The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 129 - 129 The Rumored Lover

Yun Xixi hummed a tune of her favorite song as she waited for the elevator door to open. While doing so, she thought of the ring on her boss' finger. It looked really so beautiful and really suited her boss' finger. It looked really so exquisitely made. Must be expensive. 

The placement of the ring and the type of ring was what made it more peculiar. It really looked like it was an engagement ring. 

"Ah~! I really want to know the details of that ring! This is so frustrating!" Yun Xixi mumbled to herself. She scratched her hair into a mess. It was good thing that she was the only person using the elevator because she really looked like a fool talking to herself. 

She bit her lips and thought more but she really could not erase her boss' supposed engagement ring from her head. Deciding to change her mindset, she opened the company's website and continuous popping sound echoed in the elevator. 

The more Yun Xixi looked, the more her eyes widened in surprise. This...what is the meaning of this?

A dashing man made a surprise visit to their director. There was even a picture of them standing close together in the lobby of the first floor. 

Ah? Yun Xixi could not believe this.

She then looked on and there was a comment that their Ice Director had called this elegant-looking man "Rong'er." From this alone, it could be said that the two knew each other and that they were really close. 

Also, there was another picture. It was a picture of a navy blue mercedes benz wherein their Ice Director was sitting on the front seat next to the "driver" and this "Rong'er" guy entered the backseat. 

It was weird that their Ice Director was on the front seat while their director's suspected "lover" was sitting at the backseat. No one had ever thought about the driver because no one was able to see his face. However, because of how fast the events were, this never crossed their minds and had unanimously labeled that dashing guy called "Rong'er" as their Ice Director's lover. 

Then, there was also another comment that caught Yun Xixi's attention. It said: "Have you seen that engagement ring of Director Park's hand? It was so pretty!" 

Yun Xixi nodded her head furiously. It really was pretty. No, pretty was not the right word to describe it because it was more than pretty. It was just so ridiculously stunningly gorgeous beyond compare, especially so when it was worn by her boss. 

But what about that CEO from Heaven Company? Wasn't that man her boss' lover? Then who was this guy? 

Yun Xixi tilted her head in contemplation as her mind were now filled with a lot of questions that she could never answer alone. Her mind was already starting to hurt.

Seriously! Her boss was such a private person that she could not help but be curious about it. With that, Yun Xixi found some firm determination and a lot of courage as she swore that she will thicken her skin and ask her boss about this issue. 

She then liked the photo on the company's page and read more on their comments. Finally, her elevator dinged and opened into the first floor. As soon as she stepped out, she was immediately swarmed with a lot of employees who was looking for gossip. 

"Xixi, did you know who that hottie that came to fetch Director Park?" A chubby yet charming lady said with glittering eyes. 

"Speaking of that hottie, he looked my way and smiled at me!" A tall and curvy woman said.

"What do you mean he smiled at you? He was clearly looking at me." A pretty woman flipped her straight hair and smugly said. 

The tall woman rolled her eyes at this and slightly pushed the pretty woman and turned to Yun Xixi. "Whatever. Anyway, he seemed to be really close with our Director. Do you think he is her lover?"

The chubby woman sighed in defeat as soon as she heard this and said weakly, "If that is so, then we are no match from our director. Ah~! I wish I could have someone as handsome and hot as him as my boyfriend." 

The two other women sighed dreamily as their thoughts wandered into that dashing figure, "Yes, it would really be our great fortune."

Yun Xixi looked at the three women in front of her gushing over that "Rong'er" guy. She was left dumbfounded at their chatters. She was talkative, that she can never deny. However, she was never someone who goes gaga over some hottie or handsome guy. 

Was she weird? Yun Xixi shrugged her shoulders. She does not know. That kind of thing was still a far off topic she still had never encountered in her entire life. 

For now, she was more enthusiastic in talking about her wonderful boss. 

"Oh right, have you guys already went for lunch?" Yun Xixi asked the three, wondering if they still have not eaten yet because he will tag along with them. Eating alone felt so boring and...lonely.

"Oh, we are already done. What, you still haven't?" The pretty woman looked at Yun Xixi with raised eyebrow.

"You should go now. Well, your lunch time is different from us but still, you should hurry to eat your lunch." The chubby lady said.

"Okay, thanks. I'll go out to eat instead." Yun Xixi said as she waved at the three ladiess goodbye. She then turned to head toward the exit and on the highway. Considering that she does not have a car of her own, she will instead go grab a taxi to go to some fastfood to grab a quick meal. With that, she can also save a bit of money. 

However, 1 minute...5 minutes...10 minutes passed, no taxi stopped for Yun Xixi. She unconsciously touched her belly and as if complaining on time, her stomach growled in hunger. She sighed and gritted her teeth as she decided to wait for another few minutes. If there were really none, then she will need to go grab some crackers stored in the pantry. 

Crackers were not actual food and could definitely not make her belly full. However, if worse comes to worse, she will have to make do of that crackers and drink a lot of water. 

Yun Xixi was already on the verge of crying and gave up. She turned her heels and was about to leave when a black car stopped right in front of here. 

She paused in her steps and looked at the car suspiciously. Her eyes squinted and she backed away slowly and cautiously. 

Why did this car stop so abruptly right in front of her? Ah! Is this...oh no, did her family found her and was already here to pick her up?

Horror filled Yun Xixi's eyes. She immediately turned to run when she saw a head popped out of the door. 

Yun Xixi looked at the driver with wide eyes and half-opened mouth, "Y-It's you."
