The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 143 - 143 The Doting Grandpa Is Furious

Yun Xixi chewed her lips nonstop whild also checking at the two people sitting at the back through the rear-view mirror. It was so quick that she would glance at it every other second. 

It would have been fine, but her anger mixed with worry as she glared daggers at Lexus was so obvious that even Assistant Yu could not ignore. 

It was not that he does not want to look at them at steal a glance but right now was not the time at all. He has stepped on the gas and drove as fast as he could but also remained smooth in order to not inconvinient his masters. Also, if something happened to the young madam, then he would get himself sliced by the throat, that's for sure. With that, he could not peel off his eyes and take off gis focus on the rode. 

October can feel warmth enclosing her. Despite her slight headache, she was all good. 

Her eyes were closed but her mind was not. She can hear the engine running and cars' angry beeping. Aside from that, here was also a sniffing sound that she could hear occassionally in the background. 

This was what she had observed. Also, she found herself wrapped in warmth. Then, as if she had just noticed, she can smell the cool and woody manly scent that waved past her and entered her nose. 

October knew that she was craddled like a baby by Lexus. That's right, she was treated like a baby! This was really embarrassing! Yet she was comfortable! 

While October was deep in thought, Lexus gentle intied her hair, making it flow down on his arms unperturbed. It was silky, smooth, and shinny. Her hair was soft and the curls were on the right places. As he saw this, he run his fingers through her hair ever so gently. 

October then found herself in a dilemma, whether she open her eyes and get off of his lap or just sit still. 

Unfortunately for her, her head was still aching making the creases in between her brows more apparent and deep. As if to try and help her ease the pain, she can feel his cold fingertips massaging her brows in an outward direction. He was clumsy and she can almost say that he was hesitant to put more force on his massage. 

'Such a troublesome man.' October thought as a sweet sigh of her heart was released. For having such a caring and doting "instant husband" she picked up at the bar, she was greatly convinced that her lifetime's luck was used up. But even if her luck was no more, she was satisfied already and could not ask for more.

Her body was a bit tensed when she woke up with her eyes still closed, but it gradually loosen as calmness and absolute satisfaction filled her heart. Her body sunk deep into his hard and cool body as a peaceful sleep consumed her.

In front of the mansion...

"Master He, what a pleasant surprise." Mother Song said and gave Grandpa He a cheek to cheek greeting. Her smile was a bit forced as it also did not reflect on her worried eyes.

For someone like Grandpa He who had seen all kinds of people due to his line of work which then acc.u.mulated through age, he can easily tell that something was not wrong. His eagle eyes then scanned around the fl.u.s.tered-looking attendants. Among them was a man clad in white and a stethoscope shoved in his coat pocket, undoubtedly a doctor in profession.

Somehow, his heart skipped a beat and worry filled his heart. He could not explain why but something does not sit with him from this kind of set up. 

Just what is going on?

"Yes, I thought of giving my granddaughter a visit since I was dealing with one of my businesses and it just so happena that it was nearby. I did some research regarding your residence here so I hope you won't take any offense with that." Grandpa He said as a small smile graced his old face. He was practically an approximately 70-year old man but one could tell that he was a handsome man back in the day.

His stood with his back straight and hands on his wooden cane. He looked confident, imposing and a presence that no one could ignore without much effort. 

Talk about being such a powerful and influential man being the Grandfather of October. It was not known that the two had such a relationship and no one knew why. 

If people knew about October having such a formidable background, October's peaceful days would be limited to none at all. For a doting grandfather like He Tian, he could not let those flies pester his precious granddaughter and be engtangled in their unnecessary schemes. 

However, he still let October fall into one just recently and what's more, it was done by a little mistress that was at the same age of his granddaughter. This was such a resounding slap on his face.

But then again, because of what happened, his precious October found her happiness. For that, although he was quite upset, at the same time, he was thankful and relieved...? 

"Oh my, you should have told us, Master He. We did not prepare anything much for you but I hope you would not mind." Mother Song said as her eyes kept looking at the direction of the front gate of the estate.

Grandpa He could not take it anymore as his curiosity peaked, "I can notice that you are quite restless, Jane. Is there something wrong?" 

After saying that, Grandpa He looked at the closed gates wity raised eyebrow. It was just a glance as he looked back on the worried-stricken face of Mother Song.

"Well, the thing is..." Mother Song told Grandpa He of what had happened and how October fainted. With that, the old man flew into a rage as his eyes burned with flames and his face turned red due to his unextinguished fury. 

"Those shameless...arrogant small ants! Dared to harm my precious darling!" He bellowed as his grip on his cane tightened and shook. His breathing became rapid, making Assistant Ke to worry.

"Master, please quell your anger. It would not be good if your blood plressure will rise. Young miss would not like it." Assistant Ke worriedly reminded his master and patted his back.

"Those plebeians who can't recognize someone who they could not afford! I will make sure that I will make them pay a hundred fold!" Grandpa He gritted his teeth. He then took deep sharp breaths to calm his pulsating nerves.

"Yes, yes!" Assistant Ke instantly agreed. He will definitely see to it that those blind people will pay. Having to harm their family's young miss, they should be prepared to receive the wrath of the He Family. A dark and ominous glint flashed across his aged eyes.

"My, Master He. You would not mind if we, the Song family, helped too, right? Since October is already the young madam of the house." A dark smile then made it's way on Mother Song's luscious lips, making it all the more eerie and evil.

The two people involved in the incident, namely Su Ki and Lily, did not know that they had just offended the two powerhouses of all City A.
