"Hmm, Xiao Wu's going to Nuoding academy. I suppose this is ok for a start." Rei said as he walked around looking at the place.

Xiao Wu soon entered the spirit awakening hall as the spirit master sent his energy to awaken her spirit.

A sudden burst of aura shocked both Bai Wu and Rei as they looked at Xiao Wu.

Both Rei and Bai Wu couldn't contain their smiles as they saw how Xiao Wu had a combination of both their spirits. But her wings mainly came from Rei's bloodline turned essence spirit.

"Darling did you see that, Xiao Wu has both our spirits." Bai Wu said with a happy smile. She wanted to rush out to congratulate her right away but she knew she couldn't.

Half way through demonstrating Rei suddenly paused as he saw how her room was mostly made up of males.

'Xiao Wu, mama can only do this much so far. Don't let anyone too close or your papa might break his own promise of watching in the shadows.' Bai Wu thought as they sat down in a corner and watched Xiao Wu.

Rei frowned when he suddenly saw a young boy with deep blue hair.

"Darling what's wrong?" Bai Wu asked seeing Rei frown.

"That boy...he's reincarnated with memories. His soul is too mature." Rei said.

"Hmph, serves him right for trying to attack my daughter." Rei said seeing the fat kid fly. Bai Wu giggled seeing Rei being a daughter-con.

Soon Rei saw Xiao Wu and the blue haired kid fight while he frowned.

"He knows how to fight and certainly how to kill." Rei said observing his movements. They were too efficient. Bai Wu only nodded as she too felt some worry.

Xiao Wu won by a margin as Rei knew the kid had gone easy on her.

"Hmm, Bai Wu. Keep an eye out for Xiao Wu for a second. The kid's movement was similar to my faded steps and I can probably merge them together." Rei said as Bai Wu nodded. However, the moment Rei left to improve his foot work, Bai Wu saw how Xiao Wu wanted to share beds with the kid.

'Ahh my daughter, your father might want to kill your little friend when he get's back.' Bai Wu thought with a worried smile.

Rei return not long after as he had a twitch surface in his eyes seeing the scene.

He walked up besides their bed and watched them without blinking to make sure the kid didn't do anything bad.

"Hey darling, you should rest a little as well you know." Bai Wu said seeing Rei stare with such intensity.

Rei breathed out heavily as he stood up and pulled the cover up since Xiao Wu kicked it off slightly.

"It's fine, you can rest for a bit while I'll look after her." Rei said as he looked over at Bai Wu with a smile.

"Then I'll trouble you then darling." Bai Wu said as she sat down next to him and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Un rest well." Rei said while he kissed her forehead.

Following this, Rei and Bai Wu observed Xiao Wu from the shadows. There were times where Rei wanted to almost skin Tang San alive when he started to touch up Xiao Wu's ears. And there were times when he was thankful since he help keep her company. One of the times were when Xiao Wu had a nightmare about Bai Wu, Tang San was there to help her and comb her hair which made Rei change his opinion slightly about him. Rei was also slightly surprise when he found out that Tang San had both blue river grass and clear sky hammer.

"Darling, isn't that the spirit from the clan we went to years ago?" Bai Wu said seeing the mark.

"Indeed, to think that the kid is from Tang Hu's clan back then...I wonder if our name is still on the stone of theirs." Rei said with curiosity.

"Perhaps we should visit the clan to check." Bai Wu suggested.

"Maybe." Rei replied as he continued to observe.

"Hey darling, if in the future Tang San wanted to marry Xiao Wu what would you do?" Bai Wu decided to ask.

"If the kid wanted to marry my daughter then he better be ready to pass my test. Because otherwise I'll shred him for even thinking about taking my daughter." Rei said as he didn't want to entrust his daughter to someone who couldn't protect her.

"Hehe~ Darling is such a daughter-con." Bai Wu grinned.

After spending such a long time away from Rei, she felt happier than ever to be able to watch their daughter together. Even if it is from the shadows.

"I'm not a daughter-con. Just don't want my daughter to get hurt." Rei said with a slight shake of his head.

"Sure sure what ever." Bai Wu grinned.

"Getting a little mischievous are we? I might have to punish you." Rei said as he raised an eye brow and smiled at Bai Wu. She blushed as she fidgeted before suddenly pulling Rei by the collar and dragged him away from their daughter.

'Wait aren't you a bit to eager!?' Rei thought surprised at how fast Bai Wu dragged him away.

Rei and Bai Wu also had their 'bonding' time every so often when Xiao Wu wasn't in danger. But Bai Wu didn't want more children yet as she wanted to put all her attention on Xiao Wu. Rei responded by making sure his sperm didn't impregnate her through stopping the sperm cells. This way Rei can still cum inside her without worry.

When Tang San had adopted Xiao Wu as his sister, Rei almost flew into a slight rage.

"Ah?! Do you think my daughter is someone you can adopt just like that huh? Your's truly isn't dead yet and you dare take her away from me!" Rei said as he was about to rush out when Bai Wu held his hips.

"Darling calm, darling calm. He just want's to support Xiao Wu that's all." Bai Wu said whilst trying to calm Rei down. Σ(°△° )

Tang San on the other hand suddenly shivered as he felt a slight once of killing intent and a bad omen for the future.

'Did I hallucinate? I'm sure I just felt killing intent but no one's here.' Tang San thought as he eventually dismissed it.

And just like that, five years had passed with Bai Wu continuously trying to hold back Rei from interfering with Xiao Wu when they had intended it to be the other way round of Rei holding back Bai Wu.

'Status.' Rei thought as he did take the time to cultivate and make new rings whilst looking after Xiao Wu.

"I take my eyes off for one second and trouble has arrived. I think Tang San is a bad influence." Rei said as Bai Wu gave him a pinch to the hip causing him to flinch slightly before turning around.

"Back then didn't you also bring trouble everywhere you went?" Bai Wu said as Rei couldn't refute that.

'Hmph, who cares if you're strongest in the world.' Bai Wu thought with humour seeing Rei relent to her.

"Let me do this then." Rei said as he made a strand of energy which would disrupt the target's energy flow for while as well as mess up their body control.

Rei waited for the fight to finish before sending out the strand of energy to the youth who was Dai Mu Bai.

The moment Mu Bai exited the hotel, the energy activated as he instantly tripped over.

"Hm?!" Mu Bai was surprised as when he tried to move his hand his leg moved instead.

Bai Wu laughed slightly seeing what Rei had done to Mu Bai.

"Darling what did you do exactly?" She asked seeing Mu Bai Struggle to even stand up.

"But I thought you didn't want her to share rooms with Tang San." Bai Wu said as Rei froze.

"Fuck! I should have helped him instead!" Rei said giving himself a facepalm.

"Hahahaha come on darling. I know you don't mind Tang San that much since he had taken care of Xiao Wu for us. On the other hand I'm more interested in 'borrowing' someone else's room for us." Bai Wu whispered in Rei's ear.

"Lecherous rabbit." Rei said as he pinched her nose before carrying her in a princess carry and 'borrowed' someone else's room.

"And who's fault is it that I'm a lecherous rabbit?" Bai Wu grinned as she wrapped her legs around Rei.
