The Devil's little Villainess Chapter 12: Evelyn teasing Jasper

A week later…..

She just came downstairs to have breakfast and saw Jasper sitting their calmly.

"Jasper, you didn't show me anything since I came here. Today is weekend, so, let us go somewhere" Evelyn asked.

It's been exactly a week since she came to the country X. But she has never been to anywhere except for council and her father's company.

As someone who likes to roam around like a free bird, she felt suffocated in this four walls.

Jasper who is totally in bad mood after talking in phone scowled inside. He gave a stern look to her and continued eating his breakfast.

"Answer me something!! If you are not taking me anywhere, at least I will go out by myself" Evelyn asked as she rolled her eyes internally.

All she wanted is to spend sometime with him so she can know more about him...

But he is always like this. Once, he will be all friendly and nice to her but just in a span of few seconds he will suddenly turn angry and melancholic.

"No. I am not going to take you anywhere. If you want you can go" Jasper said and stood up. He didn't even complete his breakfast.

"At least eat your breakfast" Evelyn said. For unknown reason, she started caring for his from deep down of her heart. Though she didn't accept that fact, even she knew that it is true.

But she continued convincing herself that it is merely an act she is doing for her Austin.

Meanwhile Jasper who is totally frustrated and helpless, unknowingly vented out his anger on her.

"Be in your limits Ms. Walker." Saying so he stormed back to his room and locked himself.

"Your choice, Mr. Stupid" she muttered to herself. Though she looked fine, her heart is actually in turmoil.

Even she didn't understand Why is her heart feeling so heavy.

Is it because he scolded her and gave her a cold shoulder or because she didn't get a chance to complete her objective for today?

"Miss" the butler called. He is already accustomed to this mood swings of his master but this miss have came here few days back. She will of course feel sad and this made him pity her.

Evelyn regained her cold and haughty composure before looking at the old Butler who is probably feeling sad for her now.

"That's fine. Could you please send my lunch to upstairs" Evelyn asked.

"For sure, miss" Butler bowed.

Evelyn smiled politely and nodded her head. After climbing two to three steps she turned back again.

"If you don't mind, my dinner too" Evelyn added.

Jasper is not the only one who can give someone a cold shoulder. If she want to make someone feel guilty and regret their decision…it is just a piece of cake for her.

The Butler is shocked but he nodded his head.

"No.. No. Uncle, I don't want any dinner. I will not eat anything at night times of my weekend. I totally forgot about that. Thank you" saying so Evelyn went back to her room.

Meanwhile…..

Jasper who locked his suite from inside, started smashing the objects whichever reached his hands. He is totally, totally frustrated and sad.

His teams he sent to China to search for Linda came back with a sad news. They were not able to track her or nor they found any hints of her existence there.

As Linda's uncle family is from China, Jasper had very high hopes that he will be able to find his Linda there.

However, he found nothing. Now he is helpless and he don't know where and where he should search for love of his life.

After he vented out all his anger by totally messing up his suite he went upstairs. Where his memories of Linda is stored in form of pictures and videos.

Slowly, he let go of all his emotions. He cried and cried till his heart felt nothing. He wanted to drink and forget about all this heaviness that is crushing his broken heart but he promised his sister and his niece that he will never drink again.

If there is someone whom he loves as much as he love his Linda that is them. So, he will never betray the promise he gave to them.

Soon, Jasper fell asleep seeing the video of Linda, in which she is trying very hard to cook his favorite pasta. But she was not able to do it and at last he himself has to cook it for both of them.

It was video taken when they are in their university. And that was the last day he had dinner with her….after that next day she just vanished into thin air.

After few hours….

Jasper jolted awake when his mobile started to ring. For one split second he almost thought that it is his team in China with good news. But it is his sister Jean.

"Sis" his hoarse and dry voice made Jean frown.

"Drink water first. Stop crying like an idiot first" she scolded him.

Jasper chuckled a little and looked at the glass which is now shattered on the floor, broken.

"Is it about Linda again? Jasper, how many fucking times should I ask you not to vent out your damn, unreasonable anger on other person." Jean continued scolding her brother.

She literally saw him going crazy and berserk because of his deep emotions for Linda.

When compared to then, he is far better right now. But his short temper is one thing she couldn't help him change.

"Sis, I'm not in mood to listen your lecture right now. I just want to talk to my niece and it will surely calm down my raising anger." Jasper asked.

"Even I am not in mood to give a lecture to someone who will never change. And I am not going to let my daughter talk to you till you apologize to Evelyn. She is your guest for god damn sake" Jean hissed and ended the call.

Jasper sighed but it is only when he realized what happened. He talked rudely with Evelyn…
