The Billionaire's Contracted Wife Chapter 67

Tanaga decided to skip asking her or else the whole family might notice. So that it would be fair, he decided to introduce himself. "I am Tanaga Jones, 26 years old. An orphan and I take care of the properties that my parents left."

He decided not to tell more. He did not want to intimidate Ashley's family. It was enough that they know that he is rich. What he did not mention was his net worth that he is a billionaire. Even his grandchildren down to the 10th generation cannot spend all his fortune.

"Alright, that's enough. If you're done, let's go, and can you tour us at the casino? Since we cannot take pictures there, then let us sate ourselves by looking around. Do you agree?"

All of Ashley's brothers and Fely agreed. However, Ashley did not respond because she was still thinking of Tanaga. She did not know if he will allow them or not.

Ashley and Tanaga were surprised when Jessie suddenly stood up. "Sir! If you don't have any business for the day, why don't you accompany us?  This way, we would have someone who looks important so that the employees in this hotel would not look down at us," Jessie complained about sadness in his eyes.

Tanaga frowned and raised his eyebrow when he heard what his father-in-law had said.  "Why? Was there someone who insulted you? Who? Tell me so I can take action. That is not right that they will not look at all the guests equally. Hmph!"

Tanaga was obviously mad when he learned that there was an employee who treated guests like that, so Jessie did not want to admit who it was and instead invited them to go to the casino...

"Ashley, can you accompany them first. I will just talk to the one in charge of the hotel." Tanaga whispered, which puzzled Ashley's brothers. Why are the two too close to each other???

Ashley noticed that her brothers are observing them closely while they were whispering. 'Hmmm, Tanaga needs to be careful, or else we will get caught.' Ashley thought to herself without making it evident to her brothers.

"Alright, boss! Meet us at the casino area. We will just look around." She made sure that her voice was loud enough so that her older brothers would hear her.

Tanaga also understood what Ashley was trying to do, so he suddenly looked professional and thoughtfully answered back, "Ok, once I am done with my business, I will just look for you." He then said goodbye to Ashley's family before facing the people who should answer to him.

A few minutes had passed since Tanaga left when Arman, Arthur, and Ariel approached Ashley to tease her… Arman went first, "Ashley, if that is the person that you will marry, then I agree!

Hahahaha! Imagine, he's rich, good-looking. What else do you need to look for? He has everything."

He then asked Arthur and Ariel, "What do you think? Let's trap him?! Hahaha!"

"That's possible! How many days are you staying here? Just say the word, and we'll find the way." Arthur said with a mischievous smile.

Ariel then whispered to Ashley…"If you need help, I'm an expert in matters of the heart. Just ask, and I will teach you how you can attract your handsome boss."

Ashley struck his older brother in the arms then ran to her father to complain, "Dad, look at my brothers...They don't love me anymore! They are giving me away...They said I should trap my boss. What do you think, dad? Should I follow them?" Ashley asked jokingly.

Jessie acted as if he thought about it before answering. "Hmm? If you would ask me….Sure! Why not? Hahaha! Where else can you find a guy like that? He's so perfect. Aside from being good-looking, tall, kind, and polite… But most of all… you know…?" Then he winked at his wife, who was listening to her husband and daughter.

Ashley decided to play along with her dad, "that he's what dad?" while looking at him with glowing round eyes, eager to hear what her dad would answer.

Her whole family then answered as quick as lightning, with her mother at the forefront…. "FILTHY RICH!!!" Then they all laughed together while walking towards the casino...

Meanwhile, Ashley was deeply thinking while walking. "If you only knew, I do not need to entrap him because he is already my husband," while secretly smiling to herself.

But then, when she thought of their agreement and one of the reasons why they got married, she became sad and her parents saw this.

Mang Jessie thought that Ashley got piqued and sad because of their jokes, so he quickly went to his daughter and draped his arms around her, "My daughter, that was just our joke. Don't take it seriously, ok?"

"When it comes to love and to the one you'll spend your whole life with, we will not interfere. That's a promise!" He then kissed his youngest child in the head.

Ashley stopped walking and face her father, with tears falling down her face, "I know that dad. That is not why I was sad." She said as she wiped away her tears.

"If not that, then what? Ah, I know it... Is it because you would leave us again after your business here? Is that what is making you sad?" Jessie gently asked Ashley.

Ashley was about to answer, but she hesitated if she would agree with her father, or would she tell the truth of what happened in Japan?
