The Billionaire's Contracted Wife Chapter 139 - Thinking Of Her Future

He didn't make a mistake with his assumption.  Because, as soon as he arrives at his grandmother's home... They wouldn't even let him enter.  Grandmother Hanada was blocking his way, telling him to go back home and leave his wife alone.

"My beautiful grandma ... Come on... Please! I need to talk to her. I need to know what I had done wrong to make amend.  Please, grandma, I beg you!!!"  However, no matter how much he begged his grandmother, were adamant not to let him enter.

'Instead of helping him to be able to talk to his wife and makeup.  He received an earful from the older woman.  'What the heck!'  He thought while thinking of the way to pass through the guard dog. 

"Grandson, listen to me... I think it's better to let her be for now.  Why don't you wait until tomorrow and speak to her?  After all, she now your assistant, so you'll definitely see her tomorrow in the office.  

"Why not go ahead and go home first and leave your wife here. I'll talk to her to find out what's the problem if that would make you feel better?" Grandma Hanada said gently to her dear grandson.

"But, grandma..." Tanaga complains while he has a sad-looking face.

Grandma Hanada laughed to herself as she looked at Tanaga. 'Where is the tiger who has always been growling and frowning? When it comes to Ashley, you are just a kitten. Hahaha!"  She thought, but she didn't make it visible.  She didn't want him to know that she's enjoying every minute of the situation.

"Go ahead, Tanaga, go home first."  She insisted as she ushered him towards the open car door.

"Nothing's going to happen with you keep on insisting on seeing her, because your wife doesn't want to talk to you right now.  Since it's your fault, you'll have to suffer first." Grandmother Hanada gently said as if she was coaxing a young child.

"Damn it! Grandma! Who is your grandchild here? Why do you seem to take her side more than mine? He complains, looking all fl.u.s.tered.

"Tanaga Hirokashi Jones! Listen to me! Go home and stop crying like a spoilt child. There's nothing I can do because I have no power! Do you understand?" Grandma Hanada snarled at him to stop bugging.

He has no choice but to listen since he couldn't even come in to talk to Ashley.  He decided to asks... "Grandma, help me out here.  I really don't know what I did wrong. I took her out to have lunch, and we were enjoying our food.   Then she said she was going to the bathroom, but when she didn't come back afterward... I look for her, and she was gone!"

Grandma Hanada felt sorry for her grandson, who was a very proud man. Now he pleads with her to help him. "Alright!  Alright, I will do my best.  Don't worry, sooner or later... Everything will be fine.

" What you should worry about right now is your cousin and Ohani Yamaguchi. I'm worried that they have a plan. So be careful!"  Grandma Hanada warns him with a concerned voice...

After Tanaga's departure, Ashley then stepped out of the room.  While Tanaga and grandma Hanada was arguing.  She was busy talking to her family in the Philippines.  After speaking to her parents ... She made a firm decision about her future.  She will ask Tanaga if she can just run the boutique where her wedding dress came from.

Such a waste of her education if she doesn't apply or use it while she can.  Should Tanaga agree, she would gain experience in running a business, and at the same time, she would be able to use what she had learned in college were she received a degree in Business Management.

Another thing is when her contract expired in a year.  She would be returning to the Philippines, and there she could start her own business.  

If at first, she does not intend to accept the ten million dollar payment his offering.  Now, she has changed her mind.  She needed to become successful for the unborn child that they would have.  She doesn't want the child to be ashamed of her in the future when it happens.

Just as she was walking out of the room, it was the same time as when Grandma Hanada came in from the outside after getting rid of her grandson.

"Grandma, what happened?" Ashley asked with a sad look on her face. It was noticeable that Tanaga did not insist that they talk.  She was disheartened and feeling down.

"Yup! I told him to go home first and so he could figure out that he was mistaken for the way he treated you. You're his wife. He should always be on your side, treating you kindly and sweetly. Instead of always insulting you without thinking." Said grandmother Hanada.

Ashley didn't answer and just followed Grandma Hanada into the living room to talk to her and inform her of her plan for the future.

Meanwhile, Tanaga was on his way back to the mansion. When suddenly, his cellphone lit up. He quickly answered it without even looking at who had called, thinking it was Ashley calling him back.

"Tan! * Huh-huh-huh! * You know who this is, right? I only want you to know that you're the only one that I ever loved ... If I wasn't just blinded by the idea that I would be famous ... I would never... ever gone to that man. " Ohani's said while wailing. From the sound of her voice, she seemed to be intoxicated.

Initially, Tanaga would have ended the call. But when he heard Ohani crying ... He decided to listen to what she has to say, for old time's sake.

"Thank you so much for the happy days you have given me in my life. Now that we have no hope of ever reconciling... It's better to leave this nasty world." As soon as she finished saying those words... Ohani, just hung up the call.   

"Ohani! Ohani! Shit! What kind of nonsense is she saying to leave this nasty world?" Tanaga mumbles to himself as he called Ohani back.

When Ohani didn't answer, Tanaga got worried and ordered the driver to go to Ohani's condominium. "Hurry up. This is a matter of life and death. I know that woman when she says something, she would do it. I don't want to be the cause of her suicide." Tanaga told his driver.

When Tanaga's driver heard that it was a matter of life and death, he quickly pressed on the gas pedal and sped away.

After a moment, they were in front of the condominium building. Tanaga couldn't wait for her bodyguards to catch up and open the door. He quickly opened the door and rushed out to the front desk.

"What is Miss Yamaguchi's unit number?" He asked his employee.

"Unit number 2345, Sir!" The front desk clerk replies, wondering why their boss is asking this.

"Give me the spare key for that unit, now!" Tanaga shouted as he was about to panic and rush.

When the front desk clerk handed him the key, Tanaga immediately left and went straight to his private elevator. Just a few minutes later, he was on the 20th floor. Without hesitation again, he went straight to Ohani's unit and opened the door without knocking.

"Ohani !!! Where are you?" Tanaga shouted as he entered. When no one answered his call ... He went straight to the room to see if Ohani was there.  

However, when Tanaga opened the door, he suddenly stopped in his place, and his eyes widened ...
