The Billionaire's Contracted Wife Chapter 85

When she reached Tanaga, Ashley held on to his arms like a child.  "Is there a problem? Why do you look angry? Hey! I am asking you. Why won't you even answer?" Ashley badgered Tanaga, but she didn't realize Tanaga was already looking at her fiercely.

When she realized that his eyebrows were raised, she got worried. While he was looking at his arms where Ashely was holding on, but not saying a word.  Ashley felt ashamed and slowly removed her hands and put it right behind her. 

She began stepping back and looking down on her foot like a little child kicking an imaginary thing when there was nothing there to kick.  As soon as Ashley removed her hands from his arms, Tanaga continued towards the cabin. 

Once he reaches the cabin, he went inside without waiting if Ashley was behind him or what, then slammed the door shut.  When Ashley heard the door banging loudly, she decided not to continue following Tanaga and wend towards the upper deck to get some fresh air while looking out in the ocean without a care in the world.

Meanwhile, Tanaga quickly picked-up the cellphone as soon as he made it inside the cabin.  A moment later, the person he called answered.

"Tanaga! Finally, why weren't you answering my call?  If I didn't go to your home, I wouldn't have known that you were in the Philippines. Did you know that I almost followed you there, If your grandmother Hanada didn't tell me that she's going to make you come back?  I'm mad at you!" Ohani said playfully.

"Ohani!  Shut your mouth up and listen to me! I don't know what your reason for coming here at the dock and waited for me.  I'm telling you now that I have a company from the Philippines, and you better not bother her. Do you understand me?" Shouted Tanaga then hangs up the phone soon after he has thrown it towards the bed.

"Shit! Why did you have to come back? I was doing fine, why?!!!!"

Ohani Yamaguchi was his childhood friend and first love.  They promised each other that once they graduated from college that they would get married.  However, something happened while they were in college in America. Ohani began modeling and acting.  She loves the attention she was receiving and decided to continue.

When someone offered her to make a movie in Hollywood, she quickly accepted it without thinking about Tanaga and their relationship.  She had forgotten their promised with each other. Little by little, she began hiding from Tanaga every time he comes to visit.

Then after a while, they become distanced with each other and lost communication.  Ohani left Tanaga in the air, without even letting him know that they had broken up.

Tanaga was severely hurt by what happened.  Thus, he promised himself that he would never again give his heart to any woman.  He doesn't want to get hurt ever again.

Therefore, he decided to hire a surrogate mother to provide him with an heir to his empire.  By doing that, he's heart would never get broken again. Thus, came Ashley Gusman in the picture.

Everything was fine since Ashley knew where she stood in Tanaga's life. She is wife in paper only, and their coupling was due to the contract that's needed to be fulfilled.

It's one of the reasons Tanaga liked Ashley, for he doesn't need to involve his heart with their relationship.  And if and when they do conceive a child, the contract they had singed is right there to validate the reason and can be used any time of the day.

"Ayah! What Am I going to do?!" He then pinched the bridge of his nose, for he started to get a headache.  He decided to lay down for a little, and he closed his eyes. He's hoping that when he does open his eyes that Ohani would be gone forever, and his nightmare would forever go away.

When Ashley saw that the Yacht had docked already and they were at the pier, she decided to go ahead and make preparation to embark and went back to the cabin.  However, once she reaches the door of the cabin, she was hesitant if she should go in or not?

"I wonder if Tanaga's still mad?  Why is it that he got mad so sudden when he saw that girl Ohani Yamaguchi?  What is their relationship, I wonder?" She was mumbling to herself when the door suddenly opened, and their eyes met, and they stared at each other without a word.

Ashley couldn't move nor say anything due to Tanaga's face still showing that he's pissed and was about to say something.  However, it seems that he doesn't' know how to say it, so Ashley decided to wait and see and stayed rooted at the door.

When Tanga's mouth opened, the tone of his voice didn't sound right in Ashley's ears, and he was snarling as he spoke. 'What are you standing there for? Are you coming or not?" He growled at Ashely.

Ashley, who was at first, was intimated by Tanaga for whatever reason… Suddenly turned one-hundred-degrees, and her blood pressure shoots up to the roop.  That's why what came out of her mouth next wasn't friendly at all.

"Excuse me, sir! Please do tell me how am I supposed to enter when you're blocking my path.  Yes! Of course I'm going in! So, if you'll excuse me… would you mind moving out of my way so I can go inside!" She pushed Tanaga out of the way and went inside.

She went straight to the bathroom and shut the door with force.  She then made sure the door was locked before slumping down to the ground and began sobbing her heart out.

Meanwhile, Tanaga was still left standing by the door, stunned.  He couldn't understand why Ashley was acting like that, and what could be her problem?  Technically, he should be the one with an issue and has the right to get upset at Ohan Yamaguchi.  However, that has nothing to do with Ashley since their relationship wasn't real.

"Hmmm, I hope she does not think just because we had enjoyed our company in the Philippines, and she also introduces me to her family that this is already for real.  Wow! We need to have a heart to heart talk about this situation. I cannot let her believe that she's now my real wife."

He was mumbling to himself while standing rooted by the door.  For Tanaga, their relationship was only part of the contract, and no feeling should be involved.

However, he couldn't help himself from worrying. 'Is Ashley mad at me? If she's mad, but why? What could be the reason for her to get upset, nothing?!' He shakes his head, then went back to the room to speak to Ashley, who locked herself inside the bathroom...
