Feng Xiao Qing could only gape at her in surprise. How could she have a different attitude in such a short time?! Lu Yi Feng nudged her so that she could respond to Xiao Xi Xi's apology. "It's... It was too embarrassing to say that she didn't have the money to do that --- not because she was ashamed of being poor but she was feeling ashamed of not being able to give her the best. Lu Yi Feng naturally understood Feng Xiao Qing's predicament and helped her.

"This is also because Daddy is a good friend with the doctor..." Lu Yi Feng explained.

Xiao Xi Xi bobbed her head up and down in understanding. "Then... I'm willing to try!" Xiao Xi Xi finally said especially after she heard that the doctor was daddy's friend. Daddy was such a good man so her friend must have been nice too.

Feng Xiao Qing sighed in relief when she heard her agreement. 'Finally!' She thought to herself.

"Good!" Both she and Lu Yi Feng said at the same time. They looked at each other and smiled happily.

"Then, Daddy will call him over so that he will be able to meet you soon!" Lu Yi Feng said happily.

"Yes, Daddy..." Xiao Xi Xi said obediently. "When? I need to prepare my heart," she said cutely while holding her chest and looking so adorable with dimples on both of her cheeks.

Lu Yi Feng smiled. "How about this evening? After daddy and mommy go home from work, so we can accompany you..."

"Deal!" Xiao Xi Xi answered happily. Then, she turned to Xiao Xi Xi, "Mommy... Can I not go to school today?"

"Why? Don't you always love going to school?" Feng Xiao Qing asked in confusion.

She looked down and finally admitted, "I'm... I'm a bit scared!"

The adults understood her fear, after all, the kidnapping had happened at her school. Lu Yi Feng murmured his agreement, "Good! Daddy will make sure that security is good first before you can start going to school once more."
