The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 144 - 144 City A's Influential Families

"They're here." Mother Song said as soon as she saw the black car entering the gates of the estate. 

All eyes then turned toward the gates as soon as they heard this. Grandpa He then cast a worried look as his grip on his cane tightened. He was really anxious about the state that his granddaughter was in.

To think that she would faint in her workplace, how grave would it be? If something bad happened to his beloved granddaughter that would also implicate his future great grandchild, then he would definitely set loose his hell hounds! 

A small Su family could not even compare even a strand of hair on his granddaughter's, much less that little insignificant seductress. If he would not make their lives miserable that they wished that they were just dead, then his name is not He Tian!

The bubbling anger in He Tian's blood was made clear on his red face. Compare to him, Mother Song was silent and seemed unaffected but her eyes were brewing a storm. Her eyes never left the car and it did not blink.

Finally, the car made a smooth stop in front of the crowd in front of the entrance of the Song mansion. 

Assistant Yu and Yun Xixi got out of the car and Lexus also got out without waiting for them to open it for him. His face was dark. His emotions were mixed as he was angry, frustrated, worried, and dread. 

Lexus then crouched down and swiftly picked up October. Her brows here slighly furrowed but other than that, she was fine. He cast a quick glance at the crowd and his eyes wavered for a moment when it landed on Grandpa He. He pursed his lips and looked down on the sleeping October. 

"Let's place her on the bed immediately." Grandpa He said in a firm and even tone. Despite his control of his voice, his fury was still leaking out of him. When his eyes locked with Lexus, a silent conversation was made. It was just a quick glance but that was all it took to get their thoughts in sync.

Nodding, Lexus walked past the crowd and strode toward their bedroom on the second floor with October being carried in his arms. It was not a short walk considering that it was a huge mansion. But despite all of this, Lexus did not complain his numbing arms as he thought that such small matter was not important. As long as he could make sure that his wife was okay, then everything else is not important. 

Grandpa He, Mother Song, and the doctor followed suit. 

Yun Xixi, being the person who tagged along on a whim, was dumbfounded. She could not close her mouth as it dropped to the floor and her eyes popped out of their sockets. She was utterly horrifyingly shocked to the core that it shook her soul. 

She was not that surprised about the large gates of the mansion or the mansion itself, what surprised her greatly were the people in front of her. 

If her memory was correct, then that old man just now was the most influential man in all of City A, Master He Tian. The man owns a lot of businesses on different industries. He was practically a legend in the business world, aside from the Song family.

That was not all! When talking about the Song family, no one in City A does not know the madam of the house. She recognized the elegant and regal-looking lady in red walking beside Master He. She was an international supermodel from the States which took a storm in City A, Jane Hemsworth. Later, she made a huge surprise again when she married the then young master of the Song family, Song Wei. It was such a huge scandal but no one dared to speak ill of the madam because it was not known to many aside from the head of the families that this new madam of the Song family had a special background. Regarding this special background, Yun Xixi does not know but she could bet that her father knew about it. 

So what is the meaning of this? Why is it that these two big figures in this house? What is their relationship with my boss? 

A lot of questions emerged in Yun Xixi's mind that it was swirling in circles, making her a bit dizzy. To think that there would be a time wherein she would meet them this close! She was immensely shocked.

"Secretary Yun, are you okay?" Assistant Yu came next to her and asked worriedly. He thought that Yun Xixi was always not looking good because everytime he saw her, she looked paler than usual. Or was he just being thinking too much? 

"Ah? Ah! Yeah, I am..." Yun Xixi touched her head with one hand as she staggered to follow the trio upstairs. Her eyes then wandered around the interior of the mansion and could not help but sigh in awe. No matter, she was not that surprised to know that her boss was living in this grand mansion. Just the interior itself was screaming "wealth" and "elegance." 

However, for someone like Yun Xixi who had seen something like this before, she was dazed or gaped at the extravagance of the place. When Assistant Yu saw this, he only raised an eyebrow yet did not ask. He thought that they were merely acquiantance at most so he would not step over the line as to ask personal questions. 

Assistant Yu felt uncomfortable when he thought that he and Yun Xixi were merely acquiantances. For someone as attentive like Assistant Yu, despite having had a few "flings" before, he was in fact a dense person. Because of that, he always got himself dumped. And so, with what he was feeling right now, he does not know and understand what it was. With that, he shrugged it off.

Yun Xixi did not see that complicated gaze of Assistant Yu while looking at her. She was too occupied with the big figures walking in front of her. She slightly shook her head when she noticed that her mind was wandering for awhile now. 

'This is not the time to think about these people! Right now, I have to make sure that my boss is safe.' Yun Xixi gritted her teeth as her eyes flashed an unreadable glint. 

The group then stopped in front of a wooden door and entered. Yun Xixi wanted to follow inside but she was stopped by one of the attendants of the mansion. She glared at the attendant but it was for nought. Her intimidation was ineffective considering that the resolve of the attendant was developed with the strong presences of the Song family. 

The door closed before Yun Xixi. Her anxiety was building up but she was can't do anything for now. For those people to be so familiar with the mansion was enough for Yun Xixi to know that, one way or another, her boss have some sort of connection. Regarding for what it was, she had some idea with what it was.

"Young madam will be fine. The masters are here so you really don't have to worry about it." Assistant Yu comforted the frustrated Yun Xixi. He then awkwardly patted her head as if comforting a little child. He then realized that her hair were silky and soft. It also give off a floral scent. At this, his worried seemed to calm down and a smile made its way on his handsome face, making the little face of Yun Xixi to flush.
