His eyes were confused on the Old Man and his mind tried to absorb the meaning of what he said. At that tender age, he didn't understand much but he knew that the Old Man Skull did not harbor good intentions towards him.

His sixth sense kept telling him something was wrong… but he was not resourceful, had no means to run away and live a better life so he accepted what was going to come.

Old Man Skull laughed once more as he held his bloody chin.

Old Man Skull: "You were born because your mother was r*aped by three disgusting men! Can you imagine the horror? How much your mother must have hated those moments and those men, how much she would have despised the child that was a result of r*ape so no wonder she left you at the doorstep of that orphanage. Because she didn't want you or even your traces in her life. Well, I can't blame her you shouldn't have been born in the first place. You were the bitter fruit of a horrible nightmare so it's given that she wanted to erase that memory. And you my boy would have only reminded her of that nightmare her whole life."

Old Man Skull smudged the blood on his lips and he squeezed his mouth making him twitched in pain.

With narrowed eyes he said, "And do you know who is the person other than your mother most responsible for you to be abandoned and left behind? Who should you curse for you unfortunate and miserable life?"

Old Man Skull smirked and continued, "It's the KENS! The Kens who tried their best to offer a good life to your mother. Who did everything… pushing your mother to erase you in her life so she could look good and deserving to enter the KEN's household."

"So now, don't you want to live and take them all down? It's not your destiny to be miserable. It's the people around, the one who abandoned you and the one responsible to convince your mother to abandon you. Take that anger and frustrations out on them. I will help you… Mould you to take your revenge. Together we will bring and take them all down!]

He was in pain for years, not only physically but emotionally. He accepted his hideous fate under the Old Man's Skull's hand.

He was trained both to be a monster and a businessman. He was the Old Man Skull's greatest achievement.

With his help, the underworld business rose and could now compete head to head with the Kens.

Then, that time came when he accidentally saw Ryu, on his graduation. He was there out of an invitation.

Ryu looked so happy with his mother who was very proud of him. Envy clouded him because ever since he entered the business world he had monitored Ryu who was only a year younger than him. Ryu who always got everything and could have anything in an easy way.

Ryu did not experience heartache… downfall… pain… hatred... unlike him…

And he wanted Ryu to feel those. Experience what it's like to be abandoned. That's why he came up with the plan of breaking Ryu's heart by using a woman.

He knew it was childish but he couldn't help himself… His heart was full of anger and resentment…

But then he met Arya, who came like a refreshing breeze, who helped him to look at life positively though life alone was giving him a hard time.

He cannot deny how much Arya meant to him, and as he look at it today she never treated him more than a friend and she always meant good for him. He knew he had a good friend today and always in her.

Then Denise, a storm- who completely blew him away. She took away that stone heart and filled real flesh and blood in it, she made him crazy and he fell in love with her in just a few meetings. How amazing was it, she had the power that no one else had, she was the one who totally changed his perspective in life.

Nothing matters now to him but to have a clean and a new life with his wife.

The letters his mother had written lifted up all the grudge he was harboring inside but if he turned his back to the Old Man Skull at this point, he knew he would die, even Denise wouldn't be safe then.

Old Man Skull would not spare his life. He was none other than a foster son of him to the world and it would be easy to execute him for all the underhanded things done by that Old Man Skull.

Earlier, his life did not matter at all to him… but now he had found a reason to live.

He wanted to live… So he was trying his best to make his plans to go smoothly without the Old Man Skull's knowing.

He must continue to act like he wasl siding with the Old Man Skull.

His thoughts were interrupted by Denver's tap on his shoulder.

"Hey man. What's with you? I mean you've been in deep thoughts after that challenge. I notice that you are so absent minded. I'm still keeping my eyes on you just so you know. I don't like an absent minded person around Denise so always keep your guard up…" said Denver half smiling.

Shawn smiled too. Denver was right, this was not the time to be absent minded, he must be alert always… being absent minded was the last thing he should do.
