"We... We will..." By this time, both kidnappers didn't dare to play around with Lu Yi Feng anymore. They quickly obeyed whatever the big boss said! Maybe by being obedient, they would have a better ending than those two.

Lin San quickly prepared to track the phone call once again. After everything was ready, he gave a signal to the kidnapper's boss to call The Employer.

Once the line was connected, someone was answering the phone. To their surprise, it was a woman's voice --- not a man just like what they had guessed and thought previously! This time, there was no voice changer and they could hear the woman's real voice clearly.

At first, Lu Yi Feng still thought that it was Lu Ming Cheng's doing because it was connected to Zheng Feng as well. Although he had heard that Lu Ming Cheng had fired Zheng Feng, he didn't believe it because he thought that it was only a farce.

Maybe... that was actually real? Someone wanted to make this passed as Lu Ming Cheng's doing. In a way, this woman was actually quite clever. Lu Yi Feng sneered to himself but not as smart as he thought she would be.

But... this voice? Why did he feel that her voice was so familiar? Was it really her voice? He couldn't believe that woman could be that wicked!

"Why is she...?" Feng Xiao Qing asked in confusion. She recognized that voice as well ah~! But... she didn't think that they had many interactions so far... Only twice, at most. Besides, what was her connection with Xiao Xi Xi?!

Lu Yi Feng told Lin San, "No need to track it down. I know who this woman is..." Thus, the latter stopped what he did and politely waited for the next order.

The woman on the other side of the phone yelled impatiently, "Where are you?! I have been waiting for a long time! Where's the kid?!"

Lu Yi Feng sighed. Even though he had never been in relationship, he saw that meaningful gaze from his mother's expression several times and didn't know whether he should laugh or cry. It seemed like he would get a hard time at home, but he knew he deserved it --- after all, Xiao Xi Xi was hurt in the process.

He wanted to coax her but there were so many things that he needed to deal with.

Feng Xiao Qing called Xiao Xi Xi over sternly, "Let's go home first!"

Xiao Xi Xi looked a bit hesitant and asked, "But... Daddy?"

Feng Xiao Qing glared at Lu Yi Feng and said softly to Xiao Xi Xi, "He will catch up with us later! Don't worry about him!"

Lu Yi Feng scratched his nose in helplessness. The attitude that she gave him and Xiao Xi Xi couldn't be any more different.

Xiao Xi Xi wanted to object, but Lu Yi Feng quickly coaxed the former, "You go with Mommy first, okay? You still need to take care of your wound. Daddy will deal with important matter first..."

Thus, Xiao Xi Xi quickly ran to her mommy and held her hand tightly, not forgetting to wave her hand and say goodbye to Lu Yi Feng.

Feng Xiao Qing turned around and went out of the room without looking back, no one dared to stop her under Lu Yi Feng's order. Ah Rang looked between her and the big boss, decided to follow Feng Xiao Qing because she felt that it was safer. By this point, she knew that both of them had special relationships--- no wonder Feng Xiao Qing looked so worried and absent-minded when they were trying to find the kidnapper ah~!

Hi,

I was busy for the past weeks because there were several things happening in my life --- my daughter was sick and after that, my husband fell down from the bicycle. Fortunately, it wasn't a big accident. Thus, I can't offer mass release because I need to update daily for two books and take care of them as well.

I don't have a pile stock so I also have to write daily and find a chance in between my daily life. I'm sorry for the inconvenience for those who have been waiting for more daily updates.

I had just gotten the chance to read some of the comments one by one and I know some of you have found my story to be boring or dragging, but I will never play around just to let you spend more SS in the story.

There will be a relevant connection with the future chapters from the chapters that some of you thought as a filler and I'm fine with that, after all, your comments will be constructive criticism for me to be a better writer and learn from it. This kidnapping process will be a trigger for something in our ML and FL's life and just like you know, this is a slow pace story but everything will be revealed in the future and I won't make this story too long :D
