The Atlantean Compensator Chapter 73

*9Am of the 1st, June 2024*

Heracles . "It is the last month of our training, At this point everybody i assume is feeling comfortable with everything arround them, and especially with the twist their lives have taken .

Every one of you, is stronger mentally and physically by miles away of what he used to be .

I don't think one can regret being better than what he once was .

In this month, we'll participate in a very special event .

"The Atlantean Olympics" . "

Sebastin asks . "The Olympics?"

Oumad . "You mean the same ones as we know?"

Heracles . "The same concept, but ofcourse on a bigger scale . . "

Alkeyder . "Let me explain to you how will it be .

And really you should think of it as a fun competition, a good last memory of us together in this place .

We do think that you all have reached a level enough for you to resume your lives, but these Olympics will help improve your powers even more .

First, all of us participates .

That means also me, Love, Galahad and Sahaqiel .

Making us 12!

We'll be split in two teams .

Me and Heracles being the captain of those teams .

The competition will take place for the whole month, and whomever wins at the end gets 1 wish to be made . Meaning 6 wishes for the winning team .

The competition constitutes of 7 Atlantean sports .

Chess

Combat

Mind games

Basketball

Arts

Football

Archery

This list is up to changes with time, so expect other sports as well .

The schedule will also change .

The olympics will start at 10Am and finish at 6pm

From 8pm to 10pm, we'll have our usual classes and spiritual sessions .

So it's going to be a very long, athletic month .

But certainly fun, don't you all think?"

Beazly says excitedly . "Oh yes, Absolutely!!

I love this idea . "

Herald . "I do as well, who came up with it?"

Alkeyder . "Well, this is actually the first time we ever do such thing, us 3 masters agreed on doing so . "

Aciya . "You all deserve it, for being one of the most brilliant students we ever had in our Association .

But it is not going to be just fun and laughs, you will have to take it seriously as well .

Losing isn't part of being Atlanteans . "

Ayla . "Yes Master!

We too could not find better masters who helped us as much as you all did . "

Aciya . "No need to thank me baby . "

Alkeyder . "Now now . . .

We have enough time to make the teams . "

Herald asks . "How will the teams be made?"

*Heracles and Alkeyder look at each other*

Aciya understands their look immediatly, and formed a table similar to those of Arm wrestling using a magical matter that quickly turned into stone .

They never seen her use such technic so it was impressive in itself, she can make something out of nothing!!

Alkeyder and Heracles stand in each side of the table .

Alkeyder . "As we always used to do!"

Heracles . "Am afraid this will take more time than it should, but i'll try making it quick . "

Alkeyder . "Do you realise you've lost more than you won?"

Heracles . "Shut up . "

Both take the stance of arm wrestling, with both hands holding tightly each other .

Beazly comments . "Oh, arm wrestling!!"

Sebastin . "I didn't expect this . . .

That is pretty cool!"

Ayla . "But . . . "

The arm of Heracles is well more muscular and huge than that of Alkeyder, making them think at first that it's an easy win for Heracles .

Herald says calmly .

"No . . It isn't what you think Ayla .

I can't imagine how this will turn out . . . "

Ayla . "Hmm?

What do you mean Herald?"

Herald . "You'll see . "

Aciya counts to three .

"1!"

Everybody focused on their two masters .

"2!"

Even the wind started blowing out of nowhere, the aura arround the two masters changed!

An explosion is about to begin .

Aciya . "3!!!"

As soon as she said it,

The wind blew so strong it could make people fly!

Heracles and Alkeyder are looking as serious and focused as they've ever been .

And their hands haven't moved one inch, it was a perfect tie for the first few seconds .

Beazly shouts .

"HOLY GOD!!

Their powers gave me chills!!"

Sebastin . "Damn . . . how did the table hold on to that, it must be created by something beyond steel . "

Everybody was amazed of the epic scene .

Heracles' arm started catching fire, making both their hands burn, but neither of them was hurt by it .

Heracle's fire was a sign that he's elevating his power to higher degrees . . .

Joshou . " . . . Heracles has started to move Alkeyder's hand to his side . "

The movement was barely noticable only Joshou would spot it with his sharp sight .

Alkeyder and Heracles are so focused they can't waste energy on talking, or else either one of them will win easily .

But Alkeyder for a moment, closed his eye . .

Herald knew what this means, he's reciting an Alchemical spell!!!

As soon as Alkeyder opened his eyes .

A little lightning sign appeared on the back of his hand, which confirmed Herald's assumption .

Oumad spots it as well .

"Hey . . Something is on the back of Alkeyder's hand!"

Joshou . "Yes . . . Must be one of his technics .

Look! He's now gaining the edge . . . "

Alkeyder started moving Heracles' hand to the other side, slowly but surely . . .

Heracles' face showed signs of struggle, the fire turned into flames as he was biting on his teeth as hard as he could!!

Sebastin . "Damn . . It looks like Alkeyder is going to win!!"

Ayla . "Oh my god yes, i wasn't expecting that honestly . . . "

Alkeyder keeps on moving Heracle's hand slowly to the ground . . .

Until Heracles had enough and let out one of his terrifying screams .

"UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

The atmosphere changed even more, it became dark and gloomy all of a sudden . . .

His flames no more looked normal, they slowly turned black and grey!!!

Aciya's look changed, as she said .

"Oh . . . There was no need to reach such extent Alkeyder!!!"

Alkeyder didn't reply, he tried finishing Heracles off as fast as he could . .

The sign on his hand got bigger and shinier, even the table Aciya made started to crack .

The wind blew stronger it even made them all back off a bit, hair flew in the air .

Heracles kept on screaming even louder!!

Until they were back to where they began, tied perfectly .

Aciya holds her head in disbelief .

"Oh God . . .

You know once . . . they spent 22hours straight being in that same position . .

Whenever i think someone will win, the other makes an odd power-up and they get back to where they were . "

Everybody was shocked to hear that!!

"22 HOURS???" Said Ayla .

Sebastin . "Wow . . . What kind of power!

And there I thought we came close to their level . . . "

Beazly . "I want to try as well!!

I want to reach a point where i can beat them both . . . "

Aciya . "That will take even more . . .

Let's hope now that it ends before 10 . "

Herald concentrates on the scene for a moment, and activates his third eye to have a clearer vision .

He saw what he was expecting .

"Alkeyder is using his spirits to give him this immense power . . . .

Jinnis have powers way stronger than those we have, for Heracles to stand a chance in front of that using his own physical power is really . . . Incredible!"

Aciya . "Well . . . To correct you, and you're not totally wrong but The moment Heracles' flames turned dark .

He started using the same technic that Alkeyder uses . "

Herald looks surprised at her .

"Really??

So . . . Heracles can also control Jinnis!!"

Aciya wanted to correct him again, but chose not to and simply said .

"Kind of . . . "

The dark flames began to take over the place, everybody could feel the heat and the gloomy uncomfortable feeling caused by them, they're no ordinary flames!!

Even his eyes looked unconscious, as if he was possessed!

Alkeyder started getting exhausted and sweaty, something he hates!

For the first time, he'll say something . . .

"Well . . . I got to admit you got even more powerful!!

Unlike me . . .

However, as Aciya said . . . Losing isn't part of being Atlantean, and i hate losing to you more than most people . . . "

He then recites loudly .

"AJIB YAA MURROH BIHAQQI THOHSYIN . . . "

Heracles' look changed, a mix of being shocked, fearful and angered!!!

He completely unleashes his powers!!

The table began to get burnt by his dark flames and even their clothes began to disintegrate!!

Heracles sudden power up began to help him win, but Alkeyder did not stop reciting as his eyes were closed .

" AJIB YAA ABAA MURROH BIHAQQI SAAMIN WABIHAQQIL LADZII TAJALLAA LILJABALI . . "

Herald, struggling to even speak as he's fighting the strong wind .

" . . . This is . . . . . A SUMMONING SPELL!!!"

Aciya . "Yes it is . . .

As strong as Heracles is, if he doesn't win before the white king is summoned . .

It is over . "

Herald . "The . . . White king???"

Then,

Ether appears in front of Herald . .
