recreate other skills easily. For example, if a skill was called chain manipulation. All he needed was to copy weapon manipulation as it would also include chain manipulation.

Right now, Rei was sitting on a hill of corpses as they attacked the moment Rei appeared.

Rei's face was cold as he looked down on these fools. Now that they knew of his prowess they wanted to run.

"Regret that you provoked people unnecessarily." Rei said mercilessly as he blew out a cloud of smoke.

As the smoke touched their bodies, their body began to crumble away.

The smoke was something he combined with the Chaos element as it would crumble their body away the moment they touch the smoke. It would be a good skill to control the surroundings as it didn't affect Rei himself.

During this time, he had also evolved his pseudo God Titles apart from one which is the Transcendent God Title.

"How many trials do I have left again?" Rei asked just to make sure.

"Mn, take the Demon God Trials first." Rei said as he felt his vision shift.

In front of him was a barren temple.

The surrounding were covered by bones and ruins as the sky was just a void. Oddly, the surroundings were well lit.

"To gain the title of Demon God, you must forsake your heart and become the demon huh?" Rei muttered seeing the etchings.

"Forsake my heart? Heh interesting. Let's see what this trial has to offer." Rei smiled coldly as he walked to the open space.

However, as his saw who were standing in this open space he understood the trial.

"Rei." One of the figures said as it was in the form of Eve.

Rei only closed his eyes before he swiped left with his hand.

Opening his eyes once more, what laid there was just a pile of dust.

"They may look real, but as the future god of perception. No illusions work on me." Rei said as he continued to destroy the would be figures of his loved ones. Bai Wu, Xiao Wu, Yumi his mother, Fey and Aiko.

The first stage of the Demon God trial was to kill the things he holds most dear in his heart.

As he killed the fake figures of his loved ones, Rei saw a tower appear.

"Inner Demon Cultivation tower?" Rei read the sign as he stepped inside.

The moment he entered; Rei found himself at the finish line.

"Eh?" Rei was surprised seeing this was the finish.

"Shouldn't the inner demon be the hardest? Why didn't anything happen?" Rei said looking back at the tower.

"Ya think it's because of me?" Lucifer asked as he appeared next to him.

"What do you mean?"

"It's because when we first started, I was indeed your inner demon. You didn't want to become an evil entity like me. But didn't we eventually sort it out. And now we've cultivated me to the point that I have a physical body." Lucifer said as he gave his body a stretch.

"I suppose, but that seems kinda... off?" Rei said tilting his head in confusion as he examined the tower.

"If you say so. I'm going to sleep again."

"Say, why do you pop out every so often?" Rei asked.

"If I don't, I doubt you would wake me up." Lucifer shrugged before fading away.

'I need to get him out of my body sooner or later.' Rei thought.

'No you don't.' Lucifer's voice rang out causing Rei to sweat drop.

"Alright, slaughter god trial." Rei said as the system teleported him once more.

"Can you survive 20 years of continuous killing? Oh my god. Another one of these." Rei muttered reading the carvings. He's had it with trials that required him to kill for a long time. The same happened in the war god trials and he just wanted to end it fast.

If he challenged this before his skill hunt, then maybe it would be a bit harder. But now?

Rei walked to the empty space before clenching his hand destroying everything inside including the enemies that would have supposedly taken 20 years to kill off.

"Pui!" Rei spat on the trial as it was one of the most tedious types.

"The only one remaining is the system god trials. Alright, let's see what you have for me." Rei said entering the trial.

There were a few doors as it showed the skills.

"You must learn and integrate with these skills successfully to show adaptation in order to inherit the system god title?" Rei muttered.

"So basically, you want me to copy these skills?" Rei concluded as he was sure he made these skills in the Akashic Records.

"...." Fine I'll fucking do this.

Walking towards the first floor, Rei read the skill.

After reading the skill, Rei walked through the door and was greeted with a puppet radiating the aura of ultrinstinct.

"So it's one of those moments when you have to defeat the puppet using the skill." Rei muttered as he understood the restrictions placed on him the moment he entered this room.

As his hair was already white, there were no changes except for a galaxy like aura around him.

Rei took a deep breath as he saw the puppet in front of him. His body shimmered slightly as he realised he was in the 5th dimension.

'So this is the 5th dimension...' Rei thought as he looked around. He could still see his surroundings, but it was like they were behind a glass wall. Everything was a glazed tile image that would be barely moving even with Rei's senses.

Walking up to the tile that represents the puppet, Rei gave it a good punch as the tile shattered.

As he left the 5th dimension, he could see that the puppet was already shattered beyond repair.

Glancing at his hands, Rei clenched and unclenched scanning his body for any side effects.

"None for now." Rei muttered walking out of the trial.

Looking at the next door, Rei saw that it was Saitama's skill.

Rei clenched his fist with Transcendent Might causing a shock wave to explode out surprising him.

Looking up, the puppet was already embedded deeply in the wall.

'I see Saitama's problem now.' Rei thought as his strength had long surpassed what a Divine Rank 10 should be having.

What would have been a tough fight with the puppet was reduced to not even a punch.

Sigh....

Rei sighed slightly as he left for the other rooms.
