The Billionaire's Contracted Wife Chapter 146 - Too Many Bee's

Ashley and Tiny stopped to see who could be calling her name.  When she turned around to see, she frowns after seeing that it was non-other than COO Koji Hanada.  Ashley looked at Tiny with a question in her eyes? She's wondering why the COO of the company would be calling her?

However, Tiny only raised his hand, indicating he doesn't know either.  Out of courtesy, they waited until Koji reaches them to find out what he wanted of them.

Since Koji met Ashley Gusman, for some odd reason... he couldn't get her off his mind.  He wasn't planning to go anywhere at first because of his workload that's all filed up and needed to finish.  But, no matter how hard he tries to work, he couldn't concentrate on what he's doing because of that certain someone.  

That's why when it was lunchtime, he decided to go out and get some fresh air. He figures that it might help him in the long run.  Koji was about to leave to have lunch at a nearby restaurant.  On the way out, he decided to walk by Tanaga's floor with the hope he would get a glimpse of Ashley. Instead... He ran in with Tanaga's junior secretaries, who was busy talking about Ashley and Tiny.

He couldn't understand why? When he heard Ashley's name associated with another man, he felt a thinge of pain in his heart.  

When the junior secretaries saw Koji, they temporarily ceased their conversation, long enough for him to pass by.  However, no sooner then he passes them by, they resumed gossiping.  Unknown to them that Koji heard every word for he had followed them.

When the secretaries about to reach the elevator, that's when Koji turned around and used another lift to look for Ashley.  Koji couldn't help himself thinking about the conversation that he heard...

"I wonder what kind of relationship does Tiny has with Miss Gusman?  I hope he's not courting her or maybe a boyfriend already.  That will be suck if that happens."  He was mumbling to himself while inside the elevator.  He couldn't wait for the elevator to arrive at the lobby; he needed to catch her while he can.

Finally, the elevator arrives at the lobby of the building. He quickly got out and ran towards the cafeteria.  That's when he got a glimpse of Ashley and Tiny, who was about to enter.  He got excited unknowingly and shouted...

"Miss Gusman!  Hello! Miss Gusman, wait up!"  Koji was trying to catch his breath from running so fast, as he approaches Ashley and Tiny.

Ashley and Tiny both heard that someone was calling Ashley's name.  They both turned around to look at the same time.  His brows raised when he saw where the voice that he heard coming from.

'What does he needed from ma'am Ashley?  Don't tell me that he likes her?  Holly cow!  You better not even think about it, if you don't want your cousin to kill you.' He thought while standing right next to Ashley, waiting for Koji to arrived.

When Koji was almost where they at, that's when Ashley spoke with a sweet smile on her lips.  "Sir, Hanada, what can I do for you?"  She kindly asked.

"Hahaha! Nothing!  I saw you about to go in, and I figured that you here to get food for your boss.  Why don't I help you choose for him?  I know what he likes to eat."  Koji offered with a sweet smile on his face.  His two dimples were indented heavily.

Tiny saw how Koji's eyes were brightly shining while he's looking at Ashley. ' Boss, if you don't want your cousin to steal your wife away from you... You better tell your wife how you feel about her!' He seriously thought as he gazed at the two conversings.

"Well, while I appreciate your help, I don't think I would need it.  As you can see, he sent his bodyguard with me.  It's alright, COO Hanada, we can handle it from here.  It is not right for a big boss to do a minimal job like this."  She then looks at tiny for help.

When Koji saw that Ashley was looking at Tiny, he finally remembers that his around.  "It's alright, Tiny, and I can escort Miss Gusman, you can go ahead and go back to your post.  I'll take care of here."  The tone of his voice was mild but commanding.

Unfortunately, Tiny is not easy to be intimidated.  Another thing is that Ashley is his charge and not Tanaga. Therefore, how in the world is he going to leave her to be? 

"Sir, I apologize, but sir Jones specifically told me to accompany Miss Gusman and never leave her.  I'm sorry!  But, I can't do what your asking of me."  He said while looking at Koji with a straight face.

"Oh' if that's the case, then go ahead.  What can I do... I'm not your boss!"  He said it a little sternly this time, and his voice is louder than usual.  Tiny could tell that he was irritated but unable to do anything.

"Well, Miss Gusman, I'll go ahead then.  But, if you ever need anything... you know where my office is located.  Come see me anytime!"  He offered with sadness on his eyes before turning around to leave.

As soon as Koji turned around to leave, Ashley couldn't help but felt bad for the man.  She almost accepted his offer of help if she wasn't afraid that Tanaga might not appreciate the gesture.  She shook her head and decided to go ahead and see about getting food for her workaholic husband.

Meanwhile, inside Tanaga's office.  He realizes that it was already lunchtime when his stomach started grumbling from hunger.  That's when he finally remembers that his wife is now working with him and probably starving.  

When He looked at Ashley's desk where she's supposed to be busy with paperwork, not even her shadow was around.  "Hmm, where could that girl be?"  He mumbles while stretching his aching arms.

He temporarily closed the folder with a doc.u.ment that he was reading and got up to look for Ashley.  "Oh' my body ached!!!" Said Tanaga as he stretches his long arms, wiggles his body to loosen up some cramped muscles. 

When he walked out of his office, he only saw Sato inside of his office and nodding off where he was seated.  All of his junior secretaries were in the lounge having their lunch during busy gossiping, and he heard every word of it as he passed by.

"Did you ladies see the way COO Hanada looked when we passed by him earlier?"  Aiko asked curiously to one in particular.

"Which one?  The way he's eyebrows risen when he heard that Miss Gusman was with someone?  Yup!  Me too, I thought I was the only one?"  Said Tamiko with excitement in her eyes.

"Wow!  Filipina beauty is something else, don't you think so?  We have been here how many months already, and COO Hanada never greeted us, not even once.  

"Gosh!  I'm so jealous at Miss Gusman, she had just started, and she already has a lot of admirers,"  Aiko said loud enough for Tanaga to hear clearly.

They had no idea that the person they had been discussing already belongs to the person right in front of them, staring while shooting daggers from his eyes.

The junior secretaries were stunned when Tanaga's face popped right in front of them with a scowl on his lion's face as they asked them a question...

"Where did you all last saw Miss Gusman?  Who's with her? Who's the admirer's that you're speaking about?!"  He sternly asked all of his junior secretaries.  While the smoke was coming out of his nose and ears from anger...
