The Billionaire's Contracted Wife Chapter 107 - A Little White Lie

Ashley was thinking about how she would answer Alden's question.  Will she say her real situation, or will she lie? What are the chances that they will see each other again, so she decided to give another version as her answer?

"With God's grace, I was able to finish my studies, and I'm here in Japan to fulfill my promise to my parents," Ashley answered while smiling.

"Wow!  That's good to hear... I'm happy for you that you are making your dreams come true one at a time.  So… because you are done with your studies and are here in Japan. Does that mean that you can now have a boyfriend?" Alden asked with bated breath as he anticipated Ashley's answer.

"Well, I just arrived here.  I've been here for less than a month, so I haven't received my salary.  And about a boyfriend, that is not in my mind now." Ashley answered Alden thoughtfully without even blinking.  Alden believed her and was able to breathe comfortably when he heard Ashley's answer.

'This means that I still have hope.  A good thing and she has no boyfriend yet.  This time I will never let her go again!' Alden thought to himself while he was slowly playing with his glass containing his juice.

Ashley noticed that Tiny was restless while seated at the other table.  He was calling someone now and then. After a call, he would text, so Ashley got worried and remembered her husband.  'Oh shit! He might be calling Tanaga and telling on me.

Ashley quickly stood up.  "Excuse me, Alden, and I will just go to the restroom." She did not wait for Alden's answer and promptly went to Tiny's table.  "You better not be calling him, or you're dead meat to me!" She made sure Tiny could hear her as she passed by.

Tiny almost dropped his cellphone with what he heard.  'What will I do? Damn if I do, and damn if I don't! What kind of couple are they!!!' Tiny's thoughts were shouting in his mind, and he quickly stood up to follow Ashley wherever she went.

Tiny did not notice that Alden noticed him when he stood up to follow Ashley because he looked back to make sure Ashley was going to the bathroom and will not leave without any notice.  He saw Tiny stand up and follow Ashley.

Alden quickly stood up too and called his bodyguard, who was waiting outside the restaurant.  "I need you here, asap. There's something I need you to do." He just said that and hung up the phone.

After a few seconds, his bodyguard arrived.

"Sir?  Do you need anything?"

"Do you see that big guy you passed?  Anyway, follow him and look where he is going.  Do not give him a chance to go near the girl I was with.  Do you understand?" Alden was worried that the person he saw has terrible intentions with Ashley, so he followed her.

Tiny stood by the ladies' room and waited for Ashley to come out.  He did not notice that Alden's bodyguard arrived with four more companions who looked as big as him.

When they stopped right in front of him, Tiny was surprised.  "Can I help you with anything, boys?!" He asked in an angry tone and rudely with a scowl in his face.

"Dude! Are you waiting for someone?  What are you doing in front of the ladies' room?" Alden's bodyguard asked seriously like a policeman.

"Why?  So what do you care if I stand here?  Yes, I'm waiting for my ward. Do you have a problem?" Tiny answered angrily while he was calculating how he will fight the guys if needed.

Alden's bodyguard was about to answer when the door of the bathroom opened.  Ashley's eyes grew big as she saw the situation. "Tiny! What is the problem?" She asked while still by the door. She did not go out entirely.

"Ma'am, Ashley!  Please go back inside, and I will fix this.  I will text you when this is solved!" Tiny answered while looking straight in the eyes of Alden's bodyguard.

Alden's bodyguard heard how Tiny addressed Ashley, so his forehead was slightly wrinkled and backed up.  'This is not right! I need to let the boss know about this.' He thought as he started to call his boss.

"Boss!  They know each other.  He called the girl as ma'am.  What do you want us to do?"

"Is that so?  Find out what is their relationship and if they are really together.  Leave there and let them be." Alden commanded them while thinking deeply.

Alden's bodyguard followed him and tried to find out what was Tiny's relationship with Ashley.

"Whatever is my relationship with him, it's none of your business.  What is important is you know that we are together. Did you hear her answer, and she followed what I told her?  So, it's quite clear that we are together. Why, who are you to meddle with our affairs?"

"Sorry, boss!  We were just asked to do this." They bowed and asked for forgiveness, then quickly left.

Meanwhile, Tanaga arrived with his bodyguards.  He could not wait for the other bodyguards in the other vehicle to come in.  He quickly went down the car, and the people in the mall noticed him.

The bodyguards who were with him in his vehicle entered first, and Tanaga followed.  His other bodyguards who were riding in another car were scrambling to catch up with Tanaga to protect him.

"Wow!  I wonder who he is?  He looks like an important person and so good-looking." One person said to her companion as they were about to enter the mall.

"He must be an important person.  Just look at how many bodyguards he has.  Maybe, he is a Mafia, so he had so many assistants." The other mall goer answered.

'Hmmm, that's possible based on his looks.  He's so good looking that it looks like no one will survive when he passes them.  Let's go, and we might be involved without a choice." The mall goer quickly pulled the other.

Meanwhile, in the restaurant's bathroom, Tiny and Ashley were arguing while Alden was already bored that Ashley has not come back.  He decided to go to her to know…. 

Tanaga was also arriving… looking ready for world war III...
