The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 113 - 113 I Missed You

October snapped her head toward the closed door. She almost cursed under her heart. She had totally forgotten for a moment that her mother-in-law was still there by the door. She scrumbled into her feet as she clumsily wrapped the blanket around her body and picked up their clothes from last night that was scattered on the floor. However, she realized that these clothes were from yesterday and cannot be worn anymore. With this, she hurriedly walked toward their walk-in closet while replying, "Yes, mother. Everything's just fine." 

Hearing some shuffling inside the room, Mother Song's smile widened even more. So her "suggestion" last night was effective. Thinking this, Mother Song was quite pleased with this and silently chuckled. Now, she had already helped her son so much. He should be grateful to have such a supporting mother like her. 

"Okay. You two should hurry. Breakfast is almost ready." Mother Song said and giddily walked down the stairs with high spirits. As she took the last step, her phone beeped once, indicating that it was a message that she had just received. 

Mother Song paused from walking and looked at her phone. Seeing who it was, her look softened with warmth in her eyes and a sweet smile replaced her previous one from just a while ago. After reading the contents, she let out a laugh. After a second, her phone rang. This time, however, it was a call. She them instantly accepted the call.

"Darli~ng!" A whining voice of a grown man sounded from the other side of the phone. "I missed you so much."

Mother Song was already used to this and so she nonchalantly and coldly said, "Darling, I will be staying here for a few weeks."

As soon as she said this to her husband, a loud clatter sounded on the background making Mother Song to frown in worry. "Are you okay? What was that?"

"What?!" Song Wei exclaimed in surprise and worry. He did not even answer the worried question from hiis wife as he had already turned all his attention at this sudden decision from his wife. "Why so suddenly? And how long exactly? No, I can't take this. I will follow you there and accompany you." 

Father Song said decisively and abruptly stood up from his chair with a slam. He gritted his teeth in frustration. How can she just leave him here like this so easily? Can't she give him a notice beforehand before leaving him? He knew that she was sometimes cold and indifferent, but how can she do this to him?

"Boss! Please reconsider." Someone said in a very pitiful voice. It was one of his subordinates who cried out like this, with the other people around their big boss looking at him with a pleading look.

"Yes boss. There are still a lot of things that I needed you to take care of. If not, I will really not be able to close these deals without your approval and signature." Another one hurriedly gave a follow up on the first person. They was just doing his job but the glare that they were receiving from their boss was just too scary that they could not help but to look away.

"Hmph! Leixi, you will be in-charge while I'm gone." Father Song pointed his finger at Leixi making that person almost fainted in terror as his face immediately drained of color.

Basing on this action rash action, they can almost say for certain that their boss just randomly chose a person's name that first popped up in his head. 

The subordinates of Father Song looked at Leixi with pity. However, they were also relieved that their names were not the first name that their boss remembered. Despite this, they were still unwilling to compromise by the forced arrangement made by their boss.

When Mother Song heard her hussband making such reckless move in managing the business, she frowned in displeasure. Sometimes, her husband would take things too far for her. Yes, it felt nice to be loved and spoiled like this but she can also practice some control and knows the limit to things. In life, she can't be too greedy.

"Why are you bullying your subordinates? Tch. Don't push your work to someone else in order for you to have a break." Mother Song firmly said as she scolded her husband. While doing this, she slowly went to the dining hall. "Finish your work first. After all of those things are settled, then that will be the time that I will consider in agreeing to you on going here."

"What? But darling! I missed you too much." Father Song's face twisted in agony as he started the void that was forming in his chest. He then let himself fall heavily on his executive chair and helplessly run his fingers through his hair.  

His subordinates looked at their boss literally "deflating" like a balloon as he leaned his back heavily on his chair. By the looks of it, they knew that their madam did not approve of it and so this happened. They rejoiced in their hearts at this sudden turn of events. They were glad that their "trump card," as what they wanted to call their madam, made a move. 

Mother Song sat on the chair and looked on at the food prepared for them for breakfast. Her smile widened and her eyes sparkled at the scrumptious dishes placed around the table. Somehow, she has a feeling that if she will decide in living here with her son and daughter-in-law, she will definitely, without a doubt, get fat in no time at all.

After a few more minutes of waiting, Lexus and October entered the dining hall with one being very uneasy in close proximity with Lexus. When she noticed her mother-in-law's knowing eyes while looking at them, October already knew that Mother Song knew about what happened last night.

Seeing the shy disposition of his wife, an evil grin formed on Lexus' red lips and he lowered his voice into a whisper and said in a teasing voice, "Your m.o.a.ns last night was quite loud." 

"Yeah? Well, who do you think is the reason behind that?" October gritted her teeth as she glared at Lexus and slapped his arm. This shameless man, making her do all those things and kept going on and on as if he can last for a hundred more rounds. October pursed her lips as her body felt sore as soon as she remembered the things he did to her last night. 

Lexus chuckled as amus.e.m.e.nt and contentment flashed through his ocean blue eyes. He then rubbed the area of his arm where October slapped him as he felt like it was burning a little and itchy. His eyes never teared away from the woman walking beside him and his whole person were wrapped with warm elegance and doting.

Lexus then intertwined their hands but still acted as if nothing unusual happened as he kept a carefree smile and looking up ahead to where the opened door of the dining hall. October looked at their entwining hands and felt his warmth that almost felt like it spread like wildfire thoughout her body. Even if she was a bit upset about last night, it immediately simmered down at this. This only made her realize more of how he can quickly change her mood and influence her emotions.

Lexus then softly tugged October to him and leaned down to whisper in her ear in his deep and seductive voice, "That's just how you make me go crazy."
