"Be serious here." October slapped Lexus' arm in embarrassment while also glaring at him. She really doesn't know why but every single time that she was with him, she noticed that she can somehow show some emotions on her usually blank face. It was weird but in a good kind of way.

"What? I can't do that?" Lexus innocently asked like gently tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. After sending a quick look on Assistant Yu, he turned his full attention back on October.

Gu Chen saw this and looked at Assistant Yu who then bowed his head slightly toward Lexus and walked a distance to pull out his phone from his pocket and started to make a call. After a while, he saw him end the call and walked back to stand a few feet away from him while nodding his head at Lexus.

Seeing this made Gu Chen's fine brow to raise. What was that all about? He turned to look at the couple again and put a finger under his chin in a thoughtful way.

"Of course you can't! You are prying into my private life behind my back." October coldly spat as she glared daggers at Lexus who only smiled at her. Seeing this made her furious even more.

"That doesn't matter now." Lexus said as he saw October frowned at this before continuing what he said. "The first time I laid my eyes on you, I knew that you are mine."

October felt her heart almost jumped out of her chest as she saw Lexus leaned closer toward her. Her breathing became more erratic and automatically closed her eyes. Is he going to kiss her again?

However, his lips didn't came but his hot breath blew on her ear again, "You are mine and I'll never let you go."

Smirking, Lexus straightened himself up and felt satisfied when he saw her blushing cheeks and sparkling eyes. Such a reaction on her usually expressionless face was very dazzling. He find it very cute. He already got a signal from Assistant Yu so everything is ready. All he needed to do now is take his lovely wife there.

"Well then, let's go." Saying this, Lexus reluctantly released October from his hug but didn't forget to hold her hand. He then realized that her hands were so small and soft, almost like a marshmallow that was so soft and squishy and can easily be crashed if he won't be careful with it.

"What? Where?" October asked as she got herself pulled out of the restaurant by Lexus with Assistant Yu in front to get the car.

"What about me?" Gu Chen loudly asked while pointing at himself but no one paid him any attention. Seeing them walking out of his restaurant without looking back at him, Gu Chen pouted and pitied himself. For the first time, he felt so lonely leading him in thinking of also wanting to find a girlfriend too.

In the car, October silently sat and beside her was Lexus with his hand on her waist. She asked him a lot of times about where they were going but she still didn't get any useful answer and was only told that it was a surprise.

But what concerned her more now was Lexus. He was sitting closely to her so much so that she can feel his body heat next to her. To top it off, he was always looking at her with burning eye, making October really uncomfortable from his hard stare.

Thinking about it, even though she doesn't know much about Lexus' full background, she can almost say that he has quite a deep background, mysterious even. He may not show it much but tonight made her realize that he has a lot of connections. Taking this into account, she can understand if he can dig up some confidential information about her. Also, even she herself couldn't quite believe his words till now and couldn't accept it still, he did mention that he already set his eyes on her. So this leads to him checking up on her.

However, who was that man? She knows that she had never seen that man before but he claimed that he knew her which was really impossible. Also, about her pregnancy. That was such a huge blow to her. She did not know how that man get that result. Was that just a made-up document? But from the way she looked at it, it seems legit to her. So how did this come about? The only ones who knew about it was that doctor and Elise. And it wasn't even that long that she knew about it.

October frowned while still in thought. Was it that person? But that's impossible. She doesn't want to believe it. Also, that person doesn't have any reason to disclose it. What gain will that person get? If someone will ever gain from her ruined reputation, it would be that Fu Yung. However, she can't connect that person to Fu Yung.

Then, was she just overthinking things? Her pregnancy was already revealed. And maybe, at this very moment, this news is already been aired on TV. And tomorrow, she might get caught in a swarm of paparazzis at Halo Company. Just thinking about it made her head ache again.

Seeing such a deep frown on October, Lexus worriedly asked, "What are you thinking about?"

October shook her head, "Nothing."

Lexus pursed his lips but didn't ask anything further. He'll just ask about it at a later date.

"Right, about the guests. I heard you want to blacklist them on that restaurant. I don't want you to do that." October said as she looked at him with a serious look on her face.

Lexus frowned and was about reject it but was cut off by her.

"They are not at fault here. Don't be unreasonable." She sighed as she turned her face to look out of the window.

"Unreasonable? They just stood there to watch you get humiliated." Lexus growled as his eyes glinted dangerously, his hands clenched into fists. Just thinking about them mocking his wife made Lexus fume in anger.

"And my father and his family, you don't need to do anything to them." October said a her eyes flashed a glimpse of hatred but vanished instantly as if it didn't happen at all. Because of hoe fast it was, Lexus was not able to pick it up.

"Why?!" Lexus gritted and almost shouted in frustration. Does she still have some lingering feelings for that bastard of a father of hers? After that humiliation she experienced from them, she still wants to keep her ties with that scumbag?!

"Just don't." October said and gave Lexus a glance making him startle. "I'll deal with them myself."

Suddenly, a loud laugh erupted from Lexus as he gave October a pat on her head. "Good. Good. That's how you should do it." He happily said. He did not expect this at all. He thought that he needed to teach her how to be ruthless but it seems like there was no need for him to do that. Clearly, his woman has a dark side hidden inside of her. Thinking of how firm and dark her eyes were when she said that, Lexus was quite excited of what she will do to them.

October, however, swatted his hand away from her head irritatedly. She felt like he was treating her like a child. Clearly, she was not! So there's no need to pat her head!

"Young master, young madam. We have arrived." Assistant Yu said as he stopped in front of a well-lit building.

"Let's go." Lexus said as he excitedly climbed down from the car and assisted October carefully out of the car, taking into account that she was already carrying their first baby. Thinking of this, his smile widened even more.

October looked at the building and froze. What are they doing here? However, before everything sink into her brain, she found herself dragged into the building by Lexus.

Apparently, they are in the Marriage Registration Office to register their marriage.

In a blink of an eye, they finished registering smoothly and got their marriage certificates in no time.

"I'll get you tomorrow. For now, I will let you prepare yourself. Remember, you're my wife now." Lexus said and his car drove off.

October looked at the marriage certificate on her hand and gripped on it while her other hand touched her flat belly.
