The Billionaire's Contracted Wife Chapter 145 - Working Hard, Or Hardly Working?

She has no idea that her husband was secretly watching her.  He simply enjoying what he was seeing, and he felt so happy deep inside of him, and he couldn't understand why?  'Hmmm. I pray and hope that we stay like this forever.  Peace and quiet, no bickering and in harmony.  Even just here inside the office would be nice.' He was telling himself as he continued watching his beautiful wife.

Ashley sorted and began reading all the messages that she brought with her.  She arranged the messages based on the importance.  The one that's not so important, she put it aside.  Meanwhile, the one that needed his attention urgently, she picked it all up and took it to her husband.

She stood right in front of Tanaga's desk and waited first for him to acknowledge her before...  "Sir, whenever your ready, I will recite your schedule for the day."  She said professionally.  If someone were looking at her and listening for the way she spoke, they would think that she had been his assistant for a while already.

Tanaga stopped momentarily to give Ashley his undivided attention.  "Go ahead! Whenever your ready, you may begin." He said while looking at her straight up and ready to listen.

However, deep inside him dirty little mind... He was thinking of something else he would instead do to his wife at the moment.  'Gosh! I can't believe how lucky I am to marry such a beautiful woman.  I wonder what our offspring would look like when we finally manage to create one.  I'm sure if it's a girl, she would be the cutest baby in the world.  

On the other hand, if it's a boy, with our combination... I'm afraid he would break so many ladies' hearts in the process. I could already envision the future if it does happen.'  While his mind was busy running around, Ashley was busy reciting his schedule for the day.

Ashley has no idea that Tanaga hasn't heard a word she said.  He looks like he was listening, but the truth is, he's somewhere in the la, la, land.

"So' after your 10:30 a.m. appointment, then there's Mr...."  She keeps on talking while reading the long list of meetings without taking a breather in between words.

When it seems that Ashley finally finished speaking, that's the only time Tanaga ever said anything.  "Ok! Whatever you say, that's what I'm going to do." He then turned his attention back to the paperwork right in front of him.

The couple was busy the whole day working.  Paperwork up to the ying-yang was filed up in front of both of them.  Tanaga has so many doc.u.ments needed to approve or disapprove, along with many appointments with people that wanted to have a word with him.  Therefore, Ashley was busy as well as arranging his schedule all day long.

When it hit noon, the three junior secretaries were quick to leave.  Leaving only Sato to answer the phone in case someone calls.

When Tanaga was moving an inch to go out and have lunch, Ashley decided to go down to the canteen to get some food for the both of them.  The only problem was, she has no idea where the cafeteria located.

She decided to ask Sato.  "So, after stepping out of the elevator, I would turn right and passed the receptionist desk.  Then I would go straight, and I would find it?  Am I right?"  She repeated the directions that Sato had given her to make sure she heard it correctly.

"Yes, Madam!  If you want too, I could go down and get the food for both of you.  However, don't blame me if the Tiger finds it that it's not his type.   Who knows... This could be the reason that he would chop my head off and fire me on the spot.  If that happens, I would come to your home and ask you to adopt me. Hahaha!"  He jokingly told Ashley while grinning from ear to ear.

"Ya, right!  How in the world are you expecting me to adopt you when I, too, am homeless.  Hahaha!"  She said then turned around to leave so she could go down and get the food herself.

When the bodyguard saw that she's on the way out the door, he quickly contacted Tiny to let him know that his charge is on the way down and about to enter the private elevator.

Tiny, who was seated comfortably at the lobby of the building reading magazine, quickly got up to wait for his lady boss in front of the private elevator.  Therefore, Ashley was stunned when she walked out of the elevator and saw Tiny standing at the side like a statue and unmoving.

"Oh,' Saint Mary!"  She exclaims loudly while glaring at Tiny.  "What in the world are you doing standing there like a statue?"  She whispered while she keeps on looking behind her, to the left, to the right.  Making sure that no one was paying attention to them.

"What do you think, ma'am?  Of course, I'm waiting for your arrival."  He whispered back to his boss with a straight face void of any emotions.  While still standing to wait for Ashley to began walking towards, wherever she was going...   

Ashley was afraid that someone might saw them and think that there's more than what the eye could see.  She decided to ask him to make sure what she thought Tiny was going to do...

"Don't tell me that your planning to follow me wherever I'm going?  Didn't I told you already that we need to be inconspicuous, and we cannot let other people know that you are guarding me!  They would gossip about us and wonder what our relationship is.  Who knows, someone might think that you're my boyfriend.  Is that  alright with you?"  Si jokingly asked as she sauntered towards the direction of the canteen.

She didn't make a mistake on her assumption, for they ran across with the three junior secretaries who just came back from the canteen to get their lunch.

When they saw the two comfortably speaking with one another, while Ashley has a beautiful smile plastered on her face, while Tiny has a serious look on his face, they started whispering.

" Fumika, do you think they are an item?  It looks like it's a little too quick, don't you think so?"  Asked Aiko with a mischievous grin on her lips.

"Nah!  I don't think so.  I think they are only acquaintances.   Since they are both from the Philippines, they might know each other from there."  Fumika responded nonchalantly.

"You guys better stop what your doing now.  That's trouble if they hear you."  Etsuko interjected with a sneer towards Ashley and Tiny.

Aiko and Fumika shut their mouth as they neared the two when they were right in front of them...  Fumika and Aiko bowed to give respect to their superior.  However, Etsuko just continued walking as if she didn't see them.

Tiny's brows risen when how Etsuko ignored Ashley.  'I wonder what that woman's problem is?  Why is she giving ma'am a disgusted look, as if ma'am Ashley is beneath her?  If she only knew that with one word from ma'am Ashley, they could all go to hell and never come back.'  

They were almost at the canteen and about to go inside when they heard a voice from behind them...  "Miss Gusman!  Hello!  Miss Gusman!  Wait up!"
