Looking around he could see that the other candidates were also besides him.

Muttering could be heard as they weren't sure of what to do.

"Hello, I'm presuming that you're the new recruits of the God Ascension Realm." A voice called out.

Turning to the source, Rei saw that it was a young man who seemed to be in his early 20's. He had white hair that was swept to the side covering one eye, his one visible eye was golden in colour. He wore a cultivator robe that seemed to be very loose fitting.

"Since you are all newcomer's, I'll take this chance to explain how things work in this realm." He continued as every one's attention was on him.

"In this realm, we have several ways to increase our cultivation's. The first being how you would normally cultivate. Absorbing energy and slowing increase your levels. The second, hunt beasts out the boundaries and absorb their cultivation. But this method is dangerous as if your body can't handle it, you'll die before you ascend. The last method which is the best yet also the hardest is to absorb a rift. A rift is a separate dimension that is opened occasionally by gods or when a god dies. Their energy would form the rift and several tests would be inside the rift. The first person to complete the rift would gain the largest portion of energy. But that also depends on how much you can absorb. The left overs would be available for the other people who come after the first person." He explained as everyone nodded.

"But here is a warning from me, don't provoke people over these energies if you can since murder is allowed in this realm. Your best bet is to join a clan since you'll be protected under their influence." He said as some were already wanting to ask what clans there are.

"I'll show you where you can join a clan later, but for now follow me." He said.

"How can we trust you? Who are you in the first place and why are you even helping us?" A person shouted out.

"Good question, I am Ingris. Moderator of the God Ascension Realm. Cultivation: Peak God realm." Ingris said as some of the cultivators flinched in fear at the cultivation of Peak God realm.

Rei watched confused as he didn't understand god realms.

'This means that Ingris is in the upper portion of the rankings.' Rei thought.

Following Ingris, Rei saw that they have entered a Colosseum type area.

"This is the arena, you are able to challenge other people to see how strong you are. You'll be teleported out should you reach a certain amount of damage. Death matches are allowed should both parties agree. This is also where you would find the Divine Rankings. Depending on how you do in the arena and your combat potential shown, it will automatically enter you into the leaderboards. Most of the high tier clans will look at your leaderboard ranking before deciding to accept you or not." Ingris explained as the then lead them to another building.

"This is the portal room. This is where you would go to enter different realms filled with dangerous beasts." Ingris said as Rei looked around.

The portal room was a hub with separate sections showing the type of beasts and their cultivation. In the section there is a teleportation array which would send them to the dimension.

"When you enter the realm there will be an escape seal on your wrist which will allow you to leave whenever you want. But bare in mind that it takes 20 seconds to activate so you should still be careful as 20 seconds is enough for some beasts to kill you twice over." Ingris said as some of the candidates gulped in nervousness.

"There are three more places we need to go, as for the rest you can figure that out yourselves. Well anyway follow me, were heading to the enlightenment tower." Ingris said as he walked away once more.

It didn't take long as they saw a grand tower which seemed to pierce the sky.

"There are two sections to this enlightenment tower, the first being closed door cultivation. You will each have a certain amount of allotted time depending on how well you do on the divine rankings. In this section cultivation speed is roughly twice as fast compared to the outside. Naturally comprehension and everything else is also twice as fast." Ingris said with a chuckle seeing the greedy eyes of some candidates.

"The second section is the trials of god. This is where you'll find the rifts that gods would have left behind. It's pretty self-explanatory as rifts will appear from time to time and you will enter the trials in the rifts." Ingris said as he led them away once more.

"This is the auction house, in here you will auction out anything you want which you find in different dimensions. God will also occasionally put cultivation resources in the auction house for you to bid. you'll also be able to find skill books derived from the system store which the system god moderates. Each skill will cause cultivators to riot should they appear without an owner so I suggest you take the chance to get them if you can." Ingris explained as they walked over to the last area.

"And finally, this is the recruitment hub, here you can find recruitment for clans, teams heading to realms and people hiring body guards. And with that I have explained everything you need to know. I wish you luck." Ingris said as his body dissembled into clouds before disappearing.

'So, we have a colosseum, a portal room, a cultivation tower, an auction house and a recruitment area for the main sections of this god ascension realm...' Rei thought as his first step was to recover. The best way would be for him to go to a different realm so that he can hunt while also recovering.

Separating from the group, Rei walked towards the portal room.

'Divine rank 5, 8, 4, 1, 3....Hmmm.' Rei slowly looked over the different portals available as he didn't want something too weak nor too high above his level. While he is weakened, it would be gone in almost three days.

The blood craze realm hosts a myriad of blood thirsty beasts that thrive using blood-based abilities. Highly recommended for cultivators that major in blood arts. Warning, one should not attempt to refine blood essence 2 ranks higher than one's cultivation.' Rei read the description as he was curious.

'Hmm, this is probably one of the more beneficial realms for me... Not only can I increase my blood control I can also increase my body grade which is all the more important because of my Shojun.' Rei thought as the power ranking in the realm was just right for him. His rank was 2 and the average is 4. This should give him a decent challenge while also keeping him on edge due to his weakness right now.

Walking into the portal, Rei felt his vision blur before clearing up to show a crimson sky.

Looking around, Rei saw everything tinged in a red hue as the smell of blood was especially dense.

Rei smiled slightly as he felt his vampire side thrum with power. Rei felt his senses increase in range as he had blood control meaning this realm which was doused in blood was like his prime hunting ground.

"Perfect." Rei muttered as he took his shirt off revealing his lean yet toned body. He felt that with his blood control he should be able to use the thin layers of blood mist in the air to help him refine his body.

Looking around for an inconspicuous location, Rei settled for a groove under a mountain as he sat down in a lotus position.

Closing his eyes, Rei activated his blood control as he started to refine his body.

Scarlet tattoos slowly appeared on his body as they formed tendrils sprawling across Rei's body making him look horrifying.

If one looked carefully, they would see the red hue slowly being absorbed into Rei's body as it created a small whirlpool with Rei in the centre.
