Chapter 196 – The Flower Soap Caused an Accident

Soap is a nobleman's staple, but the degree of importance one gives to it varies. Respectable nobles like Liszt can't function without soap while some questionable nobles don't care about soap at all.

Baron Gelt was clearly an unsophisticated noble, judging by the fact that his hair was oily.

After receiving the Flower Soap, he just opened the box and looked at it. He then asked his housekeeper to place the soap in the bathroom then went hunting on horseback.

Time went by fast and soon it was night.

Gelt didn't go back to the castle for dinner but went on to have drinks with a knight; his wife did not have dinner at the castle either, the couple were used to spending time outside. It was not until the moon rose high that the Lady Gelt drew away from the aristocratic conciliators and yawned back to the castle.

“Is your master back?”

“Master hasn't returned yet, ma'am.”

"I know that man has been drinking outside again. Leah! Help me put the bath water in!" The lady complained and ordered the maid to help her prepare the bath water.

A moment later she went into the bathroom.

But soon she shouted again, “Leah! Leah! Damn it, my soap!” 

Leah ran in in a panic.”Ma'am, the soap is in the wooden box on your left hand.” She said, picking up a wooden box with black tulips and opening the lid to reveal the pink Flower Soap inside.

“When did you change the soap?” Madam frowned, her anger revealed.

She has become accustomed to using soap with a rough surface and kneaded soap powder. When she first saw this kind of soap, she felt uncomfortable.

The most triggering thing for her was to change her favorite items without her permission.

Leah hurriedly explained, “It's the Master.. The Master… who received the new soap from Flower Town today and changed to this Flower Soap.”

“Did it really come from Flower Town?” The lady heard the words, picked up the Flower Soap, and her mind came to the image of a handsome man that made even women jealous of his gorgeous face .” Baron Liszt's town, that young man always likes to drum up something new … Go on, you go down now. “

Leah leaving the bathroom, sighed with relief.

In the bathtub, the steam of hot water was swirling and the Lady was holding the Flower Soap. She doesn't know what to think of it yet but her eyes were about to close. She sowed it with water and began to apply it to her body, expecting to feel roughness and friction, but instead so it was so slippery and there was so much foam.

Women liked to be surrounded by foams when they take a bath.

She unknowingly reached out and touched the skin on which the Flower Soap was applied. Lady Gelt was already forty years old, her skin gradually sagged over the years, and her pores began to expand.

But at this moment, under the lubricity of the Flower Soap, it felt as delicate as a baby's.

It made her keep stroking and rubbing her skin with the soap. The feeling was extraordinarily wonderful, and the rising foam added a lot to the sultry atmosphere.

Not knowing how many times she rubbed, she began to take some water and wash the foam off.

What was left was clean, dry skin.

The bathroom lit candle's light was not too bright, but she could still see that her skin was fairer than usual. She had not experienced a clean skin texture in the past using the old soap. It only 'looked' clean.

Now with Flower Soap, even the deeper part of the skin was cleaned.

“It's unprecedentedly comfortable!” She held a small piece of the new soap. The more she looked at it, the more she liked it, “This is a much better soap, I like this feeling.”

The Lady Gelt usually finishes showering after thirty minutes.

This time, she asked the maid to add hot water twice and washed for an hour.

When she finally washed her body and wrung her hair, even the maid helping her get to her pajamas felt something was different. “Madam, tonight.. you look…… much younger, it's really beautiful.” The Lady Gelt was not beautiful at all. This was not an easy thing to say, but Madam's skin truly felt firm when she touched it.

It used to be sagging, but that night it became firm.

The contrast was quite strong.

It put the Lady in a good mood, “It's amazing, isn't it, Leah?  You can hardly believe that a piece of that Flower Soap actually made me feel young again.”

“Is this Flower Soap really so magical?” 

“Of course magical! Like Liszt of Flower Town magical. Seafood, mid-level magical beast, thorn sprites, and that kind of scrambled eggs and egg soup, as well as a variety of breads. As many nobles say, Flower Town is the place of the knight's glory. “

Leah had followed her Lady to Flower Town and also tasted the new food, “Flower Town is indeed a different place.” 

While combing her hair, the Lady touched her face and looked at the crystal copper mirror for a moment before getting up and leaving the bathroom.

She called out to the housekeeper and commanded, “Remember when your Master comes back, let him bathe using the Flower Soap.” 

“Yes, ma'am. “

Baron Gelt returned late. Engulfed in alcohol, he was helped into the bath with his servant and the servant used the Flower Soap for him as commanded by his wife.

However, he did not have the patience to rub himself well with the Flower Soap, but just hurriedly wiped it off before rushing into the water.

Leaving the bedroom, he saw the Lady Gelt holding a paper bill and checking the proceeds of the town estate. He felt as if he were in a trance, his clearly old and ugly wife seemed to give off a radiant illusion tonight.

He shook his head to throw the illusion out.

“Look at it again during the day. Go to bed now.”  He reminded himself before laying in bed, But when he glanced again, he really saw his wife's arms were much more fair and tender.

He could not hold back anymore and reached out to touch.

Suddenly, the usual saggy feel was replaced by the firm feeling in his hand, which made him make out a  strange “hmmmm” sound. The body seemed so good to touch, perhaps alcohol played a role and even raised more by their long-lost sexual contact. With that hand, he had climbed the already crooked mountain peak.

“I'll sleep when I'm done… What's wrong? ” They haven't paid taxes in a month. The lady was a little surprised by the sudden attack on her chest.

“Nothing. ” Gelt said but his body didn't stop and he held his wife down.

Strange as she felt, instead of pushing her husband away, the lady threw away the thick paper and began to respond to Baron Gelt's initiative. This was a scene they haven't done in the years that passed, and it was rare to feel it again.

A few minutes later.

Everything was calm.

Baron Gelt turned over, lay in bed, too tired to speak, gasped for air, and went to sleep. Beside him, the lady was drawing long breaths. She then  covered her husband with a quilt, and then took advantage of the restless waves she felt to persuade herself for a while to resolve their sorrows and worries.

After calming down, she touched her tight skin, and a smile appeared on the corners of her mouth, “It is a necessity to always have a Flower Soap in the bathroom.”

She turned to blow out the candles.

She also slipped under the covers and went to sleep.
