Niannian's face was extremely pale and two streaks of bright red blood were flowing from her nostrils. Yun Muxi frantically pushed the pager button on the top of the bed. She then grabbed some tissues from the bedside table and wiped the blood off Niannian's nose. Seeing the situation, Murong Ye and Murong Qingtian rushed forward and looked at Niannian worriedly.

Yun Muxi lifted Niannian's head up high and used a tissue to block her nostrils. Very soon, the white tissue was dyed red. Murong Ye quickly grabbed another piece and helped to block Niannian's nostrils.

Cui Pengrui rushed into the ward with a team of medical staff. Yun Muxi cried, "Dr. Cui, please come and take a look. She's bleeding non-stop!"

Yun Muxi turned to him and said in a flat tone. "Niannian is facing this so bravely, how can I cry just because I'm having a hard time dealing with it?"

Murong Ye and Murong Qingtian could not help but admire how strong and determined these two women are.

After a while, Cui Pengrui exited the ward. He looked at Yun Muxi with a solemn look. "Since she's bleeding again, she has to start consuming medication immediately. Please prepare yourselves. Niannian's voice was weak but she tried to talk like it was not holding her back. It pained others even more to hear it.

"Yupp, Niannian is behaving so well. The doctor will fix you up and we'll go home very soon."

"Mommy, I miss Little Cutie. I wonder if he's being good. And the friends and teachers at kindergarten too. I haven't gone to kindergarten for a long time. I wonder if they learned new songs and dances."

Yun Muxi caressed Niannian's head gently. She listened without saying a single word.

In the following days, Niannian was transferred to the sterile ward. Yun Muxi was only allowed one hour in the ward each day. For the rest of the time, she could only look at Niannian through the big glass window. Niannian's small figure looked extra lonely in the big room. However, she would smile and wave to Yun Muxi every single time. Sometimes she would even make a big heart above her head.

On this day, Yun Muxi went in to take a look at Niannian as per usual. Niannain laid quietly on the bed while Yun Muxi told her a story as she gently caressed her hair. Suddenly, a strand of hair got wrapped around her long fingers. Yun Muxi turned to look at it. It was like the imagery of a hemp rope tied around her heart. She felt suffocated, and it hurt. Yun Muxi tucked the strand of hair into her pocket silently and continued with the story.

However, what pained her increasingly was to find out that she was picking up Niannian's falling hair more often. It got very serious and within a short couple of days, there was a bald patch on Niannian's scalp instead of her thick black hair.

Yun Muxi also saw how her usual chubby cheeks were becoming swollen. The swelling from being sick caused Yun Muxi's heart to wrench.

Yun Muxi walked out of the ward while looking at Niannian smiling brightly and waving to her. Her chest was filled with bloating pain and she felt like it was going to burst. She forced a smile and waved to Niannian. Then, she followed Cui Pengrui to the office.

After entering the office, Yun Muxi looked into his eyes. "Dr. Cui, Niannian's hair loss issue is getting very serious, I've noticed her swelling on her cheeks too."

Cui Pengrui nodded. "Yes, those are the side effects of the medicine. It contains a big amount of hormone stimulation, which will cause an even greater effect on children, such as the loss of hair and bloated face."

A day's worth of shooting was carried out progressively. During filming, Yun Muxi put her body and mind into it. Everything was going smoothly. However, when you over-exerted yourself, the body gave a warning.

Yun Muxi had just finished the night scene when a dizzy spell hit her and she fainted. Gong Yu was near her and by the time he heard the loud thud and turned his head, Yun Muxi had already fallen to the ground.

Gong Yu rushed forward and picked her up. "Xiao Xi? Xiao Xi? Are you okay?"

However, Yun Muxi had no response at all. Zhao Yi got a shock as well. A crowd of staff started to gather around them. Gong Yu shouted in a deep voice, "Call an ambulance!"

The staff finally realized that they should make a call. The ambulance arrived very quickly and Yun Muxi was sent to the hospital. Gong Yu's grim face was very intimidating. "Doctor, how is she?"

The emergency intern was a fresh graduate. Seeing Gong Yu's blackface, he was scared out of his mind and no words came out of his mouth. A slightly more senior doctor filled in for him quickly. "The doctor said that it was fatigue and malnutrition."

"You guys work on set every day. You should be clear about her situation. How are you taking care of her? You even let her faint!"

"She's trying to divert her attention and is working hard to get busy. She spent most of her time filming. I have indeed overlooked in this matter."
