The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 78 - 78 Domineering

"Take care, Grandpa." October said as she turned to Grandpa He who will be going back to City A tonight. Even if she was reluctant to see him go, she does not have much choice because he was a busy man. Considering that he have already went his way to visit her today on a whim, there must already be some piled up work for him to do in his office. 

"Have a safe trip, Master He." Lexus said respectfully even though his voice were still cold. Be it as a businessman or his wife's grandfather, he respected him.

Grandpa He gave Lexus a quick glance then turned to walk toward his awaiting car. Before he got in, he paused and said with his back at them, "Just call me Grandpa as what Lan'er does." 

Lexus' eyes rippled for a moment before it regained it's cold gaze; however, it did not hide the smile pn his lips. He slid his arms around October's waist possessively and said, "Yes. Take care, Grandpa."

With that, the old man harrumphed and climbed into the car and did not turn back to them for once. 

Mother Song and Father Song went to where October and Lexus. Mother Song then grabbed October's hands to hers and squeezed it gently. "You have to eat properly, my dear. Give us a healthy baby boy. He will look as gorgeous as you are." She gently laughed while covering her lips reservedly.

"I want it a baby girl. I have already had enough of a cold and heartless boy like Lexus. A girl is well-mannered and warm. Also, she will be as pretty as her mother." Song Wei exclaimed loudly and his voice was full of laughter.

October's face turned redder and redder the more she heard them talk. They were still her mother- and father-in-laws who she just met today and so felt really awkward with them but at the same time warm. Even if her face's expression did not change, her bright red face was clear for all to see.

"No matter what gender our baby is, I don't care as long as she is their mother." Lexus said as he looked down affectionately at October who was alos looking at him with a dazzling light in her eyes.

Yes, he doesn't care if the baby is male or female. Having her as his wife and the mother of his children will suffice. 

"Cheeky brat." Father Song clicked his tongue as he looked at his son who was looking happy and contented with a warm gaze. Who wouldn't want their child to be happy? In their kind of status, a lot have of poticians and other big families triee to rope them in in business or through marriage. However, he doesn't want his son to be in an arranged marriage.

Father Song nodded in satisfaction as he looked up his son and his daughter-in-law. He was quite pleased with himself that he had 'thrown' Lexus here in this city to broaden his knowledge and experience in business because who eould have thought that his once cold-hearted son would would find someone that could melt his heart. 

"Son, take care of yourself and your family." Mother Song said. She was not a perfect mother but she tried her best to raise him quite well. "If you ever bully your wife, I will abandon you."

Lexus' brows twitched. Was his mother being serious? Was he really her son? 

"Mother, you know that's not gonna happen." Lexus coldly said as his hold of October tightened but the strength was not enough to hurt her in the slightest.

"Mm. Just saying." Mother Song said indifferently and wrapped her hands around Father Song's arm. "We'll be going then."

"Take care, Mother, Father." Lexus and October said simultaneously.

The two then got into their car and followed Grandpa He's car as they made their way into the airport where the He's private plane was waiting for them. This was also the same plane that the Song couple used when they were invited by Grandpa He. 

October looked at the cars that were getting further and further till they were only like dots in her eyes till they disappeared in a turn.

Lexus was staring at her this whole time. His mind wandered and his eyes were in a daze. No matter how unbelievable it is, it had actually happened to him. He thought that such thing was really possible till it happened to him. With a gentle smile and warm gaze, a thought crossed his mind. So falling in love at first really is true.

Call him stupid or crazy or being so clichè, for love really comes in unexpected time, place, and circumstances. No matter where you go, love will bump into you.

"What are you thinking?" October's cold and soothing voice travelled into his ears and Lexus was instantly pulled out of his reverie. He blinked and his eyes slowly focused on her clear face that seemed to glow under the moon's light. 

October tilted her head and raised her fine brow at him. He looked unfocused before she called out to him. She wondered what he was thinking about.

"Mm. I want to eat you." Lexus said with a mischievous smile. He saw her pale skin turning red and his smile widened even more.

And sure enough, October's brows furrowed in irritation and pinched his side. She looked at him and wondered why she had chose him. 

Seeing the conflict in her eyes, Lexus' face darkened and his eyes squinted dangerously. Without warning, he flicked her forehead which made her gasped in pain. It was not that strong of a flick yet it is enough to inflict a little bit of pain.

"Don't even think of running away from me. You're already mine." Lexus' deep and gruffy voice sounded and entered into October's ears and penetrated the deepest of her heart. 

With of the closeness of their bodies, October could feel his heart beating fast. She strained her neck up to look at him in his eyes where only her reflection was in it and pursed her lips. 

"Hmph! Who said I will run? However, if you'll run from me, I don't mind tying you up and placed beside me in order for me to guard you. Especially since you attract a lot of flies!" October declared domineeringly at Lexus with a serious look on her pink face. She squinted her eyes darkly as her hold of his collar tightened. 

Under her intense gaze and after hearing her being possessive of him made Lexus so dumbfounded. After a while, his usually cold and mischievous self vanished and replaced with a shy pink blush.
