"Master, was it you who dealt with the titled douluo last night?" Tang San asked Rei when they were alone.

"Yes it was me. You really have a talent at attracting titled douluos to you." Rei commented causing Tang San to looked down in embarrassment.

"Can you teach me that move?" Tang San asked as Rei considered.

"It's maybe impossible for you to do it, but replicating something similar with your energy control shouldn't be too hard." Rei said after a slight pause.

"I'll tell you more about it when we finish this round." Rei said seeing that they were about to arrive.

"Thank you master!" Tang San bowed in gratitude as he knew for Rei to even consider teaching him such a move meant that Rei had put his trust in him.

Rei and Bai Wu followed Flander, Yu Xiao Gang and Zao Wuji to the spectator stand while the students walked to the arena.

"Oh? Darling, seems like we found a old friend." Rei said with a chilling tone as he saw the supreme pontiff Bi Bi Dong walk out.

Yu Xiao Gang felt Rei's mood change as he followed where he was looking and saw Bi Bi Dong.

"Let's just say she tried to kill Bai Wu. If I didn't show up in time I would have lost my wife." Rei said.

Bi Bi Dong felt a gaze on her and decided to look over. However, her eyes widen is slight anger and fear seeing Rei's smile as he made eye contact. Making eye contact, Rei gave her a taunting grin causing Bi Bi Dong to clench her fists.

'Why is he here?! He's with that rabbit too....is he the reason why ghost douluo never made it back...he's next to Xiao Gang too...' Bi Bi Dong thought in her mind rapidly as she made no visible changes on her expression.

The match started as it was Tang San vs a student from the other academy. Tang San continued to defend against the continuous attacks causing Rei to frown.

"What is Tang San even thinking about to continuously block like this." Rei muttered.

Tang San didn't stay on the defensive for long as before the final strike hit him, he brought out his clear sky hammer.

"Tsk! He doesn't have the strength to protect himself and yet he dares to act like this?!?!" Rei clicked his tongue as he clenched his fist.

"Hubby, maybe it was because he found out about what the spirit hall did to his mother?" Bai Wu said as Rei nodded.

"Let's hope he doesn't drag Xiao Wu into it or else I'll teach him what the consequences of showing off without power to protect himself." Rei said as he and Bai Wu walked away from the stand towards where the students are.

"Dad!" Xiao Wu cries out in worry.

"What is it?" Rei replied as he looked towards her.

"Brother is in trouble now, everyone knows that his father killed the previous pontiff!" Xiao Wu said as Rei smiled.

"Don't worry darling, I'll help Tang San out." Rei said walking over to Tang San.

"Oi foolish disciple." Rei called as Tang San looked over.

"Master you called?" Tang San replies as he cupped his hands.

"Follow me." Rei said simply as he gestured to Tang San.

Tang San nodded as Rei teleported away with Tang San.

"Thanks to what you did I'll have to speed things up. Here take this seal, it should increase your energy control but you shouldn't rely on this too much." Rei said handing Tang San a seal.

"I want you to watch carefully, I'm going to show you how you can replicate my attack using just energy control. While it maybe weaker in comparison but it is a good alternative. First, I want you to gather energy towards your finger tips so that it would combust with a wave of energy when you snap your fingers." Rei said demonstrating.

"See these waves and waves of energy that came off my finger when I snapped? I want you to feel their presence and use it as a guide to where you should send tiny compressed blades of energy." Rei said making sure that he kept the energy visible for now.

"I want you to master the basic version by sun rise." Rei said as Tang San nodded.

"But master, there might not be enough time." Tang San said as Rei paused slightly.

"Hmm...don't worry about that. I made it so that the seal gives you twice the result with half the work. But I'll have you know that you shouldn't rely on this type of seal as the consequences of overuse are more severe than you can imagine." Rei warned seriously as the consequences could result in Tang San destroying his body as it's not immortal like his.

"I understand master." Tang San said as he immediately started to try master Instance with the short amount of time he was given.

"Just so you know, I won't be helping you for much longer. Strong crops can only emerge after hardships." Rei said sitting down on a chair he made with energy.

Rei smiles as he waited for Tang San to master the weakened version of instance.

A few hours passed as Rei watched the sun about to rise.

"Master!" Tang San suddenly called out in excitement as Rei smiled.

"Yes! Disciple didn't disappoint master." Tang San cupped his hands with a smile.

"Though there had been one question bugging me." Tang San said as Rei raised an eyebrow in interest.

"What does master think about adding elemental properties to instance? Such as poison. It's so that with a weakened version like mine, I can still cause huge harm." Tang San said as Rei thought about it.

"It's not a bad thought, when I made this technique it was due to sudden inspiration. Un good job." Rei smiled at Tang San as he felt proud that Tang San had managed to think of this. With a technique like instance combined with a lethal poison, even if they block the majority, a small cut would be all it takes to kill them.

"Seems like you get to test this theory soon, people from spirit hall are coming and you should deal with it. I can't baby sit you forever and if you're weak you could drag Xiao Wu down with you. When I was around rank 30 I could fight against some titled douluo's. While I don't expect you to fight titles douluo's I want you to atleast deal some form of damage against a rank 80 otherwise I can't leave Xiao Wu to you with a peace of mind." Rei said as Tang San blushed at the last sentence.

"Disciples will prove to master that you can leave Xiao Wu to me." Tang San said with determination.

A figure could be seen approaching as Rei entered a separate space watching how Tang San would deal with this rank 80 that is quickly approaching their location.
