The CEO and his WIFE Chapter 15

It was around 11 and Yumi was just about to fall asleep, when she heard footsteps coming closer and closer to her room, she had thought it was the nurses walking by, but that person wasn't a nurse as they stopped at the front of her door and began opening it .

Her sense were shard and since the door was open there was some light so she could see the shadow and as they got closer she could see they had a dart, no soon she saw it was two small daggers .

They were gonna hit her with it , but instead of being worried she was wondering who was trying to hurt here, that's not your typical reaction .

They began to raise their hand and they shot it but she didn't react because she could see on how they shot it they weren't aiming for her as it landed about 2 feet above her head . The second one thought, she saw their hand was lower which meant this time they were aiming for her head .

They shot the dagger,but as it was a couple of inches away from her face she got up quick and caught it between her middle and index finger just between her eyes and as fast as she caught it she threw it back just as fast .

The person had caught the dagger the same way but this time they said something .

"Just as expected from a student of Master Bai"

"Who are you, how do you know that?"

"Well he told me of course"

They Flicked the lights on and to her surprise, it was him, the dazzling masterpiece of gods work, the guy that ran over her and broke her leg .

"Yours quit an interesting person Yumi Sang or should I say Yumi Yan"

She had changed her last name to Sang which was her mother's surname so that they won't find her, but how did he find out?

"How the hell do you know that?"

"If I want to find something it can be done within seconds"

She saw his eyes though they looked like they had sparkles in them, they were so intimidating . Any person looking at those eyes would've froze to death, but not her instead she gave him the same intimidating look .

The scene was so intense that the air was dense, so much that you could chock, but if you were to look closer you can see two people at an equal power, it's like they already understood each other without having to say a word .

A sign came out of Yumi's mouth

"So what do you know about me so far"

He sat down and opened the portfolio and started reading off what was written down .

"Ran away from home and they don't know where you are, you have full scholarship to Harvard University, you graduated earlier than your class impressive, but can I ask why did you runaway from home?"

"They planned for me to get married right after high-school which meant I wouldn't go to college while my sister could go"

He saw she had teary eyes but soon they show of hatred .

"They didn't even tell me about this I overheard them taking , they were just planning to sell me off without me knowing"

"Because I was labeled as the illegitimate child of the Yan family"

She again had teary eyes, he couldn't bare his to see her cry but he didn't know why, without a thought he went and hugged her, he knew how she felt because he to held the same title of his family .

She had always been strong but today she was balling her eyes out in front of a stranger, as soon as his firm and muscled but yet so gentle arms were around her she felt nothing but warmth, she felt so safe in the arms of a stranger but she couldn't help rapping her arms around his waist and feel the warmth of this chest as they both would fall asleep .
