"Don't make everything so predictable." Rei called out as he blocked another kick from Bai Wu.

Bai Wu teleported once more as she appeared behind him. Rei brought back his elbow to attack her. During the time that they were training, Bai Wu had become much better at redirecting the opponents momentum that Rei could confidently attack her without worry that she'll get hurt. Of course, Rei still held back his power a little so that it doesn't go too far above Bai Wu's limits.

"Remember, watch their body and try pick out weak points. Joints are a good place to focus from." Rei said missing his attack when Bai Wu teleported below him.

She gave a mischievous grind as she kicked upwards.

Rei blocked with his hand as he looked at her with an eyebrow raised.

"Nice attack, the crotch area is a man's main weakness as it paralyses them for a few seconds when hit with enough power." Rei said while Bai Wu only smiled as that wasn't her goal. Clamping down on Rei's hands with her legs, Bai Wu lifted her till she was face to face with Rei.

'Charm' Bai Wu thought as she used her ability. She leaned forward for a kiss when Rei bend back so far, his head was almost touching the ground. Rei flung Bai Wu away, while she teleported to avoid that and was about to land a kick on Rei.

Rei blocked that kick with his hands as he looked at her.

"Don't use charm too often as if it fails, they can retaliate causing you heavy damage from the backlash. Make sure the target has his guard down when you do it." Rei said while Bai Wu grinned once more. Rei had a bad feeling rise up as everytime Bai Wu grinned it would be a prank towards him.

"Like this?" Bai Wu said lifting her skirt and flashed her underwear. Rei paused slightly seeing this.

'Charm'

She crouched down about to kiss Rei when he flicked her in the forehead with spirit power at the last second sending her back slightly.

Rei stood up calming himself as he looked at Bai Wu holding her forehead.

"Are you going to show your underwear to everyone you see?" Rei said as he had a small frown, he felt a slightly sour feeling rise up in him when he thinks about how Bai Wu would potentially do that in a fight to use her charm ability. Just imagining people seeing her that way made him annoyed.

"Nope! Only Lei get's to see, no one else." She said with a tiny blush while patting away the dust.

"....Anyways, Bai Wu you should start to make your third ring now. Just relying on teleport and charm limits your fighting potential." Rei said as he mentally updated her status.

Bai Wu nodded as she sat down and started to materialise her third ring. Rei watched her as he eventually also sat down. He just needed that extra push to increase his ring to the 1,000,000 year mark. Once he upgrades his spirit rank his reserves should increase allowing him to save more time when upgrading his next ring to 1,000,000.

Rei closed his eyes as red energy started to thread around him. His 980,000 year sword monarch ring appeared as it started to gain hints of gold.

With a push of energy, golden light shot up into the air once more as this phenomenon appeared for the second time in Star Dou forest.

Deep into the centre of the forest, a python with the horns of an ox opened his eyes as he looked towards the sky.

"The second million year ring has been born...." It's aged voice rang out it as it prepared to investigate which spirit beast had cultivated to have a 1,000,000 year ring.

Back at the lake, Rei opened his eyes as he looked at the gold and red ring. The gold layer had hints of blue threaded into it as the two swords crossed in the middle of the ring.

"The next ring should be haki abilities...." Rei muttered as he stood up. He looked over to Bai Wu and saw that she was still materialising her ring.

Rei thought as he got to work in making his 3rd ring. Rei started to thread 4 types of energy together as 3 were deep purple and 1 was white. The two concepts started to mix while Rei's abilities started to mix on his original status.

Rei opened his eyes after a 2 hours of trying to make the ring. He looking in front of him and saw the silver ring. The ring showed the image of a large figure who radiated strength beyond limits.

"Show updated stats." Rei muttered as studied his new ring. The Aegis ability is a double edged sword. While it provides impenetrable defence, the person can't move when using it. This would become a very situational ability for only when the user can't dodge an attack.

Rei heard some movement and looked towards Bai Wu, he saw that her ring had finished forming and the pattern on the ring seemed to show the image of twins.

Bai Wu opened her eyes as she smiled at Rei.

"Hehe, I got a really good ability." She said proudly while Rei became curious.

"Hmm? What ability got you this excited?" Rei asked walking towards Bai Wu.

"This." Bai Wu said as another Bai Wu appeared behind her.

"Spirit skill - Doppelganger. I can make a Doppelganger on myself and it has roughly 30% of my power. The percentage will increase as I increase my spirit rank." Bai Wu said at the same time with her Doppelganger.

Rei was surprised as the two gave off the same feeling. If it wasn't for his Samsara eyes, Rei would struggle seeing through the Doppelganger.

"That would be really helpful for you in a fight." Rei said with a smile as he patted her head.

"Hehe~" Bai Wu smiled happily at the compliment.

"What about Lei? What does your new ring do?" She asked.

"It's simple but strong in situations. It gives me passive increases to my defence, strength and speed at all times. I am also able to see enemy attacks easier, increase my defence even more, suppress enemies and use earthquakes against people." Rei said as he retracted the ring.

"So Bai Wu, for your Doppelganger is there any more advantages or draw backs?" Rei asked as such an ability would have some draw backs.

"Hmm, there is one more advantage. I am able to switch places with my doppelganger at anytime as long as it is alive. But I can only use this ability twice a day and the duration is only 5 minutes." She said.

"So when you're in danger, you will be able to use your doppelganger to help you escape. It's a good ability." Rei said nodding at Bai Wu's new skill.

Bai Wu grinned once more as she looked at her doppelganger.

They jumped at Rei from two different directions as they were about to try lure Rei with charm together. Rei however, used spirit power to knock both of their heads.

"Bai Wu, don't try to undress so casually. Especially since someone is looking." Rei said looking in a certain direction.

There were some awkward coughs at the fact that Rei found him and appeared. With the body shape of a serpent, he was around the size of half the lake. Azure scales decorated his whole body while he had ox horns on his head.

"Speak who are you and how dare you try to spy on us." Rei said as he frowned at the beast.

"Esteemed senior, this little one did not intend to spy on you. This little one merely wanted to see the senior who had cultivated to have 1,000,000 year rings." The the serpent said as he bowed his head.

"I asked you who you are first." Rei said.

"This little one is known as the beast monarch or Green Ox Python of The Heavens." The beast monarch replied as he didn't dare to be rude infront of the senior 'Beast' that was able to become a 1,000,000 year spirit beast.

"Hmm, so you're the beast monarch. Well since you have seen what you wanted, you can go back to you nest. This lake is my territory." Rei said summoning out his 1,000,000 year heavenly demon ring.

The beast monarch was shaking as it was the first time seeing a 1,000,000 year ring and innate suppression he felt shocked him.

"I wanted to asked senior if senior is able to take the title of beat monarch. This little one feels like time is about to run out so I can only ask senior to take the title and help stand against humans." The beast monarch said his main goal. As the protector of the forest, he wanted to keep all of the beats safe. Having a 1,000,000 year beast protecting the forest would be the best case scenario.

"I don't care about your title. If any human dares to trample in my territory disturbing me and Bai Wu, I'll kill them myself." Rei said as he gave the beast a chilling glare.

The beast monarch shivered from the glare as he left with a sigh.

"So Lei doesn't want people to disturb us?" Bai Wu chipped in as she watched the beast monarch leave.

"Yeah. If humans come here they'll no doubt destroy this landscape." Rei said not commenting on what he said about disturbing him and Bai Wu.

"Hehe~Lei's so shy~" Bai Wu grinned making Rei have a slight twitch at the corner of his mouth.

"Go stabilise your foundations if you have the time." Rei said as he sat down and increased the age of his new ring.

"Heh heh, Bai Wu 2. We'll get Lei soon."
