The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 139 - 139 She Fainted...!

"Boss, wasn't that too light of a scolding you gave them?" Yun Xixi asked October, clearly dissatisfied on how October handled those people. Just remembering those faces made Yun Xixi seeth in anger.

"Do you think I am too soft-hearted?" October asked with raised brow and looked down on Yun Xixi who was walkong beside her. 

They were currently in the silent hallway and were making their way toward the elevator to get themselves up to the 47th floor, the floor in which their office was. At their soft voices, it was accompanied by the gentle clickings of their shoes.

Yun Xixi nodded her head. Yes, she believed that her boss is too kind for her own good. 

October turned to look at the awaiting elevator and a dark glint flashed across her forest-like eyes, "I am not a good person, Xixi."

"You say that, Director, but you clearly are." Yun Xixi sighed and slouched. She was frustrated by this. She looked at her boss with helplessness, "Director, you should go all out. Like, boom! You know, go kyah kyah and bam! Like you did earlier the papers go zoom and bam then splat ah!" 

October felt lost as she looked at Yun Xixi making weird sounds with expressions and hand gestures so ill.u.s.trative. When she say "ill.u.s.trative," it was just hands flailing around her that October saw it just Yun Xixi dancing around. In short, she did not understand Yun Xixi. 

Pain shoot on October's temples, making her to pause her steps and put a hand on the area where it was aching. She closed her eyes with her brows furrowed slightly. 

Unfortunately, Yun Xixi was still busy ill.u.s.trating things that normal would not undestand. She was still upset with those people. How dare they look down on her boss! Should she tell her friend at the Human Resource about how those people insulted their dear goddess? They were her friends all because they were a total fan of their Ice Director. 

"Do you get what I mean, boss? Ah?" Yun Xixi turned to October with determined look on her face and her fist pumped in the air. But then she noticed the pale complexion on her boss. It was as if there were no longer blood flowing in her body. It was so pale that it was frightening. Yun Xixi could not help but cry out in worry. 

"Director! Are you okay?" Yun Xixi worried asked and instantly went to October to give her support. Just that, she was too fl.u.s.tered that her voice was too loud which made October's ear to ring more and worsened her headache. Her frown deepened and her head felt like it was swirming around. 

October forced herself to opened her eyes only to regret it.  All she can see was her view turning bright, so bright that she was squinting her eyes. However, it was no use. It was just too bright. She had to close her eyes. 

"Too bright..." October muttered weakly as the strength on her legs gradually left her. It was a good thing that there was Yun Xixi beside her to hold her up and avoid her fall. 

"Director! Director!" Yun Xixi was so scared when she held her boss. She was fine just a moment ago, yet this happened. This was so sudden. "Uugh...director, hang in there, please!" 

Yun Xixi was so fl.u.s.tered and helpless. For the second time in her life, she felt so useless. Her frustration build up in addition to the growing worry and fear in her heart. Her nose itched and her eyes welled up with tears. 

Because Yun Xixi was a petite woman, more petite than October, she was not able to support her boss. With that, the two slid down and sat on the carpeted floor in the hallway. 

"Boss...wu-wu..." Yun Xixi gently held October close to her chest. Her whole body was shaking and her mind was in total chaos. No matter how much she called, her boss did not give her any response. 

Drop after drop of tears hit the carpeted floor that was instantly absorbed. The shaking body Yun Xixi was so pitiful as she held the unmoving body of her boss. In this floor wherein a small amount of employees were at, it was pretty much a miracle that one will be able to bump to someone else.

Yun Xixi looked around, just to try if someone will pass by but it was no use. She sniffed and harshly wiped her tears as strong determination filled her big watery eyes. 

"I...I have to call someone...someone. Ugh, who will I call!" Saying this, she got her phone from her pocket. Her hands were terribly shaking like crazy. She was so fl.u.s.tered and could not think straight. She got frustrated and glared at her shaking hands. She gritted her teeth and instantly dialed the number that she had last messaged. 

"Please, please answer." Yun Xixi said with ungency in her voice. The shaking in it was clear for all to hear that she was really shaken up. Her tears were still streaming down her cheeks. 

Hands around her boss, Yun Xixi cradled October who was still unresponsive. Her complexion was still alarmingly pale and her eyes were tightly shut and brows furrowed in pain. 

"Answer the phone, damn it! Answer!" Yun Xixi chewed her lips and did not cared if she will bit it till it bleed. Right now, all she cared about was to get help for her boss. She swore that if the person will answer her call, she will be that person's slave forever. As long as help will instantly come, she does not care what will happen to her. 

Finally, the call connected.

"Hello?" A deep man's voice sounded from the other side. It was not cold, however, as it was really charming and friendly sounding. Yun Xixi shook her head. Now was not the time for her to think about this. Her boss was more important. 

"Please help me. My boss...my boss..." Tears poured down from Yun Xixi's eyes like a waterfall. 

Hearing this, the man on the other end of the phone abruptly stood up, making a painful screeching sound from his chair. It could be said that he was greatly worried and also equally scared by this call. 

"What happened?!" His boss half shouted. There was urgency in his voice. He prayed that his young madam was okay. However, that seemed to be not the case. Just from the cracking voice of Yun Xixi, he could tell that she was crying and distressed.

"My boss...she...she fainted. I don't know what to do. Uwa~" Yun Xixi bursted in tears after she answered him. "Pwease hel meee~!"

Yun Xixi did not care what kind of face she was making. She did not care if there was snot dripping from her nose. As long as it won't drop on her boss, she did not care. She cried and cried as deep fear gnawed her heart. Her heart was getting squeezed so painfully and her hold of October shook. 

"Yes! I-We'll be there instantly." The man broke out in cold sweats and made a run to hiss boss' office. "Shit. Just shit."
