The next day, after Leila and Leon's confrontation, Nicolas is currently inside his room scanning all the info that Karl is transmitting to him .

As he said yesterday, that he wants Karl to find Connard . Karl, as he only has seven days, look for any info that would be able to lead them to Connard .

As the event happened in the mountains and the fortress is bombarded there are not a single surveillance video that they could retrieve . So, they are in dilemma as were to look first .

"So, all of these info are dead end is that it?", Nicolas ask Karl while having a stern face .

"As of this moment sir, we don't have any concrete lead, yet", Karl said without expressing any emotions .

"Well, you still have six days to look for him", it was the only thing that Nicolas said as he knows that it wasn't Karl's fault if they couldn't find any lead yet as it is really difficult to look for someone who is as cunning as Connard .

"Sir, the thing is, since, we do not have any concrete lead, we decided to ask those hostages as to who do they think are Connard's closest subordinates . Since, Connard doesn't have any family . Though, they really didn't know what his subordinates looks like as they are all having a face mask but, they know what they are called . And also, they know someone who became Connard's 'closest confidante' as she is among them before she became Connard's slave", Karl said what they found though, he isn't sure if this could lead them to anything .

"Hmmm, so this people are the only lead you have? Well then, look for those people . See if they could lead us to Connard", Nicolas said while thinking that maybe, just maybe, those are the people that Connard will look first as he doesn't have anywhere else to go .

"You may leave now", Nicolas said dismissing Karl .

"Roger that, sir!", Karl said then leave .

Nicolas still sitting on his bed is not really thinking much about Connard though, he wants to get his revenge but the thing is something or someone is really running inside his head .

Do you want to guess who is it? Well, you don't really have to guess you already who is it . Yes, of course, it's Leila . He is thinking how to deal with her and how to make her his wife .

'Hmmm, maybe I must court her first? Though we already did 'it' for many times already, but, I know she must be experiencing a trauma right now due to that events that happened *sigh* . Maybe, I should take things slowly', Nicolas said in his heart as he doesn't want to hurt Leila .

'Right, I must not rush her', Nicolas said while thinking of what steps he should take next .
